Characteristic to this technique is that actual projectiles are transparent. This means that unlike other katon techniques you can see through them which comes with great advantage. Your opponent won't be able to preform hand seals without you noticing, go underground and similar. This demon like figures can be created anywhere in short range around you.

Perform required seal, Tiger → Horse → Rat → Dog → Tiger. As you finish up with performance of hand seals and focusing chakra within your lungs spew out fire around my clone as you use nature manipulation to generate fire and shape manipulation to form a circle in which center my clone is standing. Now as the circle is formed use shape manipulation once again onto chakra as to form a spider which only task is to kill my clone.

Weaving a few hand seals I gather up katon chakra in my lungs and unleash it as fire toward the enemy which then encircles them and traps them inside of it. As they are trapped the fire quickly transforms into an enormous fiery spider which attacks them and burns their flesh as it does so.

Great technique for trapping and attacking at the same time which gives it numerous advantages to its use. However the technique requires 5 hand seals so it is a bit much for heat of the moment use giving it meh (moderate) speed and making it somewhat useless up close and during the heat of a fight. It is a good technique as an opener though to start a fight.

So overall it has average speed with the 5 hand seal requirement but is great for trapping and attacking.

Channeling katon chakra in my mouth I unleash it as fire and use shape manipulation to create a concentrated stream of fire unleashing it upon my opponent and burning them alive.

So this is just a typical stream technique. It requires no hand seals making its quite useful and very fast. It is important to keep in mind it is a stream and without Y/Y or a clone you can't do anything while you are using it.

Gathering up katon chakra in my arm I wave it forward in a fluid left to right motion emitting a wall of fire that spreads out in short-range in front of me burning up anything that comes in range.

This is a great technique as it creates a wall of fire in short range from your arm. Of course you won't get hurt by the fire as it is your own chakra making it highly useful against incoming attacks and what not.

The speed of this technique is incredibly fast and only requires you wave your arm creating the wall making it very useful at almost any situation in battle as something defensive or to use it as a counter to someone coming into close range of you with taijutus. So overall it is a fantastic technique.

Taking the sword my senpai threw to me I rush at her clone slashing a few times and then jump up into the air channeling katon chakra into my gullet releasing a fireball down upon the clone finishing it off and killing it.

So its a pretty meh technique because you have to slash first and the cuts actually have to connect to successfully use the katon which makes it pretty mehhhhhhhhhhh.

Other than that it is a fast technique that does require you to be in short-range however as the fireball requires no handseals. So as I said. Pretty meh.

Weaving a single hand seal gathering my katon chakra I unleash a a stream of fire that rushes toward your clone's feet and as it reaches it I apply shape manipulation to create an enormous column of flame incinerating my target.

So this is like the last one where you release the flame and create a pillar/column from it around the target and killing them. Its the same rank so I don't see much of an advantage to using this over the last one...especially considering this is just short range and requires one hand seal.

The technique itself requires a single hand seal and as such makes it a bit slow to use in close range but still perfectly viable.

Weaving the hand seals necessary for Sixteen Pillar Bind I cause an enormous oven to erupt from the ground and then weave additional hand seals while gathering katon chakra burning my target inside the oven.

Meh. I won't use this often since I don't use raiton a lot. But nonetheless it basically creates an oven out of a condensed space from the sixteen pillar bind combining both raiton and katon making it very hard to counter. You can't use wind since the katon overpowers wind and you can't use suiton to stop the fire as you'd electrocute yourself.


Now thing with this jutsu is that it can only be performed if you use sixteen pillars been beforehand. And both techniques require hand seals so it is quite slow and takes quite a bit of set up making this a pretty situational technique.

For next two technique, you'll need to have contact with the ground in one way or another for them to completely work.



Perform sequence of 3 hand seals,Rat → Dog → Tiger , and release from your mouth a fire ball as you use nature and shape manipulation. Now once this fire balls come into contact with ground it will burst into a giant fire storm. When it comes to Intelligent Hard Work, the contact with the ground is needed as the fireball will burst once it touches it.

Weaving a quick sequence of 3 hand seals I open my mouth after molding my katon chakra and unleash a tiny fire ball that strikes the ground and erupts into an enormous fire storm of chaos and destruction obliterating anything within the area.

So one quick question. The technique says "surface". Surface is very broad and I assume it can even mean the chest of a person. Or does it HAVE to be the ground?

This is a pretty fast technique. It only requires three hand seals and it is launched from your mouth making it pretty quick. I really like how it is a small fire ball instead of some massive blast initially as the size of it allows for some creative counters and uses.

Channeling my katon chakra into my leg I stomp the ground causing an enormous tunnel to open up beneath me and then channeling the katon chakra through that tunnel I apply shape manipulation to create an enormous amount of lava and molten rock beneath my opponent and then, performing a single hand seal, cause that molten rock to erupt from beneath my opponent.

This is a cool technique cause in a way it is doton + katon as you first open the tunnel up. Although it doesn't actually mention doton chakra so it could just be katon chakra .-.

Basically you stomp your foot and create a pool of molten rock underneath the opponent which is cool because it is in a way a pseudo lava-release technique. So then after doing this you perform a single hand seal causing it to erupt and engulf the target and burn them alive. So once again really cool and useful. The only catches to this technique are that the opponent will be able to feel the vibrations beneath them giving them some hint of what is about to happen.

This is a pretty fast technique as the stomping itself requires no hand seals. You just have to perform one single hand seal when you wish to cause the eruption which, from the sound of the technique, doesn't actually have to happen immediately after the stomp.

For the second speed is medium I believe. Firstly stomping your foot and forming the tunnel then releasing katon chakra. One more disadvantage when it comes to that jutsu is that once you create a tunnel you can not change its direction in any way. Now this means that if your opponent changes position on which he was standing before you perform a single hand seal and release the debris you'd pretty much waste a slot of jutsus.

This next jutsu is used in combination with wind technique.
Focus your katon chakra within your upper body,mouth and gullet before you release it. Using nature manipulation to generate fire and using shape manipulation to form flames that you'll discharge them onto the ground in front of you. As you do perform a swift wind technique to enhance the fire and burn down my clone!

Molding katon chakra within my chest I send it to my gullet and release the fire and apply shape manipulation to cause that stream to be discharged and focused on the ground. As it burns the ground before my opponent I then release wind causing it to expand in range engulfing my opponent.

Very fast technique to release the fire and fast to perform the wind. It is key to remember this is a two step technique meaning you ignite the ground first and then release the wind to cause it to expand and engulf the target.

This being a two step technique offers some advantages. You don't actually have to release the wind you can simply use it to burn the ground if that is helpful. That is a nice advantage to this technique as it does offer versatility. The second is that this is in effect an elemental combination putting together wind and fire which are natural pairs in that wind enhances the fire and makes it far more powerful.

Channeling katon chakra in my mouth I release the fire. Using shape manipulation to form it into an enormous fireball that once it comes in contact with my senpai's clone bursts into a chaotic maelstrom of flames leaving nothing behind but a pile of burnt earth and smoke.

Really fast technique as you only have to release the fireball from your mouth with no hand seals.

It is powerful as it not only hits the target and burns them but explodes into a maelstrom of flame. This is a double edged sword meaning that if you use this too close to yourself you run the risk of blowing yourself up too. Very powerful technique that is extremely useful. The technique is so large that the fireball can actually conceal your position from your opponent's line of sight.

The speed is fast as it is used with a stomp which can be done with running making it useful to engage in taijutsu as you begin a sprint toward your opponent using the pillars as a distraction and then releasing them.

As I said it is incredibly fast which is a huge advantage. This technique is incredibly potent and useful allowing you to do so many things with it such as distractions, simple things like causing the pillar to come up under the target and blocking a target's route of escape.

Performing the tiger hand seal I gather katon chakra in my gullet and release the fire. Using shape manipulation I create the fire into dragon head shaped fireballs. The fireball rushes toward my target and impacts them almost as if they were struck by a solid object since the fire is so condensed.

Very fast technique since it only requires one hand seal. The fire is solid and compressed meaning that it deals physical blunt damage to the target as well as burning them meaning it can break bones and shatter other important body parts. My favorite part about this jutsu is that you can choose how many you release be it 1, 2, 3, or 5. Just it is important to note the strength goes down with each one released.

Performing a single hand seal I focus an enormous amount of katon chakra in my upper body and send it to my mouth. Then I release the fire and apply shape manipulation to focus it as a highly concentrated jet of flames that rush toward my target to engulf the opponent in flames.

This is a very nice and versatile technique. It is very fast as it only requires one hand seal to release the stream and maintain it.

It is extremely versatile in terms of concentration being able to release a super concentrated stream or something that is enormous in range to encompass a wide range of the battlefield in front of the user.

Weaving a fast sequence of 4 hand seals I focus katon chakra in my gullet and release it in the form of multiple fireballs that are directed towards the sky that arc down and strike my opponent's location in a shower of meteors striking them and leaving enormous fire vortexes and maelstroms on their landing site.

Powerful and moderately fast technique that requires 4 hand seals. It requires you shoot the fireballs into the sky however slowing the technique down significantly as it has to travel upwards and then back down right away. So it is kinda meh in regards to speed.

The technique has some advantages in that you can release up to 8 fireballs and that they create maelstroms/vortexes when they impact.

Very fast technique that only requires you to grab a scroll from your pouch.

The advantage to this is simply speed. It is an enormous projectile that is incredibly powerful capable of burning through most defenses and what not. It is released from the scroll instead of your body as well which allows you to release it in some unique ways compared to simply releasing it from your mouth.

Gathering up katon chakra and grabbing a scroll at the same time I send the katon chakra to my scroll-carrying hand and open the scroll up releasing an enormous fire dragon from the scroll which rushes toward my opponent engulfing them in an enormous explosion of fire and destruction after it attaches itself to them similarly to a paper bomb.

Gathering an enormous amount of katon chakra in my lungs I perform a single hand seal and exhale the enormous amount of fire and apply shape manipulation to create a massive wall like fire. It races forward covering an enormous range melting and burning everything in its path.

Initiating the technique itself is very fast as all you have to do is form a single hand seal. It is quite a slow moving wall though that relies on the enormous range of the technique itself to ensure the destruction. Speed is certainly not its strong point.

The advantage to this is the sheer width and height of the technique making it highly difficult to avoid through evasive abilities.

Weaving a quick sequence of 7 hand seals I gather up once again an enormous amount of katon chakra in my lungs. Once this is complete I exhale it and apply shape manipulation creating an enormous flame thrower that dwarfs the size of Susanoo and similar constructs causing it to burn an enormous amount of land.

In contrast to the initiation of the previous technique this one actually requires a fair amount of hand seals. So it does make it quite cumbersome in that sense to perform. However, once used the stream is fairly fast and also huge in range making it quite potent and destructive.

This has a similar advantage to the previous technique as it is also quite large and good for combating summons due to its incredible size making it very, very huge and hard to evade. The simple disadvantage to this is that it does require a few hand seals to perform and since it is so large and intense the user would have to be wary of short-range usage.
