Meh. Japanese people are pros. when it comes to earthquakes. I saw it on the news, they were all chill, yet it's is little man can do when nature erupts. It is sad.

Seismologists reported that this earthquake was the strongest in Japan since 140 years. It exceeds in intensity the great Kanto earthquake of a magnitude of 7.9, which caused 140,000 deaths in the Tokyo area on September 1, 1923. In 1933, a magnitude 8.1 earthquake killed more than 3,000 people on the northeast coast. In 1995, the Kobe earthquake had a magnitude of 7.2 and killed more than 5,000 dead. It had caused then 100 billion dollars+ in damage, constituting the most expensive natural disaster in history.

Yeah, it's also being said that California regions might be hit by 2-5 metre wave (in like 5 hours) which is like water flowing and going on rampage for like 15 minutes.
I'm really anxious for Hawaii where wave images are really worrying...

Im in Indonesia and our country were in threat too,,but when reach my country the wave was weak..I hope the other countries are safe too so we just focus to give aid and pray for Japan..

hurray for being on the 3rd to last shinkansen out of tokyo when it hit. i didnt actually feel it at all which kinda weirded me out. def felt when the train slammed on its breaks(relatively). was lucky to get out though. all of the subways and shinkansens closed down and everyone is staying in the stations for the night
