The Inherited Abilities Of The Three Great Doujutsu
Prologue

Prologue
The Three Great Doujutsu were said to have been derived from each other in this order: Byakugan ≠ Sharingan → Rinnegan however, many classify each Doujutsu to specifically be developed in one of the three categories of jutsu: Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu; I say this is complete falsity, and in this thread I will prove how each have inherited abilities from each other.

Inheritance
What does Inheritance pertain to?
Inheritance pertains to what the three Doujutsu are developed in. The Byakugan was said to have origins similar to that of the Sharingan, however it was not inferred that the Sharingan was an evolved form of the Byakugan along with the fact that "The Older Son's Descendants were The Uchiha Clan", thus has me to believe the Byakugan was possibly developed around the same time, or slightly after the creation of the Uchiha Clan's pertained Sharingan.
I will momentarily be explaining what each of the Three Great Doujutsu specialize in, and what they've passed down/inherited from each other.
Byakugan: Taijutsu & Perception
3-Tomeo Sharingan: Taijutsu, Perception & Genjutsu
Rinnegan: Taijutsu, Perception, Genjutsu & Ninjutsu
To further more support my theory, the Rinnegan was said to be the evolved version of the Sharingan as many have already been aware of. Thus, the "Eyes" are a must in obtaining the greatest Doujutsu evolution: The Rinnegan.
Thus, my conclusive thinking resides in the conclusion part of this theory below.
Dōjutsu are genetic ninja abilities that utilise the eyes, granting the wielder ocular abilities. Being a by-product of specific kekkei genkai, dōjutsu are not classified as one of the major jutsu types. They do not require the use of hand seals and in some cases facilitate in the use of or defence against genjutsu, taijutsu and ninjutsu and then defeat their opponent. All known dōjutsu also provide the user with some unique abilities, such as an extended field of vision or predictive capabilities.Among all known dōjutsu, the Byakugan, Rinnegan, and Sharingan are known collectively as the Three Great Dōjutsu (三大瞳術, San Daidōjutsu; Literally meaning "Three Great Eye Techniques").

Conclusion
- The Three Great Doujutsu pass on traits as they "evolve" (The Byakugan → Sharingan may not be correct, but we can conclude they have the same aspects other than The Byakugan being more perceptive, while the Sharingan has Genjutsu); The Rinnegan altered all traits of the Byakugan, and Sharingan.
