Keotsu stood across from Naruto, both boys smiling and bandaged up. As they shook hands Keotsu said, "It was nice to meet you. I hope sometime, we can battle each other. Your a lot stronger than me." "Hehehe. I would like to fight you sometime,too. Your from the Leaf right? I think, that eventually, we will get our chance." said Naruto smiling.
As Keotsu and his Dad, Tetsugi, started down the road they came to a fork. Tetsugi wrote something on a slip of paper and handed it to Keotsu. "I know you probably won't like this, but I have to leave. I will return to the Leaf in a few weeks, maybe two months, but there are some things that still need to be done." said Tatsugi. "But... Okay. Is it....Mom?" asked Keotsu. "No...I'm sorry, but Kaminie was killed in the attack from HIM." said Tetsugi sorrowfully. "Tsk. Everything has to be ruined by the Guru." said Keotsu in anger. "Hmm? You don't fear him? Normally, when people, even myself, speak of him you can feel his presence in his name." Keotsu's dad stated. "I don't fear him any longer. I've got a duty to up hold now. I'm gonna stop him once and for all." After a moment of silence, "I've got to go, Keotsu. You don't know how happy it makes me to know your alive. Did you happen to meet anyone else from our village?" asked Tetsugi. "Yeah, I'm going to meet my squad and Rena in the Cloud village." he said, deciding not to mention Diango. "That's good. I'll see you soon." Tetsugi said taking the left road. "I'll hold you to that!" yelled Keotsu as he started down the other side.
Rena was pacing anxiously by the village gate as Asuma said, "Calm down, Rena. If Keotsu traveled the countries by himself for five years, I doubt that a monsoon, will get the better of him." Sakura understood why she was nervous and started to say, "But, Asuma-sensei, last night..." "I know. The explosions. Those weren't natural." he said, lighting a cigarette. "Keotsu!" yelled Rena, as she saw a tattered Keotsu walk through the village gates. "What did I tell you," started Asuma as he walked towards Keotsu, "so, I'm guessing mission fail?" "On the contrary, mission success." Keotsu said handing Asuma the paper.
"So the ANBU, I mean HERO, was your dad?!" said Sakura, all of them on their way back to the Leaf. "Yeah, and he said he would be back in two months. I'm gonna use that time and train as hard as I can. Can you give me the names of people that can help me in these places, please? I need help with ninja tools, Taijustsu, my reflexes, and chakra control." "Well, Tenten can probably help you with ninja tools, and I'm sure Asuma-sensei would help you with chakra control." said Sakura. "Hmm, sure I'll help. And Neji or Hinata, or another of the Hyuuga should be able to help with your reflexes. As for Taijustu, Guy and Lee would be your best bet." said Asuma. "Great, the crazy people with the bushy eyebrows..." said Keotsu with a shiver down his spine.
Keotsu woke up early and looked at the clock; 4:30 A.M. "Better get this over with..." Keotsu said getting dressed. A few minutes later, he met Lee and Guy at the Training Grounds. "Oh, its, uhhh..... Keotsu?" asked Guy. "Yeah, I came to ask if I could train in Taijustu and strength with you two...." said Keotsu. A glint appeared in Guy's eyes, " OF COARSE!!! We always like to train people, right Lee?" asked Guy, a little too enthusiastic for Keotsu's taste. "Yeah, come train with me and Guy-sensei, Keotsu!" said Lee. Guy pulled out a green jumpsuit, "Here, put this on. It will help with your training, and once you put it on, you'll never want to take it off!" said Guy. "Okay..." said Keotsu very hesitantly. A few moments later, Keotsu stood in the same green jumpsuit as Lee and Guy, except that his face was cherry-red. "I-is this really necessary?" he asked. "Yes, it is great training gear. Now before I start you off, I want you to spar with Lee so I can get a feel of your abilities. Go easy on him, Lee. said Guy. "Yessir!" said Lee.
Lee rushed at Keotsu and tried to kick him. Keotsu saw immediatly how to dodge it, and side-step, grabbed Lee's leg, and flipped him. Lee landed on his hands and started to spin so his legs came back around towards Keotsu. Keotsu ducked and kicked Lee's hands out from under him, and started to punch at Lee's stomach. "Pretty good." said Lee, who was now behind Keotsu coming down with a kick. Keotsu barely had time to roll out of the way. The two rushed towards each other after Keotsu had stood up, and continued for several hours at this. "That's good!" yelled Guy as Lee and Keotsu connected stomach blows. "Hmm... You can train with us! 5,000 push ups! And if we can't do that, 10,000 sit ups!" yelled Guy. "Five-ten... Oh, crap." said Keotsu. Later that night, at the hot springs, Keotsu was never so happy to see hot water in his life as he was that night.... He returned home and fell forward and passed out on the floor. They were definitely insane, thought Keotsu.
A few days later, after recuperating from the insanity that was Lee and Guy's training he decided to visit Tenten. Tenten answered the door. "You ready to train? I promise, its not as bad as with Lee and Guy-sensei." she said, examining the bruises on Keotsu's face, and the bandages covering his arms. A few minutes later, they were deep inside the Konoha forest. Tenten threw some kunais at some straw targets and hit them all dead center. "Why don't you show me what you've got?" she told Keotsu.
Keotsu threw some kunai and hit each one at the point where the bull's eye met the second ring. "Not bad, not fatal, but that's definitely going to slow them down," started Tenten, "let me see how you throw, and hold the kunai." Keotsu threw a few more, a little slower, so she could see how he did it. "Hmmm, you taught yourself for the most part didn't you?" she asked. "Yeah, at the academy they taught us the basics, but for the most part, they let us find our own style." he said. "Lets see, with the way you throw, I want you to loosen your grip a little, and try to let them slide out of your hand, instead of opening your hand all the way." she advised. After a few hours, the ground was littered with kunai and shuriken. Keotsu threw a kunai, and hit the dummy dead center. "Good, that was some major improvement. Well, the rest you'll have to do on your own, but if you ever what to train again, just ask." Tenten said happily. "Thank you. I'm gonna train with Neji, now, while there is still time in the day." Keotsu said as he waved bye.
"So your Keotsu. I'm going to let you know now, I'm not going easy on you. said Neji. Putting on a blindfold, Keotsu said, "I don't want you to. If I can heighten my senses, it will help in battle a lot." Keotsu focused on his surroundings, then, "Oof." as Neji's palm sunk into his stomach. "Lets go again. I'm not gonna stop." declared Keotsu. A few hours later, Keotsu was dodging Neji's attacks almost like he had no blindfold on. It was no where near Byakugan level, but it was good, about the level blind shinobi were at. Neji stopped and Keotsu took off the blindfold. "Hmph, you still need work, but I guess your doing good for now." said Neji. "Thank you Neji, you've helped me out a lot." said Keotsu, heading home.
The next day Keotsu headed out, and met Asuma outside of the village in a quarry. "Thanks for agreeing to help me in chakra control, Asuma-sensei." said Keotsu. "I'm not here to teach you Keotsu, on the contrary, I'm here to watch." said Asuma. "What are you talking about?" asked Keotsu. "You've already got great chakra control, the note you gave me told me a lot about you." said Asuma. "I think its time you learn some real skills." said Tetsugi, stepping out from behind a tree.
"Dad!...What do you mean? Weren't you going to train me in Light, Dark,and Twilight jutsu?" asked Keotsu. "No, those are like plain chakra. Chakra in its regular form is a balance of all 5 elements. Light is the same thing, only with energy from the sun in it. Dark charka is the same way, except with the moon, while Twilight is a balance of the two. I'm going to teach you what you really need to know. Solar chakra, the pure form of Light. Lunar chakra, the pure form of Dark. And Eclipse, the pure form of Twilight. If you learn these, your power will double. Then, you can make your own jutsu. One to rival the Rasengan, that you saw Naruto use." Tetsugi stated.
The wind blew as the image of Naruto and the Rasengan flashed in Keotsu's mind. Keotsu stated, "I'm ready."
