I agree that he went off topic, but half the world thinks that the US goverment took advantage of the 9/11 attacks. Not because they were an American goverment... just because they are politicians.
Check the recorded evidence and you'll see that as soon as the Amercian Navy was in Irak, the Museum had no US guards to keep unvaluable treasures that belonged to MANKIND, as the first writtings man ever made. But the oil digs were all very well guarded.
Sorry to go off subject. But if you are going to ban people for having other ideas you'll have to ban half the world. Of course, the attack was a disgrace, needless to say. The one on the Towers and the one on Irak.

the only reason he chose palin was to get the womens vote, but he probebly picked the worst possible choice, and probebly lost most of the womens vote, lol.
McCain is pretty crappy. And Palin is an airhead that was never meant to leave Alaska. what would she know about running a country that she has been cut off from by thousands of miles? And McCain keeps saying that "Obama wants to raise taxes" when Obama clearly states that he wants to lower taxes for people who make under 250,000 dollars. That's like 90% of the population. That's a great policy. Rich people dont pay much taxes and it wouldnt hur them much anyway if they had their taxes raised a little.

rich people pay plenty of taxes. the thing is, if their taxes get raised a lil bit, they don't have to wory about where the next meal is coming from or if they'd be able to afford to send their kids to college and so fourth. what obama wants to do is take more from the haves then the have nots. allowing for more gov't funded programs structured to help out the people who really need the help in the long run and not just for the imediate future.
that sort of mindset wil help our children in the future by putting less of a financial bourdon on them when they get older. it's basically planning for the next generation. or your generation depending on your age.

not realy. the top 5 percent of this country( the rich) pay about half(if not more) of total taxes per year.
edit: the kicker is, they get an enormous about of tax money back at the end of the yer.

well from what i can tell from reading everyones post i can conclude that most of you jump on the bandwagon, I personally think that neither McCain Plattafrom or Obama platafform will help the country any! with both the US is screwed the question is with which one the country is less screwed. Obama wants to lower taxes and increase government spending. Now the US is highly in debt with almost everyone now lowering taxes and increased spending will just increased that debt with an increased debt in this market economy will cause a real devastation. Economy is going down the hill and will be like that for at least another 9 months or so with more and more ppl losing their jobs and going into workers comp or welfare due to the lack of jobs there is, this is where the part becomes tricky. no jobs no money no spending but more government spending on programs to keep ppl alive, more government spending less taxation percentage and less taxation of workable population less money for government to sustain itself. Now corporations are corporations and they will seek a better place for business where labor is cheap if u don't give them an incentive to stay in the US then they will go abroad and thus will increased the unemployment percentage in the states.
as for McCain although he offers more solutions to such problem they are worthless as well. Not to say that his life span is short and we will be left with Palin which will be another jimmy carter. just a pretty face fucking up the nation. McCain stand on the War will drain the economy as well, as more spending on guns, metal, oil have to be done to ship overseas and look out for the troops over there while civilians in the states are going trough really bad times.
the way i think it either way the country is screwed, it would have been better of with Ron Paul as his solutions where the best for everything! and going back to what the constitution always stated will be the best, not much of government overlooking over everything it wants

just by reading your post i asume that you have some sort of compitence and analyze everything and think with your head not with your feelings i commend you for your post
also i want to say all the posts in here are great but this thread is flawed because nobody will have the same opinion as you thats a fact of like and you cant change someones mind once it is made up most people are hellbent that there way is the right way lets just remember this

here is my 2 cents: Obama is who I am voting for. I have read his plan online and it looks defently better than McCain's. Even though he has Sarah Palin for a VP,that does not mean a thing to me. I can't stand her and what he record is so far. I must be one of the few that does research before I vote : ) I like some of the opinions in here
