So, you want to learn earth, right?

Answer this question: what is earth?

Earth is the element that we all live on but it can be harnessed by chakra for defense or even attack.

Pretty much. Earth is life. Life arose from the earth billions of years ago. Wherever we go, earth, like life, is present. When we die, we return to the earth, and our bodies decompose into earth, etc., blah blah blah.

Mkay.

So, let's start with molding some earth chakra. You're going to want to get into a wide stance and imagine your chakra very slowly turning. Feel the earth beneath your feet - feel the world turning beneath you.

Let's start with the simplest earth jutsu:

(Doton: Gansetsukon) - Earth Release: Rock Staff

Description: This jutsu allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this jutsu allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

Use your earth chakra to carve a staff out of earth. You can use this jutsu to create a staff from a boulder, or you can create one from the ground beneath your feet.

Like I said, use your eartch chakra to carve a staff out of earth. Try it ^^

(Doton: Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu) - Earth Style: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique

Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user, emerging from the ground below the target area, pulls down the opponent so that only their head is above ground. Unable to move, the opponent can easily be decapitated or tortured.

First, you have to dig a hole and get in it. *tosses you a shovel* Get to it! xd

Then, focus earth chakra around your body, reach up, and pull your opponent (in this case a dummy of Hellsbadass) into the ground.

You have to focus the chakra around your whole body, and keep the chakra going until you exit the hole.

You can use the jutsu to raise yourself up out of harms way, raise your opponent up, whatever.

After making the handseals, focus earth chakra beneath your feet and use it to raise the earth up.

Description: The user creates spikes of earth that come up from the ground to stab the enemy.This jutsu can be made in a short or mid distace but the jutsu its self is made of a 6 foot radius of spikes.

Focus your earth chakra in the ground where you want the spikes to erupt. Then, bring your chakra up in the form of spikes.

This jutsu is best used when combined with a fast-moving jutsu so that your opponent is attacked from beneath and from their front at the same time.
