I was spectating him as scum from host position. I will not say explicitly what conclusion I have but I think him as scum has another vibe.

Idk why do you feel the need to consider Ansa scum.

Last game nobody listened to me when I said Ansa was scum so although this is extremely scummy of me to do so, I want to plant seeds of him being scum now so that in the future people might be like “Oh yeah, he might be scum”

On page 5 and I'm liking the idea of Ansa town. His progression on Michelle reads as really townie, I don't think a scum has that sort of progression on someone. The whole interaction between him and Michelle I can't comprehend at all, but his progression on Michelle is what I'm more interested in anyway. I'll probably lock him in a no lynch box for today.

paper seemed townie all of last game. His very passive playstyle and his friendly but minimal contribution make it hard to pinpoint him as either faction. But I've only see him play once.

Well, here I can see that you have enough reason to push for leads on paper. If his playstyle is passive and you lost the last game because of him, I'd reckon it would be more important for you to try to figure his role out asap. You mentioned nobody questioned him. That's what I meant with the fact that I didn't like that you didn't poke at him, especially when he said "Can we lynch?" but he never even voted / said anything about his reads. That question makes no sense unless you have some sort of read. Why would you ask if you won't even vote anyone?

@Thestatusquo - heavy scum lean - thier opening posts only gives off town cred, despite it ding nothing for town. Thier points against me are very flimsy and lackluster, they dont have a case against me and just want to vote me because I voted them. They are scared of my vote lol. This could be easy scum play, or just bad townie.

@Ansatsuken - null read - Michelle's points stand some ground on him, but not enough imo to lead to convince me that he is town.

@Michelle - null read - them and ansa seem like town v town. I don't think either of them are scum in this sanrio

Why do you null read both of them but lean town on your next line? Confused. Explain. Trying to keep your mislynch pool opened or something? Ansa is bleeding town.

To be honest I've not a good feeling on Kyte.

SK can be town for now, might be a shallow read, I'd have to wait a lot before I find myself enough time and motivation to try and actually get a good read on him. Seems like that type of a player. His catchup does seem good though, just based on how I felt reading his ideas.

So I guess that's 3 people in the town block, myself included. Leaning town on Michelle as well, but take that read with a grain of salt, didn't really take the time to thoroughly read her posts.

Don't really like Red or Kyte at the moment. Nor do I like paper. Has that sort of busy posting style that new mafias have. I might actually read his last game that Red keeps bringing up.

People need to start doing townie things so I can channel my beast mode onto the right people. Villagers, act villagery. That's all you need to do in order to win. If villagers know who villagers are, then it becomes a matter of POE.

In a town where you're not sure of even 2 people's villager alignment, then the mafias can take themselves a vacation and let you end each other off. There's no right or wrong reads, there's honest and dishonest reads. Don't be afraid to post, villas.

I don't understand.... why would anyone gonna trust gut feeling? you made a hunch or had the feeling that Ansa was mafia in the last game but things don't work this way. You gotta provide a reason and if you think anyone gonna trust on a hunch or gut feeling then you're in a wrong place

Give town reads like gold, not candy.... you can't read players town this early in the phase... outside of All_Red you don't seems to have your stand on anyone, is she's your focus for today?

It's actually easier to town read players than it is to scum read. It's inherently harder to scum read and expect to have good accuracy, especially if you're a superficial town player. Town are dumber (because they are uninformed) and so they will do stupid stuff that looks natural. Scum can't do that, because they are smarter (informed) and it's hard to stage that up in a manner that looks townie. Have you heard about the saying "A good machine gun will chose it's owner?" Only scum hunting is done by players that have A LOT of experience, the elite players, the 0.1 percentile. Even the best players begin by establishing a town core on day one.

If you find a good town core, then you don't even have to do scum hunting. Scum are put into a box and you just keep extracting from it.

And I do have reads and focused elsewhere. I have a 4 person town block that I have faith in for now. Game's rather slow.

I literally just gave my reads on 6 to 7 people that have been posting a bit.

And my town reads are just fine, unless you disagree with me? Ansa is bleeding town, that's my strongest read, yes. But Michelle and SK are right behind. They're still town reads, just to a lesser degree of confidence.

There's nothing worse for a mafia to experience then someone clearing their mislynch options. They'll crumble under pressure and will out themselves in the process.

I find this as more of an attempt to get under ansa good side. Because I think everyone will agree that kyte is not looking too hot right now. Giving someone extra townie points because of that is very iffy my friend.
