Alright, I guess I'll give my position on this. To say Kabuto isn't allowed to use his edo tensai in a "1v1" match is like saying a shinobi must come to the battle field without their weapons or tools already prepared at their hip. A shinobi's jutsu and techniques are their tools. Minato's FTG tags are allready prepared in every vs fight we see with him. Obviously he has all his kunai pre set with the seals on there. By the logic of the OP Kabuto doesnt get prep time because it's not manga. In that case, Minato doesn't get his ftg tags on his kunai before a battle and he must put the sealing formula on each of the tags, or Kabuto cannot have all the abilities of the sound four because those are variables that have been pre-set before the start of the battle that we automatically assume those people have. with Edo Tensai we automatically assume he has those sacrifices and Summons pre set because they're tools he's brought to the battle prepared, just like any other shinobi would.
It makes absolutly no sense to say he cannot have the summons already prepared because every shinobi has weapons prepared from basic, rudamentary explosives, knives, kunai, etc, etc to high class ranking jutsu Everybody has a certian level of preparations with them.
Long story short, this is hardly proof that edo tensai cannot be used in a 1v1 fight for the simple theory of every ninja having prepared tools, edo tensai happening to be a prepared tool for Kabuto therefore to restrict him would be to restrict everybody unless hypocritical. This is not fanboism, this is rather common sense.
if edo tensai is a prep required jutsu, how the hell will kabuto use it without having prep time in a 1v1????
