Ah yes far too brutal for small water techniques my mistake. Well for this particular jutsu maybe Gale Palm or Gale Blast technique or Violent Whirlwind (all C rank wind jutsu)
"Yeah that should do the trick, But I just want to confirm. xd"Ah yes far too brutal for small water techniques my mistake. Well for this particular jutsu maybe Gale Palm or Gale Blast technique or Violent Whirlwind (all C rank wind jutsu)
It's a single rain drop we are talking about, chances are it will disperse once interacting with a small wind technique. As for the taijutsu in the combination section. Although it might a good idea it can also be a double edged sword. Why? Because the opponent will read that you used the raindrop technique and simple move his body in such a way, taijutsu wise, to maneuver himself out of its path. Do you follow?Strong points
Weak points
- Quite interesting technique, at first I would like to point out that the rank of the technique and the size of the technique actually helps a lot. Such a tiny rain drop is almost not detectable, you could really afflict numerous damages if done correctly because of the size of the rain-drop.
- Its range is quite useful as it extends to Mid-range and can really help in our RP, because almost no battles happen in short range.
- Due to gravity and the size of the drop, it is assumed that the technique will initiate and act faster than most techniques.
Combinations-strategies I would use this jutsu with Tai combination, as we know it acts as a "sharp" blade, when used it will be extremely quick, for-example if I use it on a direct attack on my opponent's leg which is attacking me, the sharp blade will pierce and leave a good scratch, the pain will act as a distraction and the upcoming attacks will be harder to deflect at short range.
- One of them is stated in the jutsu that it only travels in straight line down, so pretty much distraction using these attacks will be useless, its only goal is to inflict pain which then can cause distraction.
- This scale of technique is not to be used in defense, never ever. Although it will be effective during a Tai battle.
- It won't be a good idea to use this technique during rapid powerful jutsus, because almost any scale jutsu that covers its path will take care of it.
Ways to counter this technique Well, almost any jutsu that covers the path, preferably Earth or Wind jutsus will take care of this technique, and it is a good practice to use the B-rank Earth Hardening technique that only covers a part of your body as you wish, because that technique also increases Taijutsu stats at the same time as it will defend. On the side effect it decreases the speed of the user because of weight of the Earth Tech.
Blizzard closes his eyes slams his hands, and once again becomes one with the rain drops, knowing and feeling every single one of them, their path, their direction, and their density, all calculated, blizzard picks one that is in the path of the training dummy. He then channels his Water and wind chakra into the drop making it sharp rain blade that pierces through the dummy. "Sensei, what if I use a small scale wind technique to change the path and make it stronger? Like Rain with wind is directional rain right?"
I'd like both of you to find a puddle that has accumulated over time. You will then manipulate that very same source and shape manipulate a spike made entirely of rainwater to pierce your target.(Ame Kasui no jutsu) - Rain Spike Technique
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user of this technique must place chakra into one or more raindrops. As the drops of rain hit the ground they create a small sized spike of water from puddles on the ground. For this technique to work there must be water on the ground and it must be raining.
"Well not really, it depends on how you end up using it. My point is the use should be such that the technique acts in the later sequence of your Taijutsu movement, actually trapping the opponent in multiple series of events. Tai > Rain > Tai... So you land a Tai move miss, but it was actually a distraction for Rain technique to work and then if that is successful your upcoming attack of Tai is likely to be a success." Will reply to the actual move in a bit. Do you follow?
Strong pointsI'd like both of you to find a puddle that has accumulated over time. You will then manipulate that very same source and shape manipulate a spike made entirely of rainwater to pierce your target.
The swamp combo would be invalid and the size of the spike would rival a pillar created by doton no jutsu.Strong points
Weak points
- Can be a really sneaky technique if the water on the ground is already present, because forming spike from water with no real ground vibrations and such is most effective way to hinder the user's movements.
- The attack extends to Mid range, meaning it will be effective in most scenarios and combinations.
- The attack is of low rank, even though it can be seen as a disadvantage but it has some good side to it, since the chakra is already present this technique is almost so quick to react to it. Quick and sneaky, I like that...
Combinations-strategies Muhahahahhaha! Now the fun part. I like this technique and see a very amusing use of it. Torture. O_O Well the technique itself is quite sneaky, its use with a Genjutsu to even hide its existence is effective. As soon as user feels pain snap out of Genjutsu a short range Taijutsu battle will be fun to watch with opponent's feet or leg bleeding.
- Small size? How small is the spike?
- Baka like most of rain moves, this one also needs already present rain or water.
- Well the last thing will be if you do it all blunt and expect the opponent to fall for it then.. sigh... no hope. It is too easy to counter because of its low rank. But that can be an advantage like I stated before.
Another combination I see is a front or back attack using like Earth pillar or even swamp's water components to create this technique, I wonder if that is possible?
Ways to counter this technique An effective way is to disperse it or avoid it. I would prefer avoiding it by using a D-rank Earth pillar, or covering a part of body with very low rank Earth will do the trick.
"Puddle?Alright, well there is a lot of water around because of our early practice." Blizzard dugs the muddy ground to form a container for the rain drops to settle. Soon the water was enough to take control, he extends his chakra mixing water and wind together manages to easily control the constitution of the water created by the rain, the rain already had somewhat of his chakra so it made it even easier to control it. "Umm lets see. Chakra control.. check? Chakra manipulation..." he then manipulates his chakra tof orm a small sized spike on the ground where the puddle was, dense enough to pierce one's foot with ease.
Only one spike can be created from this technique.Strong points
Weak points
- No seals and low rank and no "build up" as far as controlling the puddle because the trigger is the drop hitting the ground so it should be a sudden surge upwards.
- When enemies know you have been using rain they will start watching the sky as that is where 99% of Rain jutsu are coming from so an attack from below can catch them off guard.
- Since it can be one or many i assume if you make many you can either use it to make multiple spikes or varying sizes of spikes so a single drop for say a spike to shoot into their ankle or a large spike to shoot into their back or a small summon
Combinations-strategies
- Only up to Mid
- Requires it to have been raining for a while so can't be used until a couple turns into it raining
- Due to being low rank water any Earth armor would block them (like basic armor formed from Earth Release ,Earth Spear or Hardening)
I would use a couple of Rain jutsu like Hidden Rain Slash or Rain Spear and when the puddles have finally formed I'll make the whole area around him shoot up in tiny spikes to stab his feet and sprinkle it in between up and down attacks while throwing in projectiles or Earth or Water jutsus or cause one large spike to their legs with a lot of drops.
Ways to counter this technique
Earth Armor of some kind would protect from all Rain jutsu pretty much, Staying off the ground or moving too fast for them to aim the spike easily. Or stopping the rain (Rain Stop or severing pressure)
One of the many spear techniques you will be learning. I want you guys to focus your chakra out around the clouds. you will manipulate the rainwater and gather it, shape manipulating the source into a spear of rainwater. With the usage of a single hand seal, you can manipulate the spear to come raining downwards towards your desired target.(Ame no Yari) - Rain Spear
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: By using chakra to condense a large amount of rainwater into one place, the user creates a spear of water in the clouds. The spear can at any time be called down to strike an opponent with only one hand-seal. The water will stay in the form of spear for a short amount of time (three posts). If the spear is not used by that time it will fall uselessly as rain. The only warning this technique gives is a second pause in the rain when the water is gathered and condensed.
OOC: Your strong and weak point regarding the hand seal are contradictoryStrong points
Weak points
- well its much larger then the others so if hit it should do the most damage
- If they can be held they can be set as traps or timed combos
- they only take one seal to trigger
Combinations-strategies
- first big problem is the delay in the spot it coming down in the small chance they notice they might avoid that spot just in case
- 2nd problem is that you need to perform a seal to bring it down from the clouds so thats a trigger to be on guard
- 3rd problem is even though it can be held it still does the same damage as the other C ranks that don't take any seals
I would form a rain spear a range behind the person then attack with a strong elemental combo to push them back to that range and drop the spear down timed with a paralyzing gen (and if i could use SNK with this i would do genjutsu+rain spike+rain spear brought down)
Ways to counter this technique
Earth armor would protect from it, earth domes, or wind techniques that surround you
OOC: Yep you're totally right about that ^_^*prepares to wait a very long time like normal*
Sorry i know that the one seal isn't a huge alert but it still is a give away enough for most people.

Good.Strong points
Weak points
- The fun part of this technique is that it originates in the sky rather than the ground, unlike many techniques it will be harder to predict, notice and avoid.
- It can stay in the clouds until the right time is there to call them by performing a hand-seal.
- It will be faster than the normal spear because the gravity also pulls the spear down, and its content is rain like, probably transparent and hard to notice with the already present rain.
Combinations-strategies A fin strategy with this technique will be using it after the glue one we learned, trap and kill. But other than that, using it with a genjutsu or anything that will avoid the person's sight from looking at it will work. Maybe a pillar from below and a spike from above.
- It will diminish after three turns if not use within those turns its useless.
- It needs a hand-seal to actually initiate.
- Countering it will be easier if the opponent notices it in time it is like a straight on attack.
Ways to counter this technique A small wind blast straight on if noticed in time, other wise avoiding it in the last second by changing distance as it is pretty much direct attack if you miss you miss.
Blizz gathers his chakra in the clouds, wind and water chakra blended together with some shape manipulation and chakra control Blizz easily manages to shape the rain into a spear condensing it and keeping it stationed in the sky, He then performs one hand-seal sending it straight down onto the ground. The intensity and shape of condensed chakra allowed the spear to be sharp and cutting.
By taking turns on each other, I want you guys to manipulate the rain drops within your target's vicinity. You will then manipulate them, causing them to attract towards the target, completely soaking him in rainwater. If the individual is already in the ground, you can also shape manipulate the attracted rain water near the ground and the target's feet to bind him in place.(Ame Nottori no Jutsu) - Rain Capture Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique causes a target of the user's choice to "attract" raindrops. The water in the rain drops will attach themselves over an opponent. Once enough water has gathered over an enemy it will also attach to the ground, holding the user's opponent to the ground.
Strong pointsGood.

An earthen armor would suffice, yes.Strong points
Weak points
- Weird, annoying and sneaky technique. I don't think its quite "detectable" in a way that other techniques are.
- Unlike the sticky rain which can be avoided with actions, this is like a magnet attaching itself to the opponent and not just a blunt aim.
- It covers mid-range, it seems like a quick initiation (but slow result - will be a weak point).
Combinations-strategies A fun use will be after using this technique, as it processes make a quick blunt attack, it can also halt opponent when the user is using Taijutsu moves. It can also be a good move when the direct attacks are done, because they can be avoided easily, but with this its harder to do so.
- "Once enough"? Dunno how we will determine that, but I am assuming its going to be a slow result.
- Even though its sneaky, the opponent might catch the technique by knowing the rain is sort of following him.
- And like all other this requires a rain source. >_>
Ways to counter this technique A wind disruption of sort, I don't know if covering yourself with earth helps but it may if you cover your feet with the hardening technique.
"WOOOHOO, a sneaky technique!" Blizzard screams as he focuses his chakra in the rain once again, now choosing the direct location or target for the path of the rain, once spotted, the rain is then manipulated to keep attracting itself towards the training dummy. Soon it soaks the dummy to an extent that the dripping rain attaches itself to the ground holding and capturing the dummy in its place.
Liking the gluey rain combination^^Strong points
Weak points
- Its not easily noticeable at first since the shape manipulation doesn't come until the end where they are coated in water already the rain should normally soak you so unless real far away rain is all flying at him it should just seem like he is getting soaked like normal until suddenly he can't move.
- If you start this after it has been raining a while they should be partly covered in water already reducing the time it takes to bind them.
- If they don't notice and try to use Lightning they should self conduct and zap themselves as you are covering them in a water layer from top to bottom.
Combinations-strategies
- takes a while to cover them if used early on in the Rain source's presence.
- Easily removable with Earth or Wind
- Only up to Mid so if they are playing a long range game you won't be able to slow them down from far away and gain ground.
Begin the Rain Capture jutsu and then use a genjutsu that either blinds or paralyzes them or otherwise makes them ignore the rain and the fact that its pooling on them. Preferably block their ability to escape the gen in any other way then Lightning (say blocking their memory of Earth jutsu with Loss of Memory jutsu) forcing them to use a surge of lightning chakra that will self conduct and paralyze/kill them. Or use Rain of Glue and this so it self attracts the sticky rain to them and binds them much quicker.
Ways to counter this technique
Making a wind jutsu that encircles you to redirect the rain away, using an Earth armor to make it impossible for it to bind you as you can manipulate the earth armor into spikes or other shapes to disrupt the gathering water or stay at long range of the enemy so they can't use the technique at all. Or possibly get rid of the rain all together or stop it with Stop Rain technique.
As Long Feng watches his fellow student bind the dummy with the rain he did the same, releasing his chakra into the rain around them and made the rain direct towards a medium sized rock nearby that quickly becomes coated in a heavy layer of water and the bottom forms a seal of types that hold the base of the boulder to the ground tight making it near impossible to move it without first removing the layer of water.
Similar to the technique you've already learned, I want you guys to manipulate the rain drops around your short range and make a physical clone entirely of rainwater, taking your exact appearance. This technique is very similar to the haze-clone technique however it has rainwater as a source instead.(Ame Bunshin) - Raining Clones
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A jutsu that creates false clones of the user around drops of rain. Every clone is totally harmless and is destroyed by one hit or if they collide with the ground or the enemy. This technique is used as more of a distraction than anything.

Ways to counter this technique
Strong points
Weak points
- Since its low rank and no seals it can be done quickly
- It can be used in combination with Genjutsu to make for some serious mind ****ery, as this jutsu makes it look like clones are raining from the sky which could easily be seen as a nin or gen jutsu.
- Besides a distraction it could also block their vision of spear/bullet type rain attacks coming down as to limit their detection of it even more.
Combinations-strategies
- Completely harmless alone so even if they ignore it it won't do anything but block vision from above
- can be easily destroyed by low rank attacks and used as an excuse by opponents for using stronger jutsu as they might think they are real clones and be in a high pressure situation.
- Short range so it has to be done close to them if you want the clones to be near them otherwise it will just look like clones are falling from the sky and splattering for no reason.
I would preferably get in short range and activate it during a tai fight or use genjutsu then rain clones to confuse them thinking they are surrounded. Probably won't use this justu much honestly so not sure how many viable combos their is for it.
Ways to counter this technique
Any Wind or Earth could easily defend or scatter the rain and make it clear the clones were rain water, if you think it is shadow clones just quickly appearing above you and coming at you it gives a reason to use high level attacks to put pressure on your enemy in return.
I send my chakra out and through the rain drops molding them together into copies of myself as they fall and hit the ground, splattering as harmless rain water in the process.
Very good guys.. also remember this can be used as a source of rain for other techniques that could aid you in short range ^_^Code:[PLAIN]Strong points

- Insert info -
- Insert info -
- Insert info -
Weak points

- Insert info -
- Insert info -
- Insert info -
Combinations-strategies Ways to counter this technique [/PLAIN]
Strong points
Weak points
- Excellent Distraction technique probably because they are created due to rain.
- They may act as chakra disruption as they take form and cover large area, I am guessing its multiple clones.
- Quick?
Combinations-strategies This technique can be basically use to conceal any other technique, so it has quite some combinations, also since its short range, I would say a good Taijutsu excuse.
- Short range.
- Harmless and very week clones.
- Need an active rain source like most techniques.
Ways to counter this technique Any disruption will probably do the trick, creating a small blast of wind will work.
Blizzard once again transfers chakra into the rain, releasing controlled chakra he makes the concept of illusionary clone into being with the help of present rain, the rain takes user's form and drops as if the clones are dropping, as that happens they disperse as soon as they hit the ground.
Your last C-Ranked technique guys!(Gouu no Jutsu) - Heavy Rain Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: A jutsu that actually uses the victim's clothing as a medium to effect him or her. By filling the clothing with water-elemental chakra the user causes the clothing to fully retain all water it comes in contact with which will gradually cause the clothing to become heavier and heavier. Unfortunately, this jutsu that does not create water, so it is only useful in a rainy or otherwise wet environment
