1-Because Doton is one of the most powerful elements,its techniques carry strong properties as the element is solid and strong,making his defensive techs the best as earth walls. Doton is the most versatile of the 5 basic elements,the nature of the element makes his techs strong in attack too,Doton also can make good combinations with other elements,specially suiton to create mud..

-I take the paper and hold it with my right hand,between my thumb and my index finger,then I begin to channel my chakra into the paper through my fingers..
[The paper used in that kind of training -elements training- is made from a special type of tree,that are grown and fed with chakra,and it reacts depending on the nature of chakra which runs through it]
-After I channel my chakra through that paper,its appearance begins to change gradually..its color begins to change and it's turning slowly into dirt and crumbles away..

Pretty much all you have to do, is gather a small amount of doton chakra, then send the chakra into the ground, then manipulate the earth around you to create small pillars/tools and shields of earth.
The pillars is probably the most useful thing when it comes to this techniques since you can make one under your feet to boost you up into the air if you wish.

-I gather some chakra into my hands,then the chakra turns slowly into doton chakra and then I hit the ground with my hand to release the chakra into the ground.
*small objects of earth rise.This is a rather useful jutsu for such a low rank.

Gather you doton chakra, then send it into the ground below your feet, turning it into a sand like feel, so you can slowly fall into the earth, once underground, find my clone and grab his feet and pull him underground and, pull yourself up.

-I see the clone's place and I then I put my hand on the ground below me,I gather my chakra at my palm and channel it through the ground,the doton chakra turns the ground to be soft,into small particles..
then I dive in the sand to reach to the clone's place,then I grab the clone's ankle with my hand and pull it to the ground then lift my self out and the clone is there at the underground with only the head showing.Nicely done.

-I put my hand on the ground taking the pose to charge my chakra into the ground,I then take a small part of the ground below me and change its shape into a small staff...
I then aim at my target which is a tree within the jutsu range and launch the attack which has a high level of accuracy to reach the tree and make a hole in the middle of it.-Simply I will perform the tech which is only offensive [not officially written that it can be used as defense but its performance can dodge some types of projectiles,by hitting the projectiles while they are in the air making them explode..especially that doton is weak against raiton.
the jutsu performance:
I cup my hands,leaving some space between them..I collect the chakra from every part of my body,directing it to my hands and try hard to maintain it there..the chakra begins to transform into the raiton shape,I see the high frequency chakra I used to see before..

then the shape of the doton changes into large pieces of rock to fly around the clone wrapping it..waving my hand,I change the doton again into two sections of rock which crash into the clone..then the clone disappears.Good.

While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth. While inside the earth, the user cannot make handseals and can only use Earth techniques below C-Rank. If he tries to do a higher ranked technique, he'll disrupt the Hiding like a mole technique and be left crushed.
This one a lot of people use, I want you to channel your doton chakra into the ground right below yourself, changing the earth into fine sand, allowing you to slip down into the earth undetected, but you can't do handseals, but you can do earth based techniques C-rank and below that don't require handseals.
