[Discussion] Dragon is the strongest After Roger

Every single Era has its "most feared man". And I believe Dragon is the currently the strongest man in One piece verse. And the only person who could give him a challenge is the Chief-in- Commander Kong.

This is not some fanboyism or w.e. But in One piece strength is determined by the bounty.

For example, as luffy gets stronger his bounty also increases, mere coincidence? i don't think so.

I mean look at the first time we get a glimpse of his power:

I mean just look at where he was, and where he was standing. He basically created a at least 50ft deep trench. And the length was tremendous.

Now, not only that , but as I mentioned above, the most feared men and the most wanted men are the strongest men in One Piece. So it is only fair to say He is strongest.

PS: I really hope Kong gets more of a minister (administrator or whatever) kinda role because I would like the Admirals and the fleet admiral to be the Navys strongest force

Blackbeard is new school, Dragon has been doing what he has been doing for quite a while now. And also, to lead a team of revolutionaries you require strength to keep them in check. The "captain/Leader" is always the strongest.

nah Shanks is = to Mihawk in swordsmanship, nowhere has it ever been stated that hes a swordsman, stronger than Mihawk overall
also you can kinda speculate his strength from his arrival in Marineford, yes everyone there was exhausted but that doesnt change the fact that they still had the 3 admirals, Garp and Sengoku

Sengoku called of the war, we cant assume that Shanks would have won but we can speculate that Sengoku assumed that at best they would win with severe casualties

also BB decided to take on the Navy and sink Marineford right there an then after he got WBs powers but he turned and went away when shanks came

though we can only speculate about shanks and mihawk similarly as with Dragon

Dragon is certainly strong and perhaps at the very top but Shanks at least atm is there with him at least, and BB will be soon if he isnt yet, there is also Garp which is Dragons father and at the very least hes slightly weaker than Dragon

Yes bounty is a very good indicator of power but IT DOESNT EQUAL power, there is always the possibilities that your bounty rises because you are so bloodthirsty that you massacre everyone or that your bounty stagnates because the Marines dont know what everything you did and ofc it also depends on your actions

there are several variables that the bounty is based on:
strength
your past actions
how dangerous you are deemed to be for the government
who you are allied/related to
...

so you cant say that bounty=strength because IN FACT bounty=/=strength

Yeah I think Dragon could probably beat anyone in a 1 on 1 battle at the moment.

On another note a bounty isn't just based on strength it's based on the threat they possess to the government like how Robin got a 79 million bounty on her at the age of 8.

I think it's because WB is known for his strength and Dragon is mostly known for being some guy that leads an army which overthrow kingdoms and such.

we have no idea how strong kong is , i am certain dragon is of yonkou level , i can see dragon being top five strongest BUT
bounty does not determine strength

bounty is a sum of: past acts against the world government, behaviours (e.g. killing innocent civilians), feats and strength

basically a higher the reward on a bounty the more hostile a man is to the world government

whatever his powers are , they are certainly VERY strong
