Perform the technique:*I start by weaving the snake hand-seal, gathering and moulding my chakra into the earth nature. I walk over to and place my left hand on your left shoulder(couldn't think up target to use this on lol), using my earth chakra to double your weight just to see what would happen. I see you struggling to move your body which, tells me that the test worked. I wait a while, until the effects wore off so, that we could continue on with the lesson.*
Creative uses/strengths: I would probably use this in a combo with mainly taijutsu or other earth techniques specifically earth techniques that are applied to do the body like the earth spear. If I want use this on the target I'll need to distract them or at least until they've been struck by an attack. I would also use this along with its counterpart the light weight rock to trick my opponent and keep him guessing.
Drawbacks/counters: Well my speed would decrease if I used it on myself if I wanted to strengthen for example the impact of my own punch. If I notice change in their chakra then, I should be on the alert but, either way if they come at me I'll just blast them away. I'll probably counter with lightning techniques such as plasma ball or nagashi.

Perform the technique:*After the wait I continue. I start by creating a shadow clone and then, proceed to use my earth chakra and to make my clone lighter, decreasing his weight by up to 5 times. I tell my clone to try it out and see what it was like. He then, starts jumping around, on and off of the trees and rocks. He was moving faster than normal and jumping higher than before but, when he tried to punch the large rock in front of him, nothing happened not even a crack.*
Creative uses/strengths: I would use this in a combo with the earth spear and four legged technique. I'll close distances between myself and the target although its better to get behind them while, they are distracted and caught off guard, attacking them from their blind spot. Once I'm within range, I'll harden skin and increasing the sharpness of my claw-like nails granted from the legs and pierce through them.
Drawbacks/counters: Since, it sacrifices strength for speed I'll be faster but, my hits will be a lot weaker so, I would have to wait until technique ends so that I can attack normally. Since its an earth technique and if the user gets too close they would be at risk to being struck by a short-ranged lightning technique.

Perform the technique:*I finish up by and after gathering my chakra, knead earth chakra into my stomach before, releasing it from my mouth in the form of earthly material appearing like some kind of a jelly-like substance. The material hardens and forms into a large slab of rock that I then, manipulate and direct it at the trees, having it move at high speeds. It breaks and knocks over the trees on impact, forcing the earth to splinter and jabbing anyone caught in the slabs path.*
Creative uses/strengths: It doesn't require hand-seals and is quick to execute. I can use it as defense to block oncoming attacks while, also having something to attack my opponent with. Of course I would use this with other earth techniques and possibly other elements(fire) to enhance its raw power and potentially do more than just break bones.
Drawbacks/counters: I would use a quick a lightning technique A-rank or above that doesn't require hand-seals and use it to overpower my opponents attack and have it continue towards them so, that I don't waste any time. A good example of a counter would be to use the lightning technique thunder up.

(Doton: Daichidokaku) - Earth Release: Great Moving Earth Core
Rank: S
Type: Defensive/Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 40

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user will slam his hands on the ground which he can then lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.
Note: Can only be used twice.

This is the stronger version of the previous A-Rank counter part. The user will have complete control of the ground and will be able to raise or lower the ground by 100 meters. With it you can create walls to block attacks or evade them. You can capture enemies by lowering the ground and sending a large scale attack. Also a note is that anyone in the ground that is under control they will obviously lose their balance due to the sudden rise of the ground, so you can easily catch an opponent off and have a clone or ally send an attack making life difficult for the opponent. You can alter the terrain as well with it. It has no serious offensive abilities but its main purpose is the supplement yourself in battle. Also for every time you move the ground it counts as a turn so be weary. Also by the time the ground fully erects it will take several seconds. (8-10s) depending just how high you set it. 100 meters is the limit but you have control just how long you want to raise it.


(Doton: Dosenkiryu) – Earth Release: Earth and Stone Dragon Technique

Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Horse → Dog → Bird → Ox → Snake will create a large dragon of earth erupt from the ground and direct it towards the enemy with devastating force. This technique much resembles the Water Release: Water Dragon technique.

Another very handy and a personal favorite. After doing the required hand seals the user will summon a large dragon made of complete stone and earth. The summoning of the dragon is very fast and what makes this jutsu so handy is basically the brute force the dragon contains and its sheer size. The dragon is summoned close range but it has a long range reach. You can ride the dragon and what makes it awesome is how you can really catch and save yourself from tough situations with the dragon, if you are in a tight situation you can summon the dragon and rise below you and use the momentum to launch yourself in the sky to evade certain attacks. It can also act as a barrier around you to protect from certain attacks. A normal problem is you must keep control of the dragon whenever you are using it. Ways to stop the dragon is using large scale attacks to make it remain its distance from you or attack the bottom of the dragon using a swamp to restrict its movement.


(Doton: Chokeijugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Earth Release: Ultra Light-Weight Rock Technique

Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically decreases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. The technique can decrease the weight of the target to virtually zero but the bigger the target, the more time is needed.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

The stronger version of the previous A-Rank jutsu. The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person down to virtually no weight at all. This jutsu when used in battle either lowering your own mass or a mass of an object exchanges the impact power for blazing speed. Its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. You can also increase your own speed to evade certain attacks with ease. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to the fact you have no mass whatsoever you have no impact on your punches or impact attacks.

Perform the technique:*I start off by gathering massive amounts of earth chakra before, slamming my right hand onto the ground and release it. I wanted to see what kind of effect this technique had so, I begin by lowering the ground in front of me but, 10 meters away. The lowered ground is 5x10 and is 100 meters deep. After that, I raise the ground back up and try the other way by raising it higher in the form of a wall which is 15x15x15.*
Creative uses/strengths: What I had in mind was that I could use this along with my boss summoning and the weaker version of this technique against the enemy and their summoning that specializes in projectile attacks and some form of close-combat. I would raise the ground to block their long-range attack while, the boss proceeds to lower the ground around the enemy to trap them and stop them from advancing with their attack. Leaving them vulnerable to an attack from above where they cannot escape.
Drawbacks/counters: I have a limit as how to how many times I can use it so, I have to use it wisely. It is naturally weak against lightning especially if the enemy sends their lightning chakra into the ground to disrupt the technique like nagashi and at least keep most of the ground surrounding him.

Perform the technique: *Moving on, I weave the hand-seals Horse → Dog → Bird → Ox → Snake, gathering and moulding my chakra into earth chakra before, injecting it into the ground to create a dragon made from the ground that erupts out of the ground, and I direct the earth dragon to attack the wall that was created from the last technique, having crash into it and creating a large explosion upon impact as the wall breaks.*
Creative uses/strengths: I could probably use this with the rain tiger at will to find them if they hide and once I detect them, I'll use the earth moving core or the advanced version depending on how far they are and how many there are to box them in and then, have the dragon attack while, they are trapped.
Drawbacks/counters: Some ways you suggested to stop the dragon is using large scale attacks to keep it at bay(specifically a lightning technique) or attack the dragon, aiming at the bottom using the swamp of the underworld to restrict its movement. Personally I would use the false darkness technique to pierce through and destroy it completely, aiming for the head or into its mouth as it attempts to 'devour' me or something. I would also use the water pillar thrust to dodge its attack, timing it just right.

I then, approach the largest boulder I could find and this one was the size of the large building. I channel my earth chakra into the boulder making its weight virtually zero, allowing me to lift it with ease and toss it far into the air(getting into long-range) before, it landed back down on top of the trees that were around the training grounds.*
Creative uses/strengths:I can use this to increase my speed to dodge certain attacks or be able to lift enormous objects (such as a meteorite or even an island) that I normally could not by reducing the objects weight to a greater extent than the original. As you said its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. I would use this with another earth technique or an enormous object and add paper bombs so, that first I would lighten the large chunk of rock and then, hiding the paper bombs inside it with another technique before, throwing it at my target and detonate it once its close enough.
Drawbacks/counters: As you said its another risky jutsu and that I may have the speed but because I have no mass whatsoever I wouldn't have the impact that I normally have with punches or impact attacks. Even though its useful I have to wait two turns for it to wear off before, I can decide to hit the target again with my normal strength. I would probably use a certain wind technique I have in mind but, I don't have the rank for it yet and I would use it trap them, preventing them from escaping or being in touch with earth.

(Doton: Chō Kajūgan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Super Added Weight Rock Technique
Rank: S

Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Added Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically increases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. This technique can increase the weight of a target up to 100 times. Under certain circumstances, the technique can be used to increase the force behind attacks.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

The more powerful version of the A-rank variant (clearly). The user will perform one hand seal and staying in contact with the object he will insert his doton chakra into the object and manipulate it in a way that the very same object will increase in mass. This will increase the weight of the object up to ten times more then the usual weight. This can easily restrict that very object or persons movement dramatically. Moving will be almost impossible. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. In all other cases, only weight is added. So energy based attacks will not added in weight. Also this can easily be used on oneself or object to increase its power and impact. However, unlike the A-rank, you can barely move at all, with even breathing being difficult, so using it on yourself is only good if you already have a lot of momentum or if you're dropping down on something.


(Doton: Koka no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hardening Technique

Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.

A very useful technique in which the user "grows" rocks from their skin to form a strong armor. While inside the armor, you can manipulate the rocks to form whatever shapes you want, so you can turn your hand into a sword or mace if you so chose. You can also choose to exclude parts of your body if you wanted to, for example leaving your feet unhindered for greater mobility (though you would be top-heavy and unbalanced). This technique, when used to completely cover your body, is also useful for breaking A-rank and below Genjutsu as it's a full-body surge. However, you are slower than normal when using the armor, you're vulnerable to Raiton, you can only use Doton techniques, and it constantly drains your chakra so... There's quite a bit of give-and-take.


(Doton: Dai iwa Kyojin no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Great Stone Golem Technique

Range: Short - Long (Made short range of the user with a long range reach)

Description: The user creates a even larger and stronger version of Earth Release: Stone Golem Technique. However, unlike the smaller version, the user creates this stone golem from the ground solely. The user will slam his hand on the ground, manipulating it and shaping it into a large warrior of stone which he can control as long as he keeps his hand in contact with it or with the ground and keeps fueling the technique with chakra. The golem can reach heights of 30 meters and is quite massive but seems to also be capable of moving quite fast as well.

A more powerful version of the A-rank variant, instead of being spat out of the user's mouth, this one can only be "grown" from the ground, making it required to have contact with the ground to use. The user will constantly send chakra towards the golem which in turn controls the golem's movement. You can virtually do anything with the Golem, you can send it towards the opponent as a distraction, or even with force as a projectile based attack. This version is also much larger than the original, being able to shield an entire army squadron on it's own. But even with it's great height, it has just as much speed and movement ability as it's A-rank variant. A draw back includes the golem requires a solid base for movement, also you must remain concentrated towards the golem; you must also be in contact with either the ground or the golem itself to continue controlling it. I think its best to have a clone control it before hand. The golem is not the fastest runner, but it's not slow either, and it has serious strength so it can easily crush enemies with a punch and lift huge, heavy things.

Strong points

  • –I can petrify mud and wood based techniques if they were used to bind me for example. If I was restrained, I could use this tech and then, break free as the material would crumble like what happened with zetsu. It makes a good combo with its opposite/counterpart.–
  • –It is a useful method of capture as the target will be unable to move. It can also enhance the power of falling or thrown objects or a person who has generated enough momentum like a kunai, flying debris, and the impact of ones own taijutsu before it makes contact (when Onoki first used the light weight to increase the Raikages speed and then, used this tech to boost the impact of Raikages punch before making contact). The increase in weight on the object greatly exceeds the original as it could have the object in question break through the structure(stand or platform) it is standing on.–
  • –Another point is that lets say I fail to hit the target from above(failing to cut or break through) with a physical attack, I can increase the weight of my limb or weapon and break through a target that bolsters a strong defense(Mizukages clam). -
Weak points

  • –Naturally weak against lightning , so releasing lightning chakra from ones or into the affected object body using the appropriate technique can disable or disrupt the technique .–
  • – Once the weight has been added I won’t be able to stop it for two turns unless I channel my lightning chakra into the object to counter its affects. –
  • – Unlike the weaker version I can’t move and I could potentially kill myself. I can’t add energy based moves along with this tech for combos such as fire, wind, water, and lightning and objects that can’t be physically held or touched such as those truth seeking balls shown in the manga since they can negate ninjutsu. So, I wouldn’t be able to grab one and throw it or drop unless I can use natural energy and combine it with this technique. -
Combinations-strategies
I could while above the air through the use of the wind stream technique or water pillar thrust, I can channel it into my weapon fatal horn before dropping it onto the target crushing them and easily break through any defensive tech up to B-rank due to my weapons ability. I could use the wind release basic technique to boost speed before increasing the weight of my hand that is coated in earth using the earth release: fist rock.
Ways to counter this technique
I will definitely not allow them to get close to me, that would be instant death. If they somehow get close I’ll use a substitution like the water replacement and escape or a teleporting technique (ftg) or body flicker(but they’re banned) .If its like a large object falling from the sky such as a meteor or something, the same way onoki dealt with madara’s attack, I would use its opposite and reduce its weight to zero.
Questions Just out of curiosity, what would you do if it was real close?

Strong points

  • – One of the useful methods in freeing yourself from a genjutsu and I don’t have to waste time harming myself to break unless its sharingan gen (T_T). I can also choose which parts to harden and not transform my body completely and it makes at least a decent finisher in a taijutsu combo. –
  • – I can turn my limbs into various weapons that give me a greater reach to strike my targets as well as give me somewhat of a surprise element since even though dodge my initial attack, they’ll be helpless in mid-air or while hovering when I release more earth chakra into the weapon when I thrust or swing at them .–
  • – I can use the armor as a medium for other earth release techniques to strengthen the blunt force in my attacks or take the target by surprise in CQC. The armor can also be used to break through S-rank water defenses and crush the target but, it’s better to have a clone do it for all I know the one defending might be a decoy and the real user is hiding somewhere or is getting ready to attack. -
Weak points

  • – While in this state I’m susceptible to lightning attacks and fast moves like swift techniques, raikage armor based attacks, EIG, wind, sound, and those Bartholomew technique that seem to be very hard to track so, I should be mindful of that.–
  • – The bad part is I’m stuck with using the earth element although for a master it shouldn’t be problem but, it in my case I would probably have my clone use it attack, shield me, or I would use to break out of a genjutsu or protect myself from an unavoidable attack and then, shed it.(I like to keep my speed U_U) –
  • – Because of the armor weight, my speed would be reduced and its better to take the hits if I were to use this instead avoiding them. It also seems to be taxing to sustain so, it isn’t a good idea to keep it around for long.-
Combinations-strategies
With a clone, I would first use water release: gushing water prison to trap them and then have my clone harden himself and deliver the final blow and crush them while they are still trap in the prison. If they escape and since their clothes have been drenched in water, I shock them using lightning release: lightning spear.
Ways to counter this technique
Well if they can break out of a gen then, I would lay a second genjutsu B-rank onto of the A-rank one so, that would give me enough time to cut them in half with a chidori spear. Another way is that I would use with a clone the water release: storm upheaval to wet them while, I use nagashi through my blade and channel it into the water through the ground to enhance the attack but, also deal destroy the armor and damage them considerably.

  • –Unlike the A-rank version from short-range the golem seems to have a long range reach so, I can have attack from a distance. I can use it as a distraction to attack my opponent from their blindspot, can be used as mobile shield or using it as a medium for other earth techniques such as earth release: rock bullet from its giant finger or grow spikes on its body using the earth release: stone spikes or earth flow spears.–
  • –One can cover more ground and as you said its best to create a clone beforehand and have him control so, you can worry about and concentrate on the target while, your clone gives you the opening you need and follow up with an attack. –
  • – Has incredible strength, being able to break down A-rank defenses(except lightning it wouldn’t be able to continue its attack) with a punch and S-rank water defensives. I can practically have perform any kind of action(except acrobatics lol) be it throwing or lifting objects. I can use it to overpower water techniques up to S-rank.-
Weak points

  • –Well it can’t be expelled from the mouth like the A–rank version and requires a ground source to summon so, it can’t be created in any kind of battle of terrain that doesn’t give physical contact with the ground.
  • –Like the weaker version I have to keep channeling my chakra into it to keep it active and if I switch to a different nature type it will stop so, its best to use it in a certain way that has a permanent effect or at least gives you the time you need to make your next move without worrying about maintaining it such as if I were to use its hands to capture and restrain a target and with its hands closed on them I can follow up with an offensive attack while, they are trapped such as lightning release: false darkenss to destroy the hands and them in it.–
  • – Even though its speed is about the same as the A-rank version it can seemingly move quite fast, enough to defend and attack an entire army. Aside from being naturally weak to lightning and can be stopped/overpowered by A-rank and above lightning nothing else comes to mind.-
Combinations-strategies
I would use rain tiger at will first then, create the golem and direct it based on where the rain picked up on the enemy . Although I would have a clone direct the golems actions as I will most likely carry out separate attack while the enemy is caught off guard such as using the earth spikes while, they are looking up and are focused on the golem they won’t notice the attack from below or if I knew any rain jutsu, create knives or sharp objects and stab/impale them in the back of the head or through their body.
Ways to counter this technique
I would have to force my opponent give up control or at least pressure them enough to stop fueling the golem or just flat out destroy it. Once I block their attack should they use the golem, I would use for example water release: water dragon biting explosion underneath them to get them to move out of the way and separate them from the ground. To destroy it I would use lightning style: false darkness to destroy the hand/arm if it were throw a punch or its entire body if it was approaching.

If what was real close? My opponent using it on himself? He wouldn't be able to move. An object coming towards me with the extra weight? Probably break straight though it with a powerful technique that would continue on towards my opponent, making both a defense and attack in one move.
What? You'd stab people through the head with sharp rain? Hmmm... Wonder where you got that idea from. :rolleyes: And yeah, getting them to stop fueling the golem is best, rather than trying to destroy it all. Though, if your opponent manages to get under the golem, you've lost all "sight" of him with your rain.

(Doton: Kaido Shōkutsu) - Earth Style: Opening Earth Rising Excavation

Description: With the technique, the user can bring up something from deep within the ground by slamming his hands on the ground and manipulating it to forcefully make whatever is contained in it to be expelled upwards. The result of this technique has the appearance of an erupting volcano and can vary in size depending on the users needs.

So a very simple technique, actually very similar to Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars. You slam both hands on the ground, and use your Doton chakra to bring up a very large volcano from the earth to push up everything above it. The volcano pushes all of the earth trapped within it, or if you planted things like bombs inside the ground, the bombs (in the manga, it was used to push Zetsu clones up into the air) up high, making the debris that flies out of it look like a volcano erupting. The debris then falls everywhere around the volcano, making everything short-range of the mass of destruction a hazard zone. Clearly, if you can hide some useful items in the ground where you plan to use this technique, it would be best, but if you can't flying rocks is always a good choice. What I really like about this jutsu (I actually just got it now as I looked through it again to write up this summary <.<) is that not only does it attack once when you push things up, but then it attacks a second time with the falling rock debris, forcing your opponent to go as far from the volcano as possible, which generally either puts them long-range from you, or short-range from you, and as mid-range is the general preferred range of NB, you can see how using this with combinations can be helpful.


(Doton: Yama Eikyō) - Earth Release: Mountain Smash

Description: The user will do 3 handseals (Tiger → Ram → Rat) and slam his hands on the ground which creates two enormous rock formations that close in on the opponent from two opposing sides with tremendous force, smashing everything caught in between. Both of these formations are capable of dwarfing even the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path in size. This is one the most strongest Earth based techniques, standing as a testament to both this ability's destructive potential and its difficulty. However, because of its size and power, it can only be used a limited amount of times, requires much chakra and can only be used at least mid range from the user.
Note: Can only be used twice

So, after forming three handseals and slamming your hands on the ground, you can make two very large sections of, well, mountain rise from the ground to crush everything between them. This technique is incredibly powerful and actually overpowers techniques of the same rank due to it's immense chakra cost and damage point value (though it still loses to Forbidden-rank techniques and equal-rank Lightning for being S-rank Earth). Now, while incredibly tall, the mountain is relatively thin (relative to itself). High-speed movement techniques like EIG and Swift should be able to allow the user to run out from between the slabs, but for a normal person I would assume that they would have to destroy the technique as opposed to running from it (if the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path couldn't step out in time, it clearly moves fast enough with a wide enough base to stop normal people from getting out). Overall, this technique is incredibly destructive, but it's main purpose lies in attacking when your opponent doesn't have anywhere to go; using it when your opponent is focused on you and has nothing else to deal with is a bad idea if you're not trying to set them up for a greater combo move.

Strong points

  • -It is naturally strong against water techniques of equal rank and below. I just have to slam my hands so its simple and quick to execute since there aren't any hand-seals for this. -
  • - Pretty useful in making something hidden underground to reveal itself and to injure/incapacitate large groups of enemies and giving your allies the chance to finish them off while they are airborne and vulnerable.-
  • -As suggested, I can hide certain tools and objects underground to be used as a trap. I can hide ton of those paper bombs that look like spheres and launch them into the air along with the targets before detonating them and blowing up the targets. Rock and stone Debris works fine but, I could also use weighted objects(training weights, blunt weapons like hammers, or small statues) to have them fall on the targets and crush them as they fall back down. If I hide weapons with chains connected to them I could use the added weight before they fall on top of the target. -
Weak points

  • -If I'm going to hide something, the target mustn't know and notice what I'm trying to do before its too late otherwise the plan is ruined and they'll be able to easily counter. The initial problem is that if the enemy isn't detected beforehand then, you missed your chance.-
  • - It is weak against lightning techniques but, ones that travel through the ground, envelop and protect the user, and come down from the sky.-
  • - Just like the Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars if it isn't used at a safe distance, and the field isn't clear and by clear I mean your allies are in the way and fighting enemies then there is a good chance that they will be affected by this jutsu.-
Combinations-strategies
Once I've sensed them using the chakra sensory to 'see' the body or bodies moving underground, I'll use Earth Release: Tunneling Technique to create a large tunnel and then use Fire Release: Exploding Flame Crater, breathing fire and having fire carrying rock and debris to erupt underneath and burn them alive.
I would use this with one of my moles and have they burrow underground and sense the targets underground and once they find them and direct me I'll use this technique to get them out of hiding and with the aid of a clone or ally and have them use the dropping lid or sticky mud to finish them as they rise.

Ways to counter this technique
Well I would feel the ground shaking if I was above ground and the only time I would underground is if I was trying to escape but, not before keeping my pursuers occupied. So once the feel the ground shaking, I would use technique that can propel me or shield me from the impact of the 'volcano' such as the ultra light weight technique to jump and evade. The wind release basic technique or the water pillar thrust to propel myself away except since it has a long range reach I would have to move towards my opponent or move to the sides. In the case of dealing with flying debris as the second attack, I'll use a kunai with wire string and throw it into the nearest chunk of rock, that I can reel myself in and evade the one coming at me.

  • - Because of the size of this technique I'm pretty sure I can take out an entire flank or at least most of it. It can take on elements of the same rank except for higher rank techniques, and as is fast enough to catch the outer-path statue.-
  • - Its main use is to finish off trapped or cornered targets. Like all earth techniques it is naturally stronger to water techniques S-rank and below. -
  • - Can be used in combination with other earth techniques to capture(using earth walls or other rock formations), increase the damage(using Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars to impale them first before crushing them), or both. -
Weak points

  • -As the range indicates its best to use from mid to long-range and not short unless the user wants to get caught in the techniques path and be flattened like a pancake.-
  • - Naturally it is weak to lightning(S-rank though) like all earth techniques. Since its a large scale attack the user shouldn't use it if there are allies on the field fighting the targets they might get caught...unless the situation demands it.-
  • - Is easy to see through and counter if the technique isn't aided by other moves to keep the target distracted and cornered. -
Combinations-strategies
I can use this with the moving earth core first to raise the ground behind the target but, before that I'll have clones at the ready to do this since the task requires more bodies or at least it will be easier to carry out. Then, I'll have one of the clone use something to distract them such as Wind Style: Infinite Sand Great Break to blind them with the sand and dust that they collected, giving them a hard time to notice certain things if its the statue I'll have to blast it into his face. Or my clone could direct their attention towards the sky, it doesn't have to be offensive like Water Release: Stormy Blockade(for large targets like the statue) and Earth Release: Sticky Earth Drop(for smaller targets). While they are caught off guard I'll raise the mountains to crush them.
Ways to counter this technique
I could summon the great stone golem to stop the mountains from advancing and crush me and give the chance to make my escape. With Lightning Style: 1000 Birds Thunderstorm I'll channel a chidori in each hand before releasing it in the form of a massive 120 degree wave to blow the mountains away. If I had some sort movement technique or a move that makes intangible then that can work too as I can escape or slip away from it.

Yes, you can use the volcano on a smaller scale, but you cannot use the second technique on a smaller scale.
