plot is beside the point, he's just that kind of ninja had the story been about another character i don't think narutos story would change givin he wouldn't be as powerful or as important as the main charcter, but as far as who he is or what hes capable of wouldn't, and like i we don't know anything about his new powers so speculating that he can't seal anything is the same as speculating that he can.
