Edo deidara vs minato

... and wouldn't happen to have any sealing tags with him ...

The man's not an idiot - I'm sure he'd find out real fast that Edo's can't be killed - then he would either use a sealing jutsu on him, or, provided he doesn't know any (which is ridiculous but whatever), he would retreat and grab some sealing tags.

When he returns, Deidara will grab some clay to make bombs, and get sealed far before he's finished rummaging in his bag.

It is a FACT that he was a genius and it is a FACT that sealing tags exist. (also I doubt Minato jumped straight to high-class sealing jutsus during his training ...)

I know it's "speculation" but so is this whole battle! It is "speculation" that Deidara would be able to make and explode a bomb in time ... lets not go there, shall we? xd

Anyway, as mentioned before, this thread is really as pointless as EMS Sasuke threads because "well we don't know all his abilities"

Well first off Minato and the 2nd have a similar tech, the ground sensing move. this right here would mean that the 2nd has taught Minato. The 2nd made edo tensei, which means at some time or another Minato came across this tech, and not to mention Minato is a fuinjutsu master, and he's faster than Deidara, do you see where this is going?

You forgot Deidara made a clay clone when the Sauce stabbed him,so he does the same with Minato and...........he's still alive and Minato gets blasted to smithereens

It's not like Deidara is limited to flying where the kunai's are reachable,he can simply fly further upwards

Minato is a genius. If it's mano-a-mano fight, there is noway minato would loose. he will find a way to defeat deidara. just take a look "Sasuke VS Deidara". Deidara is emotional, but minato, is the most genius shinobi ever.

Minato can't deflect explosions I don't believe and deidara can fly high in the air with his clay bird so Idk if minato can throw his Kunai that high up or it even be effective seeing as how deidara can blow the bird up when he's up there leaving minato to fall on the ground from very high with no ftg

at worse it would be minato retreating from deidara's suicide boom.
