Edward fought with a polearm called a bisento, and was immensely skilled with it. The weapon's size is massive, fitting that of its owner, with a striped pole ending in a spherical edge, and a curved, large blade attached to the pole via a golden part, decorated by what looks like a sea snake, with a thin part of it protruding on the blade itself.
Edaward usually employed the bisento using both hands, but was also seen capable of using it proficiently with just one hand. Most of the time he kept it in his right hand, and sometimes he was seen planting its blade in the ground, in order to use both of his hands freely for his Jutsu.

In his younger days, he had no scars on his chest, donned an open vest, and his trademark mustache was nonexistent. Later in his life, he grew the prominent crescent-shaped mustache, which would spawn his epithet, "Whitebeard". When he was 52, he wore a yellow and blue pirate hat with his jolly roger on it over a black bandana with black and red, both worn over long, blond flowing hair he had back then.
Whitebeard was an abnormally large human, roughly 2 times the size of a normal human. Unlike other large-sized humans, however, he was well-proportioned. He had a long face, ploughed because of the advanced age with many wrinkles around his eyes, and was very muscular. He had many scars running along his chest; one, in particular, he got from Roger. Like all of his men, he had his own Jolly Roger tattooed on his back. In the anime, his eye color is seen to be yellow.

Background Info.
History: Edward was an orphan for as long as he can remember, He was constantly alone because of his freakishly large height from such a young age.
He was unloved by everyone in the village and everyone scolded him for the mischief he would cause, but it was never Edward, he was always bullied from a young age and was just always in the wrong place at the wrong time.
As he grew older nothing changed and he could not deal with the constant loneliness, as he tried to leave the village he came across a Sharingan Sage named Akiza. She tried to persuade him to stay as she knew that one day this man would posses great power.
Edward was determined to leave as the village never showed him any love and neglected him, forgetting that he didnt graduate from ninja academy he barely had any training, so before he left he begged the sage to teach him in the arts of Taijutsu, the Sage agreed to do it for him as a last Favor.
Later on in Life Edward Grew More Larger until he dwarfed the normal size of a man, and his long blonde hair began to fall out and he began to grow a long Whitebeard, and the more people he began to meet, and the more deeds he did people began to call him Whitebeard. That's where his nickname comes from.
Edward grew strong and gained many subordinates and formed the Whitebeard's - a gang of formidable people who would do anything that would be paid for at a high price, Edward wasn't a Criminal, or a Hero. He was just

On Edwards Journey He has met many great senei's but is now only starting to study & train under them,Edward thinks of his subordinates as brothers & sons and mean a great deal of importance to him as they are the family that he never had. From time to time Edwards gets homesick, even tough there is nothing left for him In Konoha Edward says that he will return and Become a great deal of Importance . . . . . . . . . Either that or he Joins the Akatsuki xd (Future)
