I would advise reading the manga all the way through everything is easily explained

orochimaru knew nothing about rds until it was used against him and hiruzen learned the rds from minato who as you can see is dead so there isnt anyone alive to possibly explain what might happen if there was an attempt to bring them back to life

anyway stop assuming stuff without even knowing whats going on in the manga it makes you look stupid

hmm what's your problem ?? i simply asked for an explanation, forgot a couple of things and a couple of the guys helped me out ......... if you think that knowing anime makes you smart then ........ then i don't know what to say to you ......... that attitude.

im pretty sure it works like this. Hiruzen, did not know about all the requirements for edo tensei(as it was a forbidden technique) He did not know that edo tensei could not pull minatos soul out of the reapers stomach. Oro had no idea about the death god seal until after the fight.

So both ninjas, did not know about how the jutsus would interact with each other till after they were both used.


Orochimaru realized the 4th didnt come because he was sealed, and then figured that to summon him(and get his arms back) he would have to undo the reaper seal.

Hiruzen probably realized why minato didnt come back later in the fight.

And as said by others, the hokages were not full strength in the fight, so they were able to be controlled by oro.

Hiruzen had no of knowing what was gonna be in the third coffin, so why would he just let it be summoned
