people forget that Orochimaru actually wanted Kimmimaro abilities and body over the uchiha but due to his illness he couldn't.

come on man. You are an Itachi advocate yet ask this question. Everyone knows Plot AIDs has no logic behind it. you just die at the exact moment victory is assured

Definition of regenerate (v)
re·gen·er·ate

* Form again: to form again, or become formed again

I believe that the diseased cell(s) were multiplied per-say every time he passively-regenerated. Hell, I now believe that Shikotsumyaku/Dead Bone Pulse (Kimimaro's Kekkei Genkai) was actually the cause to his sickness, because of the keen translation (Dead Bone).

I was always under the impression that bumping threads was illegal.

The regeneration isn't working like that.
For example, Madara literally set Tsunade on fire [ ], her arms were burning [ ], yet the Byakugou only replicated her healthy and not the burned cells.

In that same scan regarding Tsunade "healing her burns" she also says "The Byakugou has run out". So how exactly does she self-heal when the jutsu has ran out.

I hope it's fine to bump threads from almost 4 years ago >_>

The Byakgou obviously healed her before it run out, considering I see no burns on her body. Tsunade was worried because she run out of chakra. And we all know what happens when she has no chakra, lol.

Yeah I understand what you're getting at. However, it still wouldn't refute the fact that Kimimaro's disease most likely came from his passive regeneration due to Shikotsumyaku. Every time he used it, the effects kept getting worse, that's the only plausible suggestion at the moment.

Yeah, but let's be honest, that's only an assumption. It sounds quite plausible nevertheless.

It's sad I have to make such an assumption up, but it's the only thing I have to ponder with at the moment, I'll make sure to do a little bit of research on his Kekkei Genkai to sculpt this assumption into basic plausibility.
