Personally, I don't like the way the media portrays this news because it makes all Christians look crazy, as if they actually believe what this man says. Harold Camping is a cultist leader who's followers are the only ones who believe that a biblical rapture is to occur on the set date of May 21, 2011 (you should see his reasoning and calculations...they're pretty half-@ssed). A vast majority of (I should say, all others outside of Camping's congregation) Christians do not believe the end is happening tomorrow, in fact. If Camping, a self-proclaimed Bible scholar, was not completely out there, he would realize that the Bible repeatedly states that nobody knows the day or the hour that the world is bound to end (particularly, the Day of the Lord, as stated in scripture, if I remember correctly).
I don't mind people criticizing this guy, but when they are ignorant and immediately assume that Camping's belief pertains to the other 99.99% of Christians in the world, it disappoints me. ~_~
