Alright, so I'm heading off to grade 11 after this summer and I was wondering what average I need to get into a university? My average for grd.10 second semester was 87, which is pretty decent, imo. I'm sure there is atleast someone here that has gotten an early acceptance to a university. I want to go for a computer engineer program, if that helps :/

I want to go to york, Ryerson or waterloo.

it depends on which one you want to go to. To be a computer engineer you have to be pretty smart and good with numbers (completed the course in HS). I know York is a good college, but they don't go for numeric grades like 87, they are looking for your GPA which builds and falls with your positive and negative grades throughout your High School career. It'd be good to look at those schools online to find the GPA necessary to qualify for entry.

Me myself have a scholarship for outstanding athletics, my football team won state, wrestling team wasn't that good, and baseball went into the playoffs so with 3 sports and some kind of average, I qualified for the scholarship. After I got the scholarship I looked at which school I would attend. I wanted to go in state, but then I wouldn't get ANY playing time on the football team, so I went into Western Carolina (I go after this year) it's somewhere in the mountains and they have a good football program. So basically I made a plan and stuck with it. I plan on majoring in either Criminal Justice or Education w.e.

Hmm from the Ontario area.

Well you can't get an acceptance early as far as I know unless you were one of those young genius and got to skip grades lol.

As far as I know keep up your grades at 85% or higher and you will not have a problem getting into your program with any Uni. When you are in Gr. 12 around Nov/Feb your teacher/guidance consular should give you your user and a site to go to. Once at that site you apply for Uni (I think 5 is max) and you'll get info from them and what not somewhere between May to July you'll get acceptance letters sent out and than from the website you confirm your acceptance.

That's all I know best would be to ask your guidance office for more info on that.
