1)What is a Shinobi?
A shinobi is an individuals who for a fee will perform missions so their respective villages survive. These missions include doing manual labour, escorting people, retreiving information and even assissanations. Shinobi are also their villages main source of protection and in times of war, shinobi are the people who protect their villages against attacks from other villages and rogue ninja. A shinobi is easily noticed because of their ability to manipulate chakra.
2) What is chakra?
Chakra is the moulding of physical energy(which is present in every cell in the body) and spiritual energy(which comes from the mind). Once chakra control is mastered, it allows you to do amazing things such as walk on water, run up trees, exhale fire and even put people in an illusionary state.
3) Tell me about shape and nature manipulation
• Shape Manipulation - is having the ability to make your chakra take different forms, sizes and objects. Once it is mastered, you will be able to shape you chakra into anything you desire, dragons, sword, kunai .etc
• Nature Manipulation - is the ability to mix you nature affinity with you raw chakra to create a elemental chakra, once you master nature manipulation, you will be able to perform jutsus that are connected with your nature affinity. It allows you to perform water, fire, earth, wind and lightning based jutsus

The Lightning paralyses the target so that they are unable to move and are vulnerable to another attack. Lightning can also be infused into kunai and even swords for increased piercing power.
Relationship with other Elements
• Strengths - lightning is strong against earth because it can easily break through ground

As I hear senpai speak I listen carefully to everything I understand it a lot better now senpai, thank you for explaining it in more detail
finally I will learn my first jutsu
As senpai throws the 1st disc, I close my eyes and hold out my right hand while focusing on moulding my chakra into lightning chakra. I imagine my chakra being sharp and small but I can't change the shape properly as it is so violent, I open my eyes and shoot the bolt of lightning from my right hand, it hits the disc, shattering it into pieces. Senpai quickly throws the second disc and this this I react much faster as I hold out my right hand once again but this time I don't close my eyes as I watch the disc, I concentrate on moulding my chakra into lightning chakra and visualize short thin bolts of lightning, I release my chakra from my hand as I target the second disc, i hit it and this 1 also shatters into pieces. I repeat it 3 more times until I complete hitting all 5 discs.
ADVANTAGES
•it doesn't take a long time to perform
•you don't have to be close to the opponent to hit him
•you don't have to perform handseals
DISADVANTAGES
•it isn't very powerful
•can be easily countered by a higher rank ninja
CREATIVE USES
•Throw a kunai at your opponent and as he is trying to dodge the kunai you can use this technique.
•if you are able to perform Fuuton then you can use a technique to increase the speed of this jutsu to reach your opponent faster
COUNTERS
•a fuuton attack of the same rank could easily blow this attack away
•earth techniques of a higher rank can cancel out this jutsu

I hold out my right hand in front of me, I begin to mould my chakra into my arm and begin to nature manipulate my chakra by turning it into Raiton chakra. I continue moulding my chakra until I slam my hand on the ground releasing my Raiton chakra onto the ground directing it towards senpai
ADVANTAGES
• This technique doesn't require a lot of chakra so you will be able to use it even when you have less chakra
• It also doesn't take a long time to perform and to will be able to catch tour opponent of guard with it
• Since it is short range it doesn't give your opponent a lot of time to counter it
DISADVANTAGES
• Since it is short range it can also be a disadvantage because if it is countered then you are open to an attack
• Because it is on the ground your opponent could leap into the air or back to avoid it
CREATIVE USES
• If you are able to use shadow clones, you could use this technique from multiple angles
• If you are exhausted from a long battle you could use this technique to by you some time by forcing your opponent back

There is a faint glow from underneath her clothes, indicating that she was wearing her armor underneath. She shudders slightly at the sensation and shakes it off, energy crackling around her.
(I did that for RP purposes. Don't do that in a real battle or you'll get called on it XD )

As for your question, you will maintain the surge of lightning as long as your hand is connected to the ground, meaning the Lightning will flow from your hand, through the ground, to your opponent as long as you channel lightning chakra. If you stop, the surge will stop as well."

thanks for explaining it, I will be able to perform it better now that I know how it works but on to the next jutsu for now
I put my right hand at my side as I start gathering my chakra into it, I start to mould my chakra while using nature manipulation to turn my chakra into Raiton chakra, I continue adding chakra and manipulating it till it is enough for me to release my chakra, I then open my fist and and swing my hand in front of me releasing my Raiton chakra through my palm, I release multiple Raiton bolts at senpai
ADVANTAGES
• This technique could be used to hit multiple targets when you can perform it properly
• It doesn't take a lot of chakra but could be very effective
• Since you release multiple bolts, even if you miss you target with some you could still hit him
DISADVANTAGES
• Because you are releasing mulitiple bolts one after another, it wouldn't be very strong so a Doton wall may be able to block it
• If you are not good at controlling the technique you could miss completely and leave yourself open to an attack
CREATIVE USES
• With a couple shadow clones, you could hit you target multiple times
• Because you are releasing bolts and are not in contact with the jutsu, could could possibly through kunai or shuriken at your opponent after you complete this technique
COUNTERS
• I would use a Fuuton technique to blow the technique away and follow that up with a Suiton jutsu

• This technique could be used to hit multiple targets when you can perform it properly
• It doesn't take a lot of chakra but could be very effective
• Since you release multiple bolts, even if you miss you target with some you could still hit him
DISADVANTAGES
• Because you are releasing mulitiple bolts one after another, it wouldn't be very strong so a Doton wall may be able to block it
• If you are not good at controlling the technique you could miss completely and leave yourself open to an attack
CREATIVE USES
• With a couple shadow clones, you could hit you target multiple times
• Because you are releasing bolts and are not in contact with the jutsu, could could possibly through kunai or shuriken at your opponent after you complete this technique
COUNTERS
• I would use a Fuuton technique to blow the technique away and follow that up with a Suiton jutsu
