The women in the video is a famous Indian actress
Now naturally this has sparked controversy. While many of the things in video are justified, do you agree with the following :-
1) *** outside marriage is justified ?
2) To have your baby or not to have it?
3) Don't be fooled if I come at 4 AM or 6 PM?(The way it is portrayed implying infidelity)
4) My music, your noise, your sins, my virtue ..........
I have no problem with a women loving women, having *** before marriage or even getting a divorce if she is unhappy. But the above points challenge my understanding of empowerment.
What about you ? Do you agree with Vogue's version of empowerment ? I would also like to know your country to see the difference across nations/cultures. I am from India.

1) Isn't that cheating? Then no, its no OK for a married women to have *** while married unless she is going through divorce proceedings or is in permanent separation, that's just ridiculous
2) This has two notes, if a married woman does not wish to be a mother then she should not have to be, a baby is something both parents should want. If its abortion then no, unless the womans life is in danger or the babys, is she got pregnant through consensual *** its unfair to the Father to have an abortion if he wants the child and I don't believe in abortion under those circumstances anyway.
3) I don't get this, I don't understand why they would make it sound as if it is OK for a woman to be unfaithful, also no decent married woman would come home at 4am, cheating or not.
4)This just sounds like she is saying I'm perfect and you are wrong in every way, arrogant, self important bull
I watched this video and was affronted by most of it, its these types of videos that turn men away from womens rights when its men that we need on board. Its just a badly thought out perfume advert, people like Vogue, who can't think passed their Gucci's and whose entire purpose is to turn women in made up dollys should not be in charge of a female empowerment video. It's like women who want attention through posting naked pictures of themselfs and calling it female empowerment, its not, its exhibitionism.
And what about not to have your baby ? Father should have no say ? And in the last where she says My music, your noise, my virtue, your sins........
So that means only men should try to find middle ground or compromise ?

I said thats the only aspect i totally disagree with, idk what they were thinking when they even made the video, the sounded like they were not trying to empower women but convert them into sluts. Thats why almost all of the people have boycotted agaist the video(yeah well don't know about those hardcore feminists)

I have seen many women posting it on their FB wall. Some women do agree with this apparently and we are narrow minded people to think this is wrong on some fronts....

I do have many lady friends and not even one agreed with their view of empowerment. Those who actually agree with it not wants empowerment, they just want a free pass to do whatever the heck they want to.

1. At first I thought she meant before marriage, but this was a separate statement directly afterwards. It's your choice to be a shitty person and cheat on the one you love, but you're not going to be in my life and I won't respect you. Cheating is reserved for scum, man or woman. Just don't complain about being judged once you go down this road.
2. "To have your baby..." It takes two to make a baby. I might get crucified for this statement, but both should have a say. It shouldn't turn into some legal weapon (as custody is sometimes).
3. Wtf does this mean? Is she seriously suggesting that cheating is empowering? I mean, yea it's your choice. But so is lying to a close friend, or backing out on your word. Both of which don't end well for you. I would hope that she makes the right choices, but if she's suggesting cheating should be free from judgement, no just no. This will end with you being unempowered, not because you're a woman, but because you're a bad person.
4. Perspectives! Don't surround yourself with people who don't like what you do. No problems here, sounds like great lyrics actually. *Note* don't expect a lot of people to compromise with you being a cheating subhuman though, if this is included in her statement.
Overall, I'm not sure about some of her suggestions. If she's suggesting that it's empowering to have the choice to cheat, then there's a problem. We all have choices to lie, steal, cheat, etc. Nobody is free from judgement or empowered if you make the scummy ones, so I'm not sure why they're brought up.

2) In most countries women have to right to have a baby or not, irrespective of any reasons. It is her right. I feel that if the couple is married and *** was consentual, and there are no medical complications, then the opinion of both should matter
4) Compromises have to made. By both the people. Why should Women Empowerment mean men have to tolerate them and not the other way around?

Agreed on 2. Largely contextual, but man and woman should have the choice in a general sense. There's not really enough time to get into the nitty gritty here of everything.
Agreed on 4. This particular statement I was fine with out of context, because of my personal philosophy. I agree with what you're saying though. This whole video seems to have an undertone completely ignoring personal responsibility. If a woman cheats, it shouldn't be the husband that's a fool, it should be the woman who's a bad person. Women in the first world have plenty of choices. Freedom from your choices is a right not granted to any person, man or woman.
