Whitebeard was an abnormally large human, roughly five times the size of a normal human. Unlike other large-sized humans, however, he was well-proportioned. He has a long face, ploughed because of the advanced age with many wrinkles around his eyes, and is very muscular. He has many scars running on his chest.He wears a black bandanna around his head and adorned himself with a white coat which hung loosely from his broad shoulders.He is always seen bare-chested, and wears light, loose pants tucked inside his large boots, and a dark sash around his waist.

Although from what other people saw of him, he may have seemed to have an overgrown ego, deep down he knew that he was nothing but a single man, and was fully aware of his own mortality. He knew that the youth are the keys to the future, and that their lives are more important than his own.Among his philosophies in life was that it is fine when a man decides what to make of his life, as long as he doesn't live to regret it.A distinguishing feature of Whitebeard's nature was his high moral standards. Background Info.
History:
Whitebeard was born in Amegakure, to a pair of Shinobi parents. As a child,Whitebeard left Amegakure and was enrolled in Iwa’s Shinobi Academy, where he met his best friend ~Faith~; the two would remain friends during their enrollment and would go on to be partners, and Faith one of the people Whitebead respected, in the future.
During their time at the Academy, in addition to being friends, ~Faith~ and Whitebead were partners – they would fight each other endless to train, to better themselves – to become stronger. After graduating, both left the Academy and trained under various shinobi and Whitebeard went on to become acquaintances with the likes of Kaze, Scarface, ZeroGaara, and others.
Hearing of a powerful clan, the Kyioshi, Edward Newgate decides to seek them out – with a farewell to those few he respects and considers friends, he left Iwagakure.
During his travels to Konohagakure, Edward met a powerful shinobi – Kirabi. After a slight skirmish, in which Whitebeard was defeated by powerful Raiton techniques that he had never seen before, Kirabi introduced him to the powers of Lightning, showing him how to harness some of its power. After the introduction to electricity, both Shinobi went on their way – Whitebeard back to his quest for the Kyioshi, and Kirabi to attend to his own agenda.
Weeks later, Edwards finally arrives at his destination – the Village Hidden in the Leaves. After weeks of searching the great village, Edward came across Roku by chance and –after much pleading- Roku accepted him into the Kyioshi clan to teach him their ways.
For nearly three years, Edward was a part of the Kyioshi clan, training under the great Caliburn. He was taught the ways of the Kyioshi, until he himself had the power that the Clan brought to him.
After completing the training, he left the Clan to roam the world, gathering information and sending it back to Iwagakure, though not exactly working for his old home.
During his stent as a “Rouge” Shinobi, he met the traveling teach, Scary Yamato. Scary Yamato decided he liked the young whitebeard and trained him. Edward traveled with Scary Yamato during his training, learning from his Sensei and helping him in his antics as he trained him in Doton, Katon, and Ration (usually having some troublesome even happen in correspondence with their training, such as accidently causing a whole town to sink into a large swamp). They even created a whole new element together,which they would call later on Amber release.
After nearly a year of traveling with the Sensei who had also become a close friend, Edward bid him a heartfelt farewell as Whitebeard’s own travels would take him to Kirigakure next, while Scary Yamato’s plans where to head back to Konohagakure.
In Kirigakure, Edward felt a certain kinship with the battle crazed, blood-lusting residents. There, after proving himself in a large tournament between fighters from all Nations, a Sensei known as “The Seven-Scaled Boy” grew impressed with Edward’s potential, and took him under his wings – teaching him the arts of the Shinobi, as well as how to fight in unarmed combat.
After harsh training in the land that took its warriors seriously, Whitebeard decided it was finally time to return to his homeland after several years.
His reunion with his comrades and friends was great – ale flowed freely between the group for several days, before Edward finally took up his post as a Shinobi of Iwagakure and attended his duties.
One night, when Edward and ~Faith~ were patrolling the outskirts of Iwagakure, they came across of pair of traveling Swordsman – an adult who had a young girl with him and had a case of katana strapped to his back, and a younger man who wore a sword of foreign style on his hip.
Whitebeard and ~Faith~ drew their katana and leapt with a yell at the swordsman. The younger one – brown hair and blue eyes – drew his sword and fought with the two Shinobi as the older man stayed behind.
To their disbelief and horror, the teenager was not only fighting the two Shinobi, but winning. After several minutes, ~Faith~ and Edward lay on the ground, their swords cut in half, with the boy – who identified himself as Keotsu – standing over them, his sword glinting in the moonlight.
Impressed by the young man’s skill, the two Shinobi asked Keostu to instruct them in the Way of the Sword – Keotsu, after talking with the older man and learning that they would be around for a couple of weeks, agreed, and took the two men under his wing.
Now, after having been enlightened to the Way of the Sword, Edwards continues to serve Iwagakure – his story has yet to truly begin…

Whitebeard always carries scrolls with hundreds of different kind of weapons sealed inside.However he carries on two weapons outside the scrolls.One is his sword,which is wrapped around his hip.The other is his Bisento.Whitebeard fought with a heavy halberd called a bisento, and iss immensely skilled with it.He usually employed the bisento using both hands, but was also seen capable of using it proficiently with just one hand. Most of the time he kept it in his right hand, and sometimes he was seen planting its blade in the ground, in order to use both of his hands freely.
Hand-to-Hand combat
Due to his amazing physical abilities,he can easily defeat many enemies with just one punch.He has a surprisngly fast speed even though he has such a large body.Also,he learned differenbt styles of taijutsu,which he usually combines to create new and useful attacks.
Kyioshi
After begging RokuNR to teach him the kyioshi arts,Roku decided he would let Edward enter the clan and that he would become Caliburn's first student.Caliburn trained him really hard anda taught him how to create and control energy or pure chakra,but his training is still going on due to Edwards abilities of using energy being limited.
