to avoid it you should have said "i use _____to clear the smoke" or "i exit the smoke"
2)your clone cannot just 'suck up' my attack, you need to block it by jutsu
3)clones cannot do jutsu​

Bold: Lightning Surge is short range, you were at mid.

And doesn't lightning fang require preexisting clouds? And since you never stated that the terrain was never cloudy and you never made clouds, how'd you use this?
