What do you mean counter the EMS techniques?? I don't see him countering Perfect Susanoo.

Until now Hiruzen is all hype and nothing more. We might see what he can do in the near future (or not )

Well, I mean, it was stated twice that the Five Kage's combined efforts are nothing compared to Hashirama. And it was also stated that Hashirama is above DSM Kabuto, EMS Sasuke, Obito, BM Naruto, etc.

For Hiruzen to be above Hashirama, he'd have to beat that. Which he doesn't.

As far as we know, EMS Madara > Hiruzen's prime (as shown when it was said that only Hashirama can stop Madara, but the person was referring to EMS Madara), and Hashirama was stronger than EMS Madara.

So, no.

Unfortunately, this is not Prime Hiruzen. It’s Old Hiruzen, which means he is still suffering physical deterioration due to old-age. Remember, Hanzo lost to Mifune because he stopped honing his skills when he was still alive- Edo Tensei didn’t change that. And while Hiruzen doesn’t have to worry about dying do to nature of Edo Tensei, he is still limited to the same chakra reserves he had before he died i.e. he can’t use jutsus that require more chakra than he currently has, even though he might know them/could use them in his prime (look at Muu and the 2nd mizukage).Unless, of course, Kishi retcons it.

Old Hiruzen, as you said, is still strong- just not Madara strong. He can definitely be more reckless now that he knows he can't die.Time to acknowledge greatness and get new feats.

I never argued about his joints. Yes they won't feel painful, but that wouldn't make them better. That is assuming he had joint problems which I never argued.

Look at his posture, look at his body he's not in the same physical state that he was in when he was younger. Are you seriously arguing that if you remove the pain and increase stamina you would be in the best shape?

His muscles atrophied from lack of use and from old age, no matter how much energy he has he won't perform as well as he used to.
