To think that something like this can happend out of nowhere and over night, and hit you like a bus in the morning over there. Damn those disasters, prayers go to everyone.

I will pray for them. Man life I hope most people are okay. Let their souls r.i.p and ask for them to go to a peaceful place preferable heaven. I know many people have different backgrounds but give their families the strength to go on the ones that are lost and the ones who are lost but still alive be found.

Also help those who have an alert coming their way

Heres some Al Jazeera coverage of the earthquake with helicopter footage of the tsunami.

Looks horrible, entire houses were being carried by the water like they were leaves. So far the death total is just at 32, which is incredibly low, but that number is sure to rise. Japan's worst previous quake was in 1923 in Kanto, an 8.3-magnitude temblor that killed 143,000 people, according to USGS. A 7.2-magnitude quake in Kobe city in 1996 killed 6,400 people.

My prayers go out to Japan.

Just a little more info regarding the power of this last earthquake...

Using the information Lord Danzo provided I'll give you numbers that explain the power we are talking about compared to the previous 1996 quake.

Because earthquakes are rated on the Richter scale (a logarithmic scale) the difference between a 7.2 and an 8.9 is enormous...
The smallest (average) earthquake you can feel is a 3.0, I'll give that a number 10^3 or 1,000 ... next I'll give this earthquake a number 10^8.9 or 794,328,234.72 ... As you can see it is a little bigger. This equates to over 794,328.24 times stronger!
An 8.9 magnitude earthquake is over 50 times stronger than a 7.2...

If anyone can help Japan, please do, they are going to need it.

The world is coming apart.
In australia (Where I am) there was the queensland floods, lots killed and as soon as they were repairing, Cyclone Yasi occured. One of the top 10 most powerful cyclone.
Now Japan, an Earthquake that destroys buildings, killed many people, and triggered a tsunami.
The tsunami was nothing but an incredible wall of water forcing its way through japan, wiping everything in its path, taking away buildings like toys.
Lets pray for the japanese to stay strong and hold out through this terrable disaster.
