I can 100% tell that none of you are really big hip-hop fans because anybody that is a really big hip-hop fan meaning its the only genre they listen too, without even thinking about it would know that eminem isn't even in Pac's or Notorious' league

These three can't even be compared because eminem pales in comparison. Eminem is nowhere near their level at all, like at all!
Who are you to say that, my personal fave is Eminem among those three, the whole thing about who is the best simply hinges on your opinion, you can't say people aren't real hip hop fans just cuz they compare Eminem to Biggie and Pac...

Eminem is better than both. His music is more diverse and his rhyme schemes are more complex. Tupac was regarded as the best when he was alive because he was one of the few then to keep it real. He helped gangster rap blow up, but did it in more than the "I kill niggaz!" way, he was poetic with it and showed the darker side to being a G, the struggles that come with it. That's why he was regarded as the best then. But people nowadays will say he's the best and don't know what it is that caused him to be regarded as the best, they just ****ing say it because older people who really know why say it and they think that's make them cool and hip to HH. Ask any kid nowadays why Pac is the best, all they'll say is he's a G and can't go deeper.

Eminem, IMO, is better because he showed us true darkness, was versatile, had wicked rhyme schemes and way deeper and emotional songs.
Oh god this,

Eminem is loads better,

Tupac is second he's pretty dope

Biggie is not that good really, only thing he's got going for him is flow...Lyrics don't make sense at times and are way too simple

Most of opinions of Eminem are biased because he's white... Most of the white people I talk to, when i ask them if they like rap, they say only eminem.... LOL, then the same people call him king of rap, and stereotype others... smh

A friend and are arguing about this. He says that Eminem is often regarded as the best to ever do it. But so are Tupac and Biggie. In fact, Tupac and Biggie often get paired together as being the best two, without anyone ever really mentioning Eminem. And he thinks Eminem is more so regarded as the best ever only when he's brought up. Example:

1: "Eminem just dropped a new song"
2: "Oh man he's the greatest all time"

But when it's Tupac and Biggie

1: "Yo who's the best rapper ever?"
2: "Idk man but it's gotta be between Biggie and Pac"

He says that while Eminem has the respect of many fans both black and white, he still has that "white boy rapper" stigma and is rarely ever seriously considered the best, which is why you don't really hear him come up in the same conversation as Biggie and Pac.

Well I personally think Eminem is better (my friend doesn't) so I'm wondering, who in your opinion is the best rapper ever?
None of those are the best, and who's more popular depends on the area your asking the question usually. Biggie=East coast, Pac=West coast, Slim=some here and there.

There are tons of rappers who are "better" than all of those guys, Pac and Big just got martyred so their names get thrown around like some kind of holy grail. I like all 3 but Big L is better than most of their entire catalogues and he only had one album. Celph Titled is way sicker than Em with the punchlines. Slug can paint a much more vivid picture with his songs than Pac or Em. Biggie's honestly probably my least favorite of the three and not really high on my list of favorites in general though I like some of his stuff.

Above these 3 are
Big Pun
Big L
R.A. The Rugged Man
Vinnie Paz
Apathy
Celph Titled
Eyedea
Slug
Immortal Technique
Raekwon
Ghostface Killa
Nas
Ill Bill(over Biggie and Pac =Em)

You right but it is all based on opinion but if you went up to any music manager or anybody within the world of hip-hop/rap music and asked who is better between the three they will look at you like you're stupid for including Eminem. Because he's just not on their level and thats nothing but the truth, and believe me I like Eminem but there's just no way.

Finally somebody with an actual argument >_>

I agree completely with what you said about Tupac and kids nowadays not knowing why he is revered as the Prophet and such but when it comes to your last statement I would have to 100% disagree. True darkness? Versatile? Deeper? Tupac rapped about his own murder before it happened, with songs like "Dear Momma" Tupac showed us a new side to gangsta rapping, Eminem had a few great deep songs such as "Stan" but when he wasn't being a good rapper he was ranting and raving about who knows what. Especially during his 'Relapse' phase which was when I think he personally fell off. Eminem might be the best out of this generation but thats only because he's still rapping but take it back to his debut era and he was nowhere near the best. If you compare Eminem's accomplishments to Notorious' or Makaveli he just doesn't compare

Its tough to really rank them cause you can't really rank hip hop you can just sort out the people who Get it, and the people who don't get it.
Everyone is good at their own style.... everyone Does something that other rappers can't, if a rapper has something that makes him unique and is talented, then they are Considered great.
