Glad I didn't miss the flaming mud bullets class :D
( Katon: Hibashiri ) - Fire Release: Running Fire
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal by utilizing their fire chakra, the user will create a stream of fire that can be manipulated into several forms (rings of fire that runs on the ground or a circle of fire flying through the air) before striking the target. It can also be used in combination with Wind Release: Divine Wind to create a tornado of flames, or with Wind Release: Godly Wind from the Mountains to release a massive inferno. The stream of fire can be created by stomping the ground (running across the ground in this case) or by spewing the flames (which will form an airborne ring of flames that will travel towards the enemy).

Ok, so this is a ground technique. Basically, you spit fire from your mouth aimed at the ground and you manipulate it to create a circle around your opponent. However, it also has another use where you spit it as a stream of fire that's traveling through the air. As mentioned in the description, it can be used very well with certain wind techniques and I'm sure there are even more that would be suitable. The circle is mostly useful to contain your opponent's movements within the circle so that you can set up a larger scale jutsu and have a greater chance of hitting.

So I'll start by molding more spiritual and physical energy together to create raw chakra which I'll send to my lungs and use nature transformation to heat up to turn it into fire chakra. Then, using the fire chakra, I'll expel it from my mouth as a stream of fire. Here is where I have a few options. I can apply shape manipulation to transform the fire into a ring of fire which travels through the air, I can use it as a running stream of fire that then separates into a ring of fire around the opponent, or I can combine it with fuutons.

So this is cool. It seems like a very versatile technique. So with the ring of fire use you can use it to manipulate an opponent's counter and limit mobility which is very helpful in placing your next attack. So it gives you some options. Since it is a ring of fire it will block the opponent's vision of you and they can't use any technique that pushes them forward without burning themselves extremely badly. So this means you can use a raiton that pierces through the flames. This is cool because they won't see it coming and raitons are very very fast so it means they most likely will get hit. You could follow up by attacking them from below with something that grabs at them or by striking from above. You could even combine this with mud earth techniques that fly through the wall and ignite and impact the target. You can also use this with a lot of fuuton techniques. Fuuton feeds flames so it will create larger and stronger flames. While the technique states a few of them a lot of fuutons will have similar affects to them so it isn't limited to just those.

The one major disadvantage to this technique is that since it travels on the ground the opponent will have time to evade it and counter it before the flame ring is fully set up.

Forgot the quote tags, did we? xD I was like why did you rewrite everything I said and then I realized. LOL

But the same way it blocks their vision of you, it blocks your vision of them. Due to this, it's not always easy to pinpoint their location precisely. So, the conclusion is to use a larger scale technique as I already said. Using precise jutsus that are supposed to grab "something" where you last saw the opponent is pretty much a gamble. If he does decide to move, then you wasted a technique. My ideal suggestion is to follow up with the antlion for example, with its edges where the fire runs around (I'm mainly focusing on the ground version because the other one is generic and boring). This way, it would start sucking in the opponent and even move the fire inwards as it does so, collapsing it upon the sinking opponent and creating a powerful, fire-earth combo. With this you get basically 3 dangers. First one is the opponent being confined in the earth as he's being sucked in, second is the burning fire collapsing upon him and the last is the heated earth that would burn his body as he's confiscated along with the fire.

Opps xD.

Good point about the Antlion. That would be chakra efficient and useful as you could even say (on top of the burning ground) that the air around them will quickly heat up and progressively make it harder to breath if they stay inside of it.

( Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user will perform four handseals Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger , and breathe fire along a cord or any other type of long object, which rushes forward in straight line catching the enemy on fire. A line of enemies can be used as the conductor as well. The flames are meant to target, and assault the enemy's upper body just like a projectile weapon.

This is the technique that Sasuke used against Naruto when they were fighting at the valley of the death. Naruto was hiding behind a big boulder and Sasuke threw some ninja tools with strings attached to them and they wrapped around the boulder and trapped Naruto. Then Sasuke exhaled the fire along the cord and they headed towards Naruto. Basically, this is the way to use the technique, not really too much to it. It's amazing in combination with quite a lot of techniques from the ninjutsu list where you manipulate the tools with cords, etc. The only problem is the amount of handseals but that can be reduced with affinities.

I love how this technique can use a line of enemies as a conductor to keep it moving, lol. I can just imagine a perfect line of shadow clones or a few enemies in a single battle just lined up so perfectly for this to be used xD.

So to start off I'll mold my spiritual and physical energies together to create raw chakra. At this point I'll move the chakra to my lungs and weave the Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger hand seals while applying nature transformation to create katon chakra. Then I'll throw a few shuriken, each with a thin metal wire attached to wrap around my opponent. This can be done in combination with a ninjutsu technique as you mentioned or done freeform. Then once wrapped up I'll exhale the fire onto the cable and have it head straight for their upper body which will be engulfed in the flame and kill them with a direct hit.

So nice combination technique. The advantages to this technique is that you can use it pretty well in combination with a wire. Additionally the conductor as the technique says can be a line of bodies. If it is the latter it is a pretty intense and gruesome way to go lol. Regardless, if you do manage to wrap an opponent up with it you can easily send this up the wire. Since it is fire it will move fairly quickly (although not as fast as wind or lightning). The wire directs the fire stream toward the opponent so it doesn't require much aiming on the user's part as long as the target is wrapped up.

Unfortunately this technique has a few disadvantages as well. The long string of hand seals makes it a bit meh. There are other fire techniques that can be just as devastating with fewer to no hand seals. And I have no intention on taking fire release as my specialty or mastery. So the hand seals won't really help out much. Additionally if you use wire freeform to wrap an opponent up they can just block the tool which would interrupt the move. But if you use a ninjutsu attack to compensate for that disadvantage then they have to use a technique to protect themselves and they can't defend against it freeform.

Overall it is an okay technique. I probably won't use it too much simply cause I don't plan on taking fire release as a specialty/mastery and at the moment I have no ninjutsu training. Still makes for some interesting combinations though if you do manage to wrap an opponent in wire.

I agree. Imagine this as a combination. You take out a shiruken with a wire attached to it, unbeknownst to your opponent and you throw it. Then you follow up with a wind gust that speeds up the shuriken and they blast together into the opponent. However, in the last moment you breathe fire along the wire and it sets the gust ablaze, surprising your opponent and creating a powerful combination. :)

Sounds awesome. They'd probably metagame the hell out of it to save themselves but nonetheless something I'm going to try out down the road :p

But no seriously I like that combination. You could disguise the shuriken by saying you use the fuuton to pick up a significant amount of dust and what as well so its even harder for them to see it. Unless they are a dojutsu user.

In the last ruling from Scorps, he said that the technique that picks up dust wouldn't be strong enough to overpower a fire technique of lower rank because it's basically only dust, or something like that. Can't rememer exactly, but my suggestion is to not use the dust technique for any combos, except for specifically that, picking up dust and blocking the opponent's vision.

Couldn't you freeform it with a larger fuuton(and higher ranked)? Saying a large scale one picks up the dust and particles from the ground in the blast anyway?

You could if it there was dust on the field. However, the dust technique kinda makes its own dust thus why the ruling.

Alright, makes sense.
( Katon: Karyūdan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user exhales a flame breath from their mouth after making the tiger hand seal. This technique can be used in conjunction with Earth Release: Earth Dragon Bullet to ignite the projectiles fired by the latter technique, making it more devastating.

Bullet this, bullet that... that's basically every fire technique, lol. Following the same principle for the 100th time, you exhale fire from your mouth. Now, this is not a stream and it's actually a projectile and it allows you to ignite several other projectiles. This is the technique that the 3rd Hokage used when fighting Orochimaru. He threw the mud balls at him and then he ignited them, making a nasty combination. Obviously, this is not the only combination you can do with this technique. Since it's kinda specialized for igniting stuff, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to make a fire and wind combination with a tornado. Simply set it ablaze and watch as the blazing tornado rampages towards the opponent.

Bullets are cool and stuff U_U.

So I'll mold my spiritual and physical energies together to create raw chakra which I'll apply nature transformation to in my lungs to heat up and create katon chakra. Then I'll exhale the fire in the form of bullets by applying shape manipulation to them from my mouth.

So as you said the advantages to this technique is it makes a great technique to make some bsaic combinations with. With the example of Hiruzen he used the mud and fire combination to give the fire impact force since naturally fire has no physical impact. This makes it create to possibly break bones depending on the technique that you combine with it. And of course with impact force you also will still burn them as it is naturally still fire. So and of course building on the wind combination you can easily just ignite a tornado to increase the fire's strength with the fuuton. This will give it a cutting and burning effect which is also great.

So the disadvantages to this technique. Alone it isn't very powerful. I mean of course it will still burn on contact which is good. But the technique itself carries no 'umph' behind it. So that's why it is important to use it in combination with other techniques so you can get that extra boost it needs. And it is very important to note that the technique can release multiple projectiles. So this means as normal with multiple projectile techniques that the more you make the weaker they are individually. So 2 would be D-Rank each and 4 would be E-Rank each and etc. They would still burn, however. And their total strength would always come back to C-Rank.

Exactly, most of these simple techniques are not very useful on their own because they're not powerful enough, but they give you a wide variety of possible combinations and different uses. That's important because sometimes a weird scenario will happen on the battlefield and you'll have to opt for bizarre counters. Trust me, it happens regularly, so it's always a good think to have some simple yet effective combinations ready to deploy.

( Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user first performs six hand seals Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger and they create a volley of small fireballs, which are sent flying in an unpredictable manner assaulting the enemy. In addition, the flames are controlled one by one with chakra, so avoiding them all is extremely difficult. Shuriken can also be concealed within the flames, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. Like the flames, the shuriken can be controlled with chakra. For the most part, however, this technique is used as a distraction.

Distraction technique. Well, alright. It is, but it works just as well as an offensive technique. Due to the way it's performed, in the shape of a cone that spreads outwards from you it's not as easy to avoid. Basically, it covers a large area. On top of that, you can control the fireballs with chakra so it makes it even harder. The one cool thing about it is the fact that you can even use shuriken in a combination, and although you can control them with chakra as well, I think it would be an awesome idea to have some strings attached to them for a bit more variety. Unfortunately, the technique requires a long string of handseals but as we already covered, it's possible to cut it down by having fire affinity.

Ew. Hand seals for a fire technique + no desire to take a fire specialty U_U.

So I mold together my spiritual and physical energy to create raw chakra in my stomach which I send to my lungs. There, I apply nature transformation to create katon chakra which I then send to my mouth to exhale several fireballs as a volley toward my opponent.

Okay so interesting technique. First off I'll start with a few advantages. While the description says it is a distraction technique this clearly has some offensive uses. Its fire. Like all fire it can burn and severely limit mobility, burn clothes, tags, etc etc. So moving beyond that the most interesting thing about this technique is that so far it is one of the first projectiles I've seen that has some movement control after it has been released. This is interesting for a few reasons. Evasive action becomes a bit harder to pull off here and limits the opponent's viable defenses. This will force a normal opponent to normally use a defensive water wall or some variation of that to protect themselves which will leave them vulnerable to raiton or doton. And as you said the technique can be great for concealing shuriken with wire which makes it very good to tie them up and burn them.

So for disadvantages. It is important to keep in mind with this technique that since the projectiles can controlled after release that they require a flow of chakra. So this means you can't use anymore techniques in that time unless you have a clone or an ally on the field. And of course, with all multiple projectile techniques, each projectile isn't C-Rank in strength. The total combined strength will always come back to C-Rank.
