He soloed no one. He was pretty much dead if his word didn't miraculously changed at the last moment. And when Ginkaku turned into Kyubi mode, he did pretty much nothing. A tired Kakashi after fighting more than 2days against swordsmen fought against 5Bijuus along with Gai. Can Darui do that?

Yes, but Kakashi is smarter. Just look in this war the plan he made to defeat Zabuza quickly. Also Kakashi is better in feints(kage bunshin) that could surprise Darui, and he has sharingan to predict attacks.
