I have a question. People keep saying Orochimaru has 4 ex Hokage as a summoning but so does anybody who knows the edo tensei jutsu and has their DNA, AKA sleeping Kabuto. My question is if 2 people summon the same person with Edo Tensei what happens? Does the first summoner keep him, does the second summoner take him, are there now two edos of one person?

Good question, I believe the first one would get him. If they do it at the same time I guess it won't work at all.

The soul is being taken from the "afterlife world". if it is not there, then it won't work. If someone already ETed someone, he can't be summoned as his soul is not "available".

If it's done at the same time, no idea. Either random or not working at all.

Since there is only one soul, I guess the first one to summon it gets it. If their soul is not in the pure world, you cannot summon them.

And Edo them at the same time..Maybe it depends on who is using the jutsu? The stronger one might get it.

The first person will keep them. A summon works by teleporting them from their homeplace to the user. Since the user has already got them, they're no longer at 'home'.

That's a good question but you need the person's soul to animate the body. The soul can only inhabit one body at a time, I would think, you can't really have half a soul can you? So I guess the first person would get the soul and the next would get an error message.

Remember who lost their hands and arms cuz they got sealed up so maybe you can have "parts" of your soul so maybe you could do like one summon with the top half of the body and the other summon with the bottem half. Which would suck because only the side with the head can really do anything I would guess, unless you control it like a puppet! OMG imagine that! Like Madara's foot is coming at you! That would still be scary I bet it could still kick my ass good!

There is only one soul of a human body. (except Orochimaru. I wonder he even a soul or not)
If two users uses Edo Tensei on same person then
The one who made the hand sign and activated the jutsu first will have the person
But also if the other user activates the jutsu, the soul will be under his possession unless and until the first user puts the bindings into the Edo person(the kunai tagged with the bindings into their head). As long as the person's soul is not bound to any seal, it can move from one living body to another through ET.

It would be impossible for the second summoner to get it because the summoning's soul has already been bound to the dead body by the first summoner's jutsu

I assume it's like people have already said, if someone is already edo'd, then their soul is in the living world, therefore it can't be summoned again. I don't think two people can summon the same soul at the same time. I would assume it would go to the person who was a split second faster, since time is very hard to synchronize, I don't really see how it can be done at Exactly the same time. If somehow they managed that, then it probably wouldn't work at all. All of this is speculation of course.

Kurama only had half a soul didn't he? I say had because now that the RDS is broken Kurama's chakra should also be released a long with the 4th. YAYYYYY FULL POWERED NARUTO/KURAMA.

chapter 618 shows nothing about the souls traveling for all any of us know only a portion of their souls could have traveled to a body. Also During Edo tensei aren't the original bodies "created" from the sacrifice, it's not like the original body is needed. If you have two sacrifices why couldn't you split a soul into two pieces and have two reincarnated bodies? Logically they would be weaker than a whole Edo, but nothing rules it out of possibilty.

Also people saying the one who did the jutsu first would get it, does strength not play a part? Tobirama created the Jutsu however Oro and Kabuto both have made advances on it, If one of them were to do the Edo after Tobirama, can you say for certain their power would not steal the Edo soul?

Kurama and the other bijuus are just a living form of chakra. When Minato sealed away Kurama, the shinigami was able to take away half of Kurama's chakra and not his soul.
