Life

Kenshin Uesugi was born in February at Kasugayama in Echigo province, the 4th son of Tamekage Nagao (who was a strong Samurai of the Iron Land), though he serves Konohakagure but he still remains a Samurai following Samurai's morals and laws.His father trained Kenshin in kenjutsu, Kenshin at the age 13 had knowledge for kenjutsu and was familiar with its tactics even though, he didn't master it. When Kenshin was fifteen he was placed in joint command of Tochio castle. Here he was attacked by rebels of the Uesugi, but he soundly defeated them, earning the young man a reputation, when he was going home, a peasant told him that his father and his brothers were disappered, he was deeply saddened and left the Iron Land swearing that one day he would find his family again. After 3 years he showed himself as a skilled warrior and a kenjutsu master at the battle of Toyama where the Hokage employed him as a mercenary, Hokage saw Kenshin's abilities and employed him as the commander of the border-army and was often at war with the Takeda and Hojo. Kenshin fought Shingen Takeda five times at Kawanakajima. Kenshin is famed for his honourable conduct, his military expertise, a long-standing rivalry with Takeda Shingen, his numerous campaigns to restore order in the Kanto region as the Kanto Kanrei, and his belief in the Buddhist god of war — Bishamonten. In fact, many of his followers and others believed him to be the Avatar of Bishamonten, and called Kenshin god of war. He said that if Konoha's army would fight with the Samurai of the Iron Land, he wouldn't fight alongside Konoha since he respects the village where he was born and it's people. Kenshin stills fights alongside Konohakagure but still remembers his true identity and where he belongs, never forgetting about the Iron Land and his Samurai way.
