(DrProof) Spring Workouts (highschool football related) Will Rep

So Spring Workouts have just started, and I want to get my 40 time up. I'm currently running a 4.5 (believe me or not that's your choice) anyhow, I'm currently weighing in at 170 5'9 1/2. I'm actually trying to gain weight (220 by junior year, freshman now).

So how do I go about getting my 4.5 40 time to 4 flat? I know that is a HUGE reduction, but I want this, I strive for this. I want to succeed as much as I want to breathe.. Pain is temporary Success is forever. (I play Running Back by the way)

bold part explains everything to me now. so i'm a go ahead and apologize for picking on you. i seriously gave you too much credit by thinking you were older. i figured you were just another guy who needed the attention of kids to feel somewhat important but all this time you were just a kid yourself who knows nothing. oops, oh well.

if you say so kiddo. i wouldn't try to think too much of myself over other kids constant agreeing with you but whatever floats your boat i guess. lol proper grammar isn't need with someone like you. there's that -rep bar if you still feel bad about it though, kiddo.

okay lemme dumb it down for you

you don't deserve to have me or anyone else talk to you with respect or as an adult. you're just a kid who tries to carry yourself as if you're an older person who likes to share his unbiased opinion with all of us. reality is that once you come across someone who doesn't blindly agree with you and/or puts your "proof" to shame, you start acting like the little kid you are. bad language, - repping like a butt hurt little girl, ect. but i guess the internet is the easiest place to feel tough, act smart, and set yourself up on a high horse. like i said, i guess you need this to feel some kind of importance here when you're not getting it in the real world. now that i see the real reason you act like a kid, i'm not going to waste anymore time with you in the future. just thought i'd put you out there ;) oh and you can have the last word is you really need it. makes no difference to me.

I thought carry myself as an adult is what mature teenagers should do. It's by far the most logical. Anyhow, if you're this oh so responsible, and intelligent adult. Why are you arguing with me in the first place? The adult thing would to have never commented on this thread the way you did. Makes you nothing better than what you classify me as, a KID.

Pain is temporary, but if you over-do it that pain could last forever, so don't over do it and Everything has been answered by others I guess

No one in the world has ever ran a 4 flat. Here are some tips from a football player like myself to you.

1.) You do not want too much muscle. If you are too stocky, you will slow down.
2.) Run alot of hills. This increases your speed tremendously. Reduced my time by about .1 (run a 4.55 about)
3.) Resistance. Try wearing weighted clothes, or your football pads when you run. It helps alot!

Edit: By the way, just because Goku and Lee did weighted training, does not mean it will help. It usually hurts you in the long-run. Ruins your joints completely.

I heard that working out your ass (Gluteus) can increase your speed.

Wrong. Ass muscles have nothing to do with it.

I can either listen to you, or to what a lot of articles say about it + what my football coach used to say back in high school.
