Good work but its effects are not so great to prohibit the formation of handseals but you may be onto something with the alteration of projectile's trajectory. Your timing would have to be impeccable and the projectile can't be so great in size that a minor disturbance to its flight path will have no effect. Its a dangerous method to employ and not one I personally recommend.

Alright, now go look at the Mud Variants techniques and analyze them.

The mud varient techniques seem to be mostly useful for preventing your opponent from moving which is great, the mud can be made quite firm and strong, these type of moves are great for distracting and putting your opponent in a tough situation, if these moves are combined with water type techniques it could make the technique alot better than it would be by itself, certain mud techniques can on its way towards the opponent surpirse them by turning into a hard rock at close range surprising the enemy
