Chapter 17: The Meteor and the Unbeatable Enemy.

"Solar,...lunar...and eclipse?" said Keotsu. "Yes. The power gifted to few." said Tetsugi, "I want you to show me your powers. I've seen you use Light and Twilight, put never Dark." "I can't, or rather won't. Every time I use Dark chakra, I feel an uneasiness, and it feels like a hand tightens around my heart..." said Keotsu.
Tetsugi walked over and placed two fingers upon his son's head. He started to explore his mind. Tetsugi reeled back. "Keotsu, you must fight an enemy, one that only you can fight. I want you to train under me for a few weeks before that time comes though." he said.
And train he did. Keotsu trained nonstop for four weeks. During the days, he meditated and focused his Light chakra until he could no longer distinguish it from sunlight. At nights, he would free his mind and opened his consciousness to the moon. It was simple training, but he could feel his power increasing as the two celestial bodies became in sync with him. It was another three weeks, weeks that he barley rested to perfect his justu..., that Tetsugi approached him about the enemy.
"Keotsu, this battle will take place in your consciousness, no one will be able to help you. But its the only way you will be able to defeat HIM." said Tetsugi, making hand signs. "I'm ready." said Keotsu. "Darkside Release..." said Tetsugi.
Leafs started to swirl around Keotsu and the strange corkscrewing burn mark on Keotsu's arm started to glow red. His pupils faded and Keotsu entered his own subconsciousness. Keotsu awoke and stood across from a figure in a red jacket and white hair. "Keotsu. Nice to meet you. Lets see...if you can beat your demons..." said the white haired figure. "Who are you." said Keotsu. The figure stepped out of the darkness. "I'm Keotsu." said Keotsu.
"I figured that much. What are you?" asked Keotsu (light). "When Samuel protected you from the Guru's flames, not all of them where blocked. That flame was not meant to kill you. It was meant to bring out your evils. Since Samuel was in your consciousness, he suppressed it and you remained yourself." said Keotsu (dark). "So if I want to beat the Guru, I have to beat me..." said Keotsu (L). "Yes." said Keotsu (D). Both Keotsus took a fighting stance. Keotsu (L) almost reached for Mikomi, only to realize that neither had any weapons at all...
"I hope I did the right thing..." said Tetsugi. "Don't worry about it. I think your son will over come this challenge." said Asuma, appearing with Kakashi. "So, why is this needed?" asked Kakashi. "The Guru implanted a peice of his soul inside Keotsu. Its as strong as he is, and because of it,He will always be stronger that Keotsu." Tetsugi replied. All the Jounin sat and waited for Keotsu to return to consciousness.
Both Keotsus rushed towards each other, each one matching the others moves perfectly. Keotsu (L) punched his enemy in the stomach, at the cost of a blow to the side of his head. The two continued at this for what felt like hours.
The Guru opened his eyes in his chamber, aware of what was going on in Keotsu's consciousness. He formed some hand signs and walked into a black cloud and disappeared.
Rena was walking around town, and decided to go visit Keotsu as he was training, because she had barely seen him since they returned to the village. She stopped suddenly, as a strange vortex of leaves swirled in front of her.
Keotsu (D) became aware of The Guru's plan and decided to end the battle now, for he needed to be by his master's side. "Darkness Impaler." he said, as a black corkscrew of chakra spun around his arm to a point. He charged towards Keotsu (L). "I'm sick of this. I'm sick of the Guru. And I'm sick of this fight. Die!" yelled Keotsu (L).
Keotsu (L) brought his arm up to his neck and turned his palm towards his charging enemy. A small silver orb appeared and grew in size until a perfect orb, about the size of a softball, floated in his hand. Then, it obtained a blue aura, and it gained what could have only been described as a comets tail. Keotsu(L) charged towards his enemy. "I'm going to finish this now! Celestial Meteor!" he yelled. And that's what it looked like. In the dim-lit arena they were fighting in, if someone would have been watching, it would look like a meteor was streaking across the sky in front of them.
The two Keotsus met in the middle of the battlefield. When Keotsu's attack came into contact with his dark side's, Keotsu(D) was blown furiously into the air and his body started to disintegrate. Keotsu awoke from his state, to find himself, not at the training field, but on a cliff just over looking it.
The three Jounin were caught in surprise as Keotsu's body disappeared. Tetsugi was the first one to spot Keotsu. They began to run up the cliff as they saw the scene unfold.
Three figures stepped out of the dark cloud that had just materialized in front of Keotsu. The Guru, a hooded Diango, and Rena walked out. "Rena!?! Quick, get away!" yelled Keotsu. Rena did nothing.
Keotsu took a closer look, and noticed that Rena's eyes where pupil-less. "What have you done to her?!" yelled Keotsu. Diango jumped behind Keotsu as the three shinobi appeared. "Should I take care of them?" asked Diango. The Guru payed them no attention and stated, "The choice is simple. Come with me and I'll release Rena, or fight her."
"I...I....I'll go with you.... Rena...she is the one enemy I can't beat...or even fight..." he said. "Good choice, but don't fret. I will keep my word, no harm shall come to her." said the Guru. Rena returned to normal as Keotsu walked over to the Guru.
"Keotsu! What are you doing, get away!" yelled Rena as she came to. "I'm sorry. Dad! Take care of her...I'm sorry..." said Keotsu. The Guru walked into the vortex shortly followed by Keotsu. Diango walked in, and the vortex closed. Rena fell to her knees, crying. Tetsugi walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder. "It'll be okay... It has to be..." said the distraught father.
Rena wiped away her tears, stood up and said, "Keotsu found and saved me... Now, I... I have to return the favor..."
