Background Info.
History:
Born to a rather unassuming set of Uchiha parents, I spent my life the same
as a general Uchiha - working in the Academy, working on activating the
Sharingan, working on copying a number of Ninjutsu, working on making the
ANBU - and , also like the general Uchiha, I succeeded.
Placed as Anbu, Codename Urufu ( Wolf ) I was under the captaincy of the
enigmatic Uchiha Itachi, the fabled prodigy.
How much I had heard about him ! Always Fugaku-teme used to go on
about Itachi doing this, being that, getting promoted......
Expecting him to be frigid and ...well, stick-up-his-ass-y, I went to introduce
myself to him.
My prediction was satisfied in the initial stages, but as life went on in the
ANBU, mission after mission completed, traitor after traitor captured, I
gradually, almost like an iceberg melting, felt him warming up to me. He
once even initiated the conversation !!
To continue, after years of this, we had slowly grown into best friends, a
phenomenon that never ceased to amaze my squad mates, or indeed, me.
As our life progressed, Itachi began to be called to a number of secret
meetings. One day, in a sudden collapse, he broke down and revealed the
plot of the Uchiha conspiracy. He needed to take my eyes for the
Mangekyou ! The eyes of his best friend.
I, doing something that shocked me, agreed. I told him he could kill me, for
the benefit of Konoha, but the poor sap, just placed me in a temporary
death situation with his knowledge of acupuncture after taking my eyes.
This left ANBU wondering what to do with me. In an effort to kill me, they
ripped the needles out, but only succeeded in completely destroying my ear
canal, and taking my sense of hearing as well.
The shock also awakened me, and the Third Hokage was on the scene, so
ANBU could not even finish me off. The Third, seeing my plight, took me in to
the Hospital, and then placed me in a secret squadron to act as liasion
between Konoha and Itachi. The Third also, in an effort to state that I was
dead, said that Itachi had killed me, and that killing your best friend is the
way to obtain the Mangekyou, and not taking his eyes.
This was all well and good for a while, but......the snake attacked, and the
Third died.
With disgust, at the Council, I left Konoha, and made my way to Kusa, under
the rule of A shinobi named Goro Kaguya, and became his right-hand man.
My story continues from there........U_U
