We all already know that eventually the SH are going to head to Elbaf, part of Ussop's dream is to go there afterall. But there is more foreshadowing for Elbaf. I don't know whether many of u remember this, but Robin's childhood friend Saul was a D., infract according to him everyone in his family (which is part of a race of gentle giants) are D's and as we know D's exist to inherit the will of those who came before them.

It kinda makes me wonder whether Saul's time with Robin was part of D's will and if so what could be the will that was passed on through Saul's bloodline?

Thoughts ???

EDIT: I also forgot to mention that that arc will most likely involve the revival of the Elbaf Pirates :|

What? No.

That fact that Jaguar D. Saul looks like feline needs to be explained, because up until now, all "D's" have been shown to be human.

It has also been stated that giants are the result of the world government's experiments on people back the void century. Frankly, giants in OP have undoubtedly been given too much panel time - they hold no significant wight to the story, and it would be great if Oda never touched the Elbaf topic.

Now i know tht Oda WILL touch on the Elbaf arc bcoz frankly, if its the dream of one of the Straw Hats, then it defo will happen.

Plus we hv dwarves and Skypeians, so why not giants?

It was stated that trying to recreate Giants has been an ongoing project of the WG, but I don't think it ever stated that the WG created them :|

Besides that if Giants have tie ins to the history of OP then I wanna see it

It will most definitely be a major arc for several reasons:

-Usopp is likely to gain courage here and become a brave warrior of the sea, this is one of the plots main factors that has existed since his introduction over 760 chapters ago
-It will give Giants great character development as a species on the whole, so far we've only see them get fodderized or in freak cases like Sanjuan Wolf
-It's possible (although unlikely) we will see one of (or both of, if their dual is concluded without death) Dorry and Broggy, love those guys, Hajrudin, Oimo and Kashi are also likely to be quite important too

Here's something interesting about Elbaf:
-Elbaf Spelt backwards is Fable
-Fables are magical stories or adventures
-If the About Big Mom is correct she may be a key player in the arc
-The word fable also implies that Giants aren't the only non-human residents -> Minkmen, Dwarves etc?

I was actually thinking about a Elbaf Arc just the other day. If anything I really want to see this arc happen. Giants have been given such significant roles throughout the series , it would suck if all that hype went to waste. Besides I think it would be a rather interesting arc , personally I'm curios about their living environment , would be pretty cool if everything is gigantic , probably making normal humans look like ants. And the fact that Oda is giving the Arc this late means that theirs undoubtedly strong giants , maybe ones with DF powers as well.

I never realized Elbaf = Fable, but for some reason rather than Big Mam it all puts me in the mind of Vikings. Ya know the whole warrior mentality, the savage reputation, the honor codes. It makes me think that we might get a legend that ties in to the Giants' roots

There might also be some strange creatures too, that would befit a land of legend.

Still I never gave the Hansel and Gretal thing any thought. Big Mam fits that role perfectly

Who said they had to take on giants? That's like saying every animal living on earth is forever fighting humans
It's a place of legend inhabited by warrior Vikings. It's only right to think that if there are Giant beasts that a Viking would fight them to achieve fame
