With Edo tensei The revived bodies have been shown to regenerate and the only known way to get rid of them is to seal them away or free their soul.

My question is whether or not the tsuchikages Dust element technique would also work against them, considering that it destroys them on a cellular level. Similar to the idea that the only way to defeat Cell in DBZ was to Destroy Every bit of him all at once.

I think it would because the Edo Tensai requires the body of the sacrificed so maybe if they destroy the body's cells, the Edo Tensai target would be rendered without a host and the jutsu would fail? Hmm hope we see, we prolly will with the Tsuchikages being shown a lot recently.

so your saying that a dust storm(actual) is dead cells? i dont think he controls dead cells, dude. but i can see the jutsu having the potential to destroy the edo tensai.... but Kishi wont make it that easy, or would he?! o_O

No, I may have phrased that a bit wrong but I meant that dead cells are usually "dust" although dust itself can be made of many other things. Dust is usually defined as small particles. Dead cells can take on this appearance. So in essence, if one were to use Dust Release on a human, the cells would be destroyed and any left over would be dust. Hence the name "Dust" Release.

dust is earthly remains. wood, dirt, biological, etc. dust is fine particles, but i get your point.... we will have to see what it does to the kages. in the next chapter.... hopefully.
