A beautiful harmonizing noise came from the three. Then slowly they started to lift into the air. Higher and higher until the soldiers on the ground looked like ants and they were level with the mountain tops.
Samuel: I will ask again... Stop this trifling. Can you not tell that you have been deceived?? Obviously, even you two have fallen to the false Promises HE has told you.
Rodrick: No. HE was right. We have been in this.. this... COLD WAR for far to long. Those who see through the sun and disgrace the Moon, the well-spring of life, must be destroyed. And once I bring HIM the Shards of the Sun we will live in peace and return to the old ways.
Joseph: You make only one point, Samuel, and that is that he promised peace to both of us. Once I return with the Core of the Moon we will live in peace.
Samuel:Don't you see what HE's doing, you idiots?!?! It would be a simple matter to kill the other of you who survived this fight and take your Stone of Twilight!!!
Rodrick: True, true. But we believe he while keep his word.
Samuel: But look! Your two villages lived in peace until HE came along.
Joseph and Rodrick: ......
Joseph: We MUST take the Shrine. Only that will end this war and suffering...
Samuel: So be it brothers. Let us stop this talking. It seems the only way to truly stop this war is to kill you both. ( In a swift movement he makes a prayer: O father, let not their souls be anguished, but let them see the error of their ways.)
Both: So be it.
Rodrick's purple aura engulfed him in a perfect sphere. In a brilliant flash emerged Rodrick... Dressed in that of black armor, resembling a samurai's, except on the circlet around his a full moon and on his back two black wings.
Joseph's transformation was equally spectacular. He was engulfed in a gold orb,and when he emerged he was clothed in traditional ninja clothing,although gold, with one exception. Around his wrist, ankles and neck spun seven-pronged shuriken, resembling the sun. A pair of golden wings graced his back.
Samuel's was awe striking though. In a silver orb with purple and gold rings spinning around he emerged. Floating just above his back were four rings, each one sprouting shimmering silver wings. At his side, a two sided sword, uncommon in the shinobi world and more common with the knights of old. He wore a suit of chain mail each link glimmering in the sunlight.
And then, the moon crossed the sun starting the battle to forever be remembered as: The Dusking Eclipse war.
