Dusk Crow Genjutsu, Overlooked and Underrated?

Most debaters consider Itachi's arsenal of Genjutsu to be solely based on Ocular variations, and one (finger genjutsu), The majority of people forget about the moment when Itachi met Naruto the second time, and put him in a genjutsu with seemingly no handseals, or eye contact.. an unknown and deadly way of falling into genjutsu

From this scan, we Know that Naruto knew not to make eye contact with his finger, And we also know he was not making Eye Contact... All should be fine and dandy right? no

This Means Itachi has another method of putting someone in a genjutsu, that doesn't involve, eye contact, touch, or handseals..


The Crow Argument

A common argument as to how it was done, is that he utilized the crows, with Sharingan implanted in them , to put Naruto In the genjutsu..... Unfortunately, that theory doesn't hold up for a few reasons.. 1) Naruto didn't see the sharingan in the crow untill he was already IN the genjutsu, 2)

When Itachi uses crows, in reality or genjutsu, their flapping causes feathers to fall off, as it normally should, Paying close attention to when the Genjutsu ends, You see no feathers, no crows, nothing

This implies that the entire crow show was done soely in the genjutsu, as a method to show Naruto that he was already in the genjutsu, As Sasuke stated, crows are is trademark... Finally , we know the Crow argument isn't true due to another detail often overlooked.. This is the point at which Naruto first stands against Itachi

Take Close note of the Tree positioning and where Itachi and Naruto are .... In the genjutsu, Even before the crows flew out... Naruto Charged at Itachi

This means, that the moment Naruto showed himself from behind tree 1, He was put into a genjutsu....Which raises the question of HOW... No eyecontact, no touch, no visible handseals....

The way it looks, is that Itachi has in his arsenal, a GenJutsu of unknown level, that requires no prerequisite to be used..And if he does... This makes Itachi ten fold more deadly than he already was..
As it ties in to my reality simulation theory... that the very idea of being put into a genjutsu and not knowing you're in one (similar to what happened to bee, naruto, danzo ,deidara etc) is completely broken... as all it would take is a shunshin and stab, the moment the genjutsu is cast..

So, Discuss, how do you believe it was done?

In the Naruto games for the Psp, one of Itachi's techniques was Tsukuyomi and it made a dome that would slow anyone down inside it. Maybe it was something along those lines, once Naruto entered the designated zone he was caught in the Genjutsu.

This would need time to prepare so it isn't in Itachi's go-to arsenal.

That was during the Kazekage Retrieval Arc. This is during the Second Sasuke Retrieval attempt.

His Genjutsu makes him far too OP. You don't even need eye contact to be one-shotted. It's ridiculous how powerful Kishi made him.

Kabuto was the one who brought him back from the dead. To be honest, I don't remember any Kabuto - Itachi confrontation or Itachi being ordered to hurt Kabuto.

I talked about that in the crow argument.. There are 3 reasons none of that was real.. One, no feathers when the genjutsu ended ..

Feathers remain.. there's a difference between reality and genjutsu..


2nd reason that never happened... As I said, The tree distance.. In the genjutsu, AFTER naruto charged, Itachi opened his cloak and let out the crows.. when the genjutsu ended, Naruto was BACK at his his original spot, meaning itachi never actually opened his cloak, no crows flew out..

Thirdly , when Naruto looked at that crow, Itachi had already told him "You are ALREADY, in my genjutsu" meaning the deed was done and past... he didn't say "you are NOW, in it"

Naruto said "damn" because Itachi told him, despite him trying, (not looking at eye contact, not looking at fingers) he was already in the genjutsu"

What does Kabuto have to do with this thread?

You said Itachi is a much more dangerous and stronger person.
But since Genjutsu doesn't work on Naruto, Bee and Kabuto. They won't really care.

Once again, what does that have to do with the thread o.0, Ofc perfect Jinks won't be troubled by the genjutsu, that was an obvious.. Kabuto can get put in a genjutsu, he never said he was immune to it, Which is why he COVERED his eyes, to protect from their ocular genjutsu...

If he was caught at that moment, when the genjutsu ended he would have been in the same place... Instead, naruto was able to operate his two shadow clones that were scouting the area as normal, with full control over his chakra. Meaning at first glance, he couldn't have been put in the genjutsu

Feathers from his crow bunshin, which are REAL crows used as a medium for the replacement jutsu...
There were no feathers from the crows when he opened his cloak...Itachi has literally , one crow, With sharingan in it, and that's Shishui's kotomatsuki
