With this first technique, I would assume you either exert your chakra into a loose spot of stone/earth or you create a small tremor by contact of your feet and ground, exerting chakra into that and creating the tremor to dislodge a stone/earth but I am going to go with the first thing I stated. By exerting your doton chakra into stone/earth, you can dislodge/shake/vibrate any piece of rock from any rock structure or any shinobi-made structure C rank or below. The result being the structure will fall on top of your opponent. I see this useful in any cave or under a mountain side.
Okay sooooo you would gather your chakra into your legs and exert it into the ground, weaving the tiger handseal and by manipulating your chakra in the ground, you will turn the ground into a muddy river which will throw your opponent off balance and carry them away from you which is good if you want or need space in battle.
If you're referring to this technique when asking if you think being on higher ground would make the technique more effective, yes, obviously. That is a basic rule of trajectory and logic, at my age. Something rolling down would have more force than something rolling up against gravity, given they have the same properties in speed which even if they didn't, depending in the margin of difference in speed, the object rolling down might still gather more momentum and speed than an object rolling up. Same with flowing liquids. And since it is chakra fueled, even the technique is performed on even ground, your chakra will still be pushing it forward, it would just take a lot more effort as opposed to just creating the technique and letting it flow itself or having it flow and then giving it a boost with your infused chakra.
I am offended easily. :|
Okay so after using the mud flow river, you will exert your doton chakra into the river of mud and after weaving the ram, horse and dragon handseals, using shape manipulation, you will form a dragon head out of the mud which spits high velocity mud globs at the opponent. As you have stated, when mixed with a C rank fire jutsu, it can become a fake lava jutsu.
As far as your teaching goes, I don't care. This way seems longer and I want to get this over with since earth is long as hell and it's the only element so far I have not completed and I am trying to hurry this up, honestly but you are the sensei so you may do what you think is best for me. However, I think having to over explain this stuff in unnecessary since I already know about basic shape manipulation (and if you think I don't, then I guess this way is better so you can correct me) and all of the side stuff you want me to explain now. It seems like this way would be best for new RPers, which I'm not, but again, I'm not the sensei. You are.
So whichever way you want to do this is fine with me.
