During the fight Hashirama took on Madara with the kyuubi, later on Hashirama gained the kyuubi and used it against him.

Off panel, Hashirama's tree world/buddah was down and so was Madara's perfect Susanoo.

They both were out of chakra and can only fight with their swords until Hashirama pulled the trickery Justu known as wood clone.

Madara claimed he saw it and rewrote history by inzanagi, took his cells to become even stronger.

Why are people comparing incarnates?

We should be learning by now that they are both even.

Its an established fact that Hashirama >/= EMS Madara. How can anyone question this when the manga even showed the fight is beyhond me.

Just because you lose in a fight, doesn't mean you're worse. Besides, last time I checked, Hashirama later died from the suspended wounds caused by the fight. Madara went on to live. By your logic, Naruto could accidentally lose to a fight with Konohamaru, and then automatically he is better.

@bold: Point? The op claimed EMS Madara would defeat Hashirama in a 1v1 via Izanagi, something that goes against canon events (not facts or claims, the manga literally showed how everything happened) and is completely untrue.

You can claim what you want, it doesn't matter if its made up. Hashirama's didn't die due to his wounds and was never left to die, he died during some war after Konoha was established (first databook, page 116).

Why are you bringing up his plans?
Hashi thought he was dead for a good reason, he fought Madara in a 1v1 and actually 'killed' him.

I think what OP means is that madara would use izanagi after the entire VOTE battle and come back at full health and kill hashirama who was exhausted.

I thought he needed both senju DNA and uchiha powers. But itachi explained why izanami was created. So madara basically could've won if he didn't use that much amount of chakra before the fight. If that's what you're saying.
