Perform the technique: Beginning by gathering a huge amount of chakra, i manipulate it, transforming it into earthen nature before slamming my hands to the ground, raising 6 massive walls of solid earth infront of me in a row, leaving a large amount of rock between me and the oponent as shield.
Creative uses/strengths: Very fast moving technique and quite handy against large attacks. The technique itself is quite simple and have no handseals. You can summon the walls all around you if you want, shielding your every side. The walls rise quite fast and are very hard to break.
Drawbacks/counters: You can only raise the walls short range from you, meaning they cant be summoned too far away from you at all. The walls while solid, can be penetrated by powerful enough techniques and as they are so big, they block your vision of the enemy and parts of the battlefield, leaving you open for attack.


Perform the technique: Biting my thumb with the blood sipping out, i perform a string of 5 handseals whilst manipulating my gathered chakra into earthen nature, i slam my hands onto a scroll on the ground, summoning an increadible amount of earth on the ground, changing the previously grassy terrain into a massive field of solid rock.
Creative uses/strengths: The technique has sooo many uses, both offensively, defensively and supplementary. Changing parts of or the entire terrain into your desire is increadibly useful and you can use this to completly take over the battle and corner the oponent into close combat or push him back into the distance. The technique has an increadible range and a variety of uses.
Drawbacks/counters: The worst thing about this is most likely the fact that it takes quite the time to summon the earth. You gotta bite your thumb, perform 5 seals then summon it on a scroll, takes quite a few secs to do. It can only be used once too so you'd have to think your plan through cause you only got one chance.

Perform the technique: Following up on the previous technique, i perform annother string of handseals (2) whilst using chakra manipulation, manipulating it into Doton. With the canyon layed as a rocky field, i pump my chakra through every inch of it, causing it ti reshape, building itself upwards and above me, now turning the terrain into a massive tunnel of earth. The cave was increadibly large and the "roof" stretched up many meters.
Creative uses/strengths: Gives you 3 more oportunities to change your created terrain. The field itself is huge and you can mold it to your own desire. Now i think if the oponent was to destroy your cave, you can just perform this technique and rebuild it or create say a mountain so this technique is increadibly useful as it allows you to change your strategy if the oponent adapts to it.
Drawbacks/counters: 2 handseals kinda slows it down a tad. I reckon it'd take a bit of time for the earth to alter the terrain and i think you must maintain focus on the technique while it does so that leaves you open for an attack.

(Doton: Iwa no Goremu) – Earth Release: Stone Golem

Description: The user expels a large creature composed of stone from his mouth. The rock golem has a fair amount of stamina and brute strength, being able to bite and tear off flesh with its mouth and hands respectively. If used from above the target then the user can use the earth golem to drop down onto the opponent like a bomb and crush them. The golem can also devour earth structures and other enemy attacks, biting and chewing on it.

A very powerful technique. The user will spew out doton golem straight out their mouth. This technique can be used anywhere short range at any time with very quick execution which makes it a very handy technique. The user will constantly send chakra towards the golem which in turn controls the golem's movement. You can virtually do anything with the Golem, you can send it towards the opponent as a distraction, or even with force as a projectile based attack. A draw back includes the golem requires a solid base for movement, also you must remain concentrated towards the golem. I think its best to have a clone control it before hand. The golem is not the fastest runner but it has serious strength it can easily break bones with a punch and lift heavy things.

(Doton: Yomi Numa) - Earth Style: Swamp of the Underworld

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

Another one of my most favorite jutsus. The user after performing two hand seals will summon a mud swamp made of the same type of mud adhesive that is very sticky as well as non-flammable. You can summon the size of the mud however you want. The mud is mixed with your chakra so it will constantly sap away the opponents strength so staying in to long can knock you unconscious. The mud can easily take on more then one enemy as well. Its a great ground attack and simple to summon taking almost no time to appear. It has no serious attack ability but if you sink into the mud you will suffocate to death, this jutsu is very combo friendly as well. Its great for distraction play as well as anticipation. Lastly if you are caught the best jutsus include water jutsus that shoot you upward for evasion or even nagashi to negate the mud so you can walk through it.

(Doton: Dosenki) - Earth Release: Mudslide Technique

Description: After performing a sequence of three hand seals Dog → Ram → Boar the user then creates a small wall of earth to rise up from the ground infront of them and cause a mud slide to form from the wall and directs it towards the enemy target/s to try engulf them.

One of my favorite jutsus. After doing the hand seals the opponent will create a small wall, a normal sized one that is slightly larger then the user. The user will then punch the ground or manipulate the wall to release a large amount of mud to slide off of the wall straight towards the opponent. Its a great jutsu to use for defense as well as attack at the same time. Its sheer size can cause terrain damage and make the area into mud. The crash is powerful enough to push the opponent back and seriously break some bones. Its great to use to stop large summons as well. Its a simple jutsu to create but it takes some time for the mud to fall off. The wall raises normally. Lastly you must be on the ground.

Perform the technique: Beginning by gathering chakra in my lungs, i manipulate it, transforming it into earth, using chakra manipulation. As i feel that i have a good amount piled up, i open my mouth as i gather the chakra in my mouth, spewing out a huge amount of rock, using shape manipulation to create a large golem made of solid rock. Controlling the golem with my chakra, i have it smashing sensei's clone with his hand.
Creative uses/strengths: Alot of freedom with the golem, you can use it to do anything. Stand on its head and have it carrying you around, destroy earthen structures with it and even using it as shield against enemy attacks. THe golem itself is really powerfull, it can crush enemies with its hands and destroy just about anything.
Drawbacks/counters: The main drawback with this is probably the fact that you must maintain controll of the golem at all times, leaving yourself open for attack. The golem itself is created short range of you since you spew it out so you cant create it away from yourself. You can destoy the golem with a large powerful lightningtechnique or (i think) cut its head off with chidori spear.


Perform the technique: Gathering chakra in my body, i perform the string of 2 handseals before manipulating my chakra, transforming it into earth. Releasing it by pumping my chakra into the earth, i transform the nature of the ground beneath to mimic that of a swamp, with my chakra in it. The swamp would form midrange away from me, under senseis clone, sinking him beneath the surface before suffocating him to death.
Creative uses/strengths: Most of the counters to this technique involve pushing yourself upwards somehow, a good followup to this would be an arial technique. The swamp covers a massive area and can catch multiple foes at once as well as large summons. The swamp forms very fast and is a great setup technique.
Drawbacks/counters: Now since it covers such massive range, you have to be careful not to create it near yourself as you would be caught in it yourself as well. A good counter is Baksui shoha, flooding the field and raising yourself up from the swamp at once.


Perform the technique: I begin by performing the 3 nescessary handseals whilst gathering and manipulating my chakra using chakra manipulation, transforming it into earth. Gathering the correct amount, i release it by pumping it to the ground infront of me, raising a wall slightly bigger than myself. The front of the wall would crumble and transform into a huge amount of mud that would then slide off the wall, falling down on the ground and moving forward towards sensei's clone, engulfing and drowning him under the mud.
Creative uses/strengths: The wall can be used both as a shield and to attack afterwards so its kinda a 2 in 1 which is nice. Despite the wall being not so large, it produces quite a large amount of mud , capable of even drowning enemies and the flow of mud can even reach mid range. the crash of mud packs quite the force.
Drawbacks/counters: Now the 3 handseals kinda slows the technique down and afterwards it takes a moment for the earth to turn into mud and if raised infront of you, the wall would block your view of the oponent. The enemy cant be too far away from you once you perform this technique as the mud only reaches midrange.

(Doton: Dochubaku) - Earth Release: Landslide Technique

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra to create the earth infront of them to turn to a lose like quality by slamming his hands on the ground to create a landslide that is directed towards the enemy target in the form of a wave of earth.

A basic tech but is pretty nice. The user will quickly, with no hand seals manipulate the earth upfront on them to loosen its quality almost making it more softer. With a slam of the hands on the ground they will manipulate the ground to quickly form into a wave of tough debris and mud which creates almost a landslide which is sent towards the opponent like a wave of earth. It has the destructive property to easily cut and push down trees with ease and still continue forward. Its a very fast moving technique, hard to evade. Its also location based, its best to use in a forest. Its a loud technique so not so good for snick attacks neither.

(Doton: Kujo Joushou Iwa Chuuseki) - Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars

Description: This jutsu causes gigantic pillars of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground. This is a even greater scaled Earth Release: Rising Spikes and is large enough to impale a summoning technique.

A simple but quite the effective jutsu indeed. The user will summon a gigantic pillar of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground around any location the user desires. Its quite the large jutsu and difficult to evade when it begins to emerge. It makes a loud noise as well as the ground will become dense signalling it rising so that can be a window of evasion. Its great to use for combos to attack in all flanks of the opponent. If the opponent is caught the will be hurt as well as launched in the air with force, mid-air they are left vulnerable and open for attacks. Its a great jutsu to use against summons and is tall enough to attack an opponent air-borne. The pillar when it begins to rises is very fast as well as while it rises you can go onto the next tech. Simple evasions as well as cracking the large pillar using lightning would be best.

(Doton: Chidokaku) - Earth Release: Moving Earth Core

Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

Okay this is a handy jutsu indeed. The user will have complete control of the ground and will be able to raise or lower the ground by 20 meters. With it you can create walls to block attacks or evade them. You can capture enemies by lowering the ground. Also a note is in the manga when used against Madara he actually stumbled due to the sudden rise of the ground, so you can easily catch an opponent off and have a clone or ally send an attack making life difficult for the opponent. You can alter the terrain as well with it. It has no serious offensive abilities but its main purpose is the supplement yourself in battle. Also for every time you move the ground it counts as a turn so be weary. Also by the time the ground fully erects it will take several seconds. (3-5s) depending just how high you set it. 20 meters is the limit but you have control just how long you want to raise it.

Perform the technique: Starting my move by gathering chakra in my core, manipulating it using chakra manipulation to take the shape and nature of earth. Once this process is complete, i release it into the ground, manipulating the earth infront of me to loosen its material, making it softer instantly. Once finished, i slam my hands to the earth beneath me sending a wave of mud and debris forward with fast speed, headed towards sensei's clone, capturing and forcefully pushing the clone back, struck by the landslide.
Creative uses/strengths: It's quite the powerful technique, it reaches increadible distances and affects quite the large area, making it difficult to evade. Causes great deal of damage to the terrain as well, almost changing it entirely depending on where you are. A good use would be to prepare an attack from behind the oponent first, before performing this one, striking him from both angles, catching him inbetween the 2 techs. Requires no handseals and is quite fast to use.
Drawbacks/counters: It's quite the solid technique so not that many drawbacks really. Can easily be evaded by going airborne though.. I suppose powerful lightning techniques can negate and stop the wave of earth? Not sure there. Other than that, not much to say. pretty solid one.

Perform the technique: I begin by gathering a huge amount of chakra in my body. once i feel that i have a good amount piled up, i manipulate it, transforming it into doton. as im done with this, i pump my chakra into the ground, summoning a massive earthen spike to erupt beneath the oponent, almost instantly bursting out with speed, damaging the legs of the clone before sending him airborne, leaving him open for attack.
Creative uses/strengths: Has a great range, although you cant be too close when using it cause you'd be caught in it yourself as well. Requires no handseals to perform and you can move on to the next techn once the pillar erupts, making this quite the fast performing technique. Can be used to impale large summons which is nice. Leaves the oponent open airborne if caught in the technique and may potentially break his legs by the force of the technique.
Drawbacks/counters: Now a drawback is that you cant use it with the oponent close range of you. Annother crucial one is the ground beneath the oponent hardening once the technique is performed, right before the pillar bursts out. This gives the oponent a heads up of what is to come and a small wiindow to counter your technique. If, by any chance, evasions would take too much time, you can simply await the pillar and destroy it with lightning, as you mentioned.

Perform the technique: Right afterwards i gather even more chakra, manipulating it using chakra manipulation, transfomring it into doton. Once i have a great amount gathered, i slam my hands into the ground and pump my chakra through it, instantly lowering a 4 meter wide and 4 meter long amount of the ground with speed, sinking it down about 15 meters beneath the surface, with sensei's clone in the center.
Creative uses/strengths: This technique has many purposes. You can, for example, sink the opponent down into the earth and trap him before attacking him from the surface, making it hard to evade as he is trapped. You can send him high into the sky on a pillar, taking distance from him or you can raise a thick wall to evade an upcoming technique. or you can lower/raise yourself if you want. endless possibilities here. It has a great range, requires no handseals and is very fast to perform.
Drawbacks/counters: This honestly depends on the situation and how the technique is used tbvh. for example, if you raise an oponent into the air, he can just...jump back down or even attack you from above, where he has a better view. If you lower him into the ground, he might merge with the earth and go for a sneak attack. If you raise a protective wall infront of you, you lose your vision of the field. Like i said, it depends on the situation.

(Doton: Kajugan no Jutsu): Earth Style: Added Weight Rock Technique

Description: The user will perform the Snake handseal and touch a given target (he needs to use his hands in most cases but can release the technique through his whole body if needed) for a small time frame. Upon doing so, he'll use the earth chakra to increase the weight of the target drastically. The technique can increase the targets weight up to 10 times. One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

One of the very unique and famous jutsus. The user will perform one hand seal and staying in contact with the object he will insert his doton chakra into the object and manipulate it in a way that the very same object will increase in mass. This will increase the weight of the object up to ten times more then the usual weight. This can easily restrict that very object or persons movement dramatically. Moving will be almost impossible. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. In all other cases, only weight is added. So energy based attacks will not added in weight. Also this can easily be used on oneself or object to increase its power and impact. So its awesome for close range but you will sacrifice your speed because of it. Unless releasing the jutsu itself then the weight will remain on the object and/or person for two turns. Its a good jutsu but has many drawbacks as well be sure to use wisely.

(Doton: Keijugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Light Weight Rock Technique

Description: Contrary to its counterpart (the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique), instead of making the target heavier, this technique makes it much lighter, though still using the same principle and mechanics. The user will make direct contact with the given target (through his hands), infusing them with earth chakra and lowering their weight drastically. The technique can lower a targets weight up to 10 times less than it originally had. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The technique can be used on the user or other shinobi to increase their speed, but as a consequence of using it this way, it results in the decrease of the physical force of their blows. The same principle applies if used on a physical attack wich will be faster but will carry less momentum and as such, less physical damage. It doesn't change the "strength" of binding techniques (like Sand Release), where the user is manipulating a dynamic element but will decrease the impact damage of techniques that rely on it.
Note: The initial effects last for 2 turns or until countered.

The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person up to ten times lighter then the usual weight. This jutsu when used in battle either lowering your own mass or a mass of an object exchanges the impact power for blazing speed. Its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. You can also increase your own speed to evade certain attacks with ease. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to so little mass you will have less of an impact in certain jutsus as well as most taijutsus. Be very weary of that.

( Doton: Iwarin Heiban ) - Earth Release: Rock Scale Slab

Description: The user will knead their earth chakra into their stomach and then release from their mouth earthly material that then forms into a large slab of rock, that can travel with incredible force. On impact with the ground the slab forces the earth to splinter and jab anyone caught in the vicinity.

One of the more basic jutsus of the A-Ranks. No hand seals and very easy to perform. The user will spew out earth material and set on the ground. The material will turn into a slab of rock and then the user will manipulate it to travel with force towards the opponent. This is a hefty jutsu able to crush and push the opponent back breaking bones and seriously handicapping the opponent. Its main advantage is its raw power. It can also act as a defense blocking attacks and then continue for an attack. It can knock out anything its path and when sent with force acts as a projectile technique. Its straightforward technique and the shape manipulation will take some time.

As i feel that i have the right amount, i manipulate it, transforming it into Doton whilst simoultaniously waving the single, nescessary Snake handseal. Once done with this, i pick up a small rock and pump my chakra into it. Imidiately the weight of the rock drastically increases and i struggle to keep holding it in my palm.
Creative uses/strengths: So many different ways to use it and things/people to use it on making this technique quite a versatile one. You could use the technique on yourself to improve the impact force of your punches, use it on enemies to slow them down. If you perform techniques of earthen nature, you can use this to increase the weight of them, making them heavier and more powerfull.
Drawbacks/counters: In order to increase the weight of someone or something, you have to actually touch this person/thing after you perform a handseal which is bad cause the enemy may not always be within arms reach and even if they were, they'd be prepared for your attack once they see you performing said handseal. if you use it on yourself, granted your attacks get heavier and more forcefull but at the same time, the added weight decreases your speed alot, making you much slower. Against a faster oponent, you'd stand no chance.

Perform the technique: I start by gathering a great amount of chakra in my body and begin manipulating it, using chakra manipulation, transforming it into Doton. As i have a good amount gathered, i maintain the connection with the rock that i'd previously picked up and pump my chakra into it. The rock would loose weight straight away, feeling alot more lighter than it previously did.
Creative uses/strengths: Unlike its oposite, this one requires no handseals, making it a bit quicker to perform, really. Using it on yourself, you gain a great deal of speed and if you use it on an enemy, their punches will be less forcefull.Same thing goes for earthen techniques. By decreasing their weight, they move alot faster but with less force.
Drawbacks/counters: Drawbacks would be, despite the fact that you gain great speed, your punches and attacks thrown are waay weaker than usual and have very low force into them. Use it on the oponent and his speed will increase alot and even though his pounches are weakened, he may have other tricks up his sleeve.

Perform the technique: I gather a massive amount of chakra in my body and as i have the right amount gathered, i begin manipulating it, kneading the chakra into Doton. Once this process is completed, i gather said chakra in my lungs, open my mouth and release earthen material. The earth would land on the ground infront of me and using shape manipulation, i turn it into a huge slab of rock, sending it straight forwards towards sensei's clone, slamming onto him, breaking multiple bones before causing the clone to disperse.
Creative uses/strengths: Quite the fast technique, no handseals required. The size of it can strike multiple oponents if they're next to eachother and it packs quite the punch. Goes up to midrange so the oponent cant be a bit away from you as well. Quite straightforward, nothing much too add.
Drawbacks/counters: The oponent cant be too far away as it only reaches mid range. Once you spew out the earth material, you kinda give the oponent a huge heads up so they can prepare a counter. the earth may move forward fast but the oponent still has time to perform a counter and maybe crush the earth with a lightning technique. Since the technique goes straight forwards, you can easily evade it by moving to the sides, not freeform ofcourse.

(Doton: Daichidokaku) - Earth Release: Great Moving Earth Core

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user will slam his hands on the ground which he can then lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.
Note: Can only be used twice.

This is the stronger version of the previous A-Rank counter part. The user will have complete control of the ground and will be able to raise or lower the ground by 100 meters. With it you can create walls to block attacks or evade them. You can capture enemies by lowering the ground and sending a large scale attack. Also a note is that anyone in the ground that is under control they will obviously lose their balance due to the sudden rise of the ground, so you can easily catch an opponent off and have a clone or ally send an attack making life difficult for the opponent. You can alter the terrain as well with it. It has no serious offensive abilities but its main purpose is the supplement yourself in battle. Also for every time you move the ground it counts as a turn so be weary. Also by the time the ground fully erects it will take several seconds. (8-10s) depending just how high you set it. 100 meters is the limit but you have control just how long you want to raise it. No need to perform/template, any questions?

(Doton: Dosenkiryu) – Earth Release: Earth and Stone Dragon Technique

Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Horse → Dog → Bird → Ox → Snake will create a large dragon of earth erupt from the ground and direct it towards the enemy with devastating force. This technique much resembles the Water Release: Water Dragon technique.

Another very handy and a personal favorite. After doing the required hand seals the user will summon a large dragon made of complete stone and earth. The summoning of the dragon is very fast and what makes this jutsu so handy is basically the brute force the dragon contains and its sheer size. The dragon is summoned close range but it has a long range reach. You can ride the dragon and what makes it awesome is how you can really catch and save yourself from tough situations with the dragon, if you are in a tight situation you can summon the dragon and rise below you and use the momentum to launch yourself in the sky to evade certain attacks. It can also act as a barrier around you to protect from certain attacks. A normal problem is you must keep control of the dragon whenever you are using it. Ways to stop the dragon is using large scale attacks to make it remain its distance from you or attack the bottom of the dragon using a swamp to restrict its movement.

Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically decreases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. The technique can decrease the weight of the target to virtually zero but the bigger the target, the more time is needed.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

The stronger version of the previous A-Rank jutsu. The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person down to virtually no weight at all. This jutsu when used in battle either lowering your own mass or a mass of an object exchanges the impact power for blazing speed. Its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. You can also increase your own speed to evade certain attacks with ease. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to the fact you have no mass whatsoever you have no impact on your punches or impact attacks. No need to perform/template, any questions?

The more powerful version of the A-rank variant (clearly). The user will perform one hand seal and staying in contact with the object he will insert his doton chakra into the object and manipulate it in a way that the very same object will increase in mass. This will increase the weight of the object up to ten times more then the usual weight. This can easily restrict that very object or persons movement dramatically. Moving will be almost impossible. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. In all other cases, only weight is added. So energy based attacks will not added in weight. Also this can easily be used on oneself or object to increase its power and impact. However, unlike the A-rank, you can barely move at all, with even breathing being difficult, so using it on yourself is only good if you already have a lot of momentum or if you're dropping down on something. (Doton: Koka no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hardening Technique

Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.

A very useful technique in which the user "grows" rocks from their skin to form a strong armor. While inside the armor, you can manipulate the rocks to form whatever shapes you want, so you can turn your hand into a sword or mace if you so chose. You can also choose to exclude parts of your body if you wanted to, for example leaving your feet unhindered for greater mobility (though you would be top-heavy and unbalanced). This technique, when used to completely cover your body, is also useful for breaking A-rank and below Genjutsu as it's a full-body surge. However, you are slower than normal when using the armor, you're vulnerable to Raiton, you can only use Doton techniques, and it constantly drains your chakra so... There's quite a bit of give-and-take.

(Doton: Dai iwa Kyojin no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Great Stone Golem Technique

Description: The user creates a even larger and stronger version of Earth Release: Stone Golem Technique. However, unlike the smaller version, the user creates this stone golem from the ground solely. The user will slam his hand on the ground, manipulating it and shaping it into a large warrior of stone which he can control as long as he keeps his hand in contact with it or with the ground and keeps fueling the technique with chakra. The golem can reach heights of 30 meters and is quite massive but seems to also be capable of moving quite fast as well.

A more powerful version of the A-rank variant, instead of being spat out of the user's mouth, this one can only be "grown" from the ground, making it required to have contact with the ground to use. The user will constantly send chakra towards the golem which in turn controls the golem's movement. You can virtually do anything with the Golem, you can send it towards the opponent as a distraction, or even with force as a projectile based attack. This version is also much larger than the original, being able to shield an entire army squadron on it's own. But even with it's great height, it has just as much speed and movement ability as it's A-rank variant. A draw back includes the golem requires a solid base for movement, also you must remain concentrated towards the golem; you must also be in contact with either the ground or the golem itself to continue controlling it. I think its best to have a clone control it before hand. The golem is not the fastest runner, but it's not slow either, and it has serious strength so it can easily crush enemies with a punch and lift huge, heavy things.

Description: With the technique, the user can bring up something from deep within the ground by slamming his hands on the ground and manipulating it to forcefully make whatever is contained in it to be expelled upwards. The result of this technique has the appearance of an erupting volcano and can vary in size depending on the users needs.

So a very simple technique, actually very similar to Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars. You slam both hands on the ground, and use your Doton chakra to bring up a very large volcano from the earth to push up everything above it. The volcano pushes all of the earth trapped within it, or if you planted things like bombs inside the ground, the bombs (in the manga, it was used to push Zetsu clones up into the air) up high, making the debris that flies out of it look like a volcano erupting. The debris then falls everywhere around the volcano, making everything short-range of the mass of destruction a hazard zone. Clearly, if you can hide some useful items in the ground where you plan to use this technique, it would be best, but if you can't flying rocks is always a good choice. What I really like about this jutsu (I actually just got it now as I looked through it again to write up this summary <.<) is that not only does it attack once when you push things up, but then it attacks a second time with the falling rock debris, forcing your opponent to go as far from the volcano as possible, which generally either puts them long-range from you, or short-range from you, and as mid-range is the general preferred range of NB, you can see how using this with combinations can be helpful.

(Doton: Yama Eikyō) - Earth Release: Mountain Smash

Description: The user will do 3 handseals (Tiger → Ram → Rat) and slam his hands on the ground which creates two enormous rock formations that close in on the opponent from two opposing sides with tremendous force, smashing everything caught in between. Both of these formations are capable of dwarfing even the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path in size. This is one the most strongest Earth based techniques, standing as a testament to both this ability's destructive potential and its difficulty. However, because of its size and power, it can only be used a limited amount of times, requires much chakra and can only be used at least mid range from the user.
Note: Can only be used twice

So, after forming three handseals and slamming your hands on the ground, you can make two very large sections of, well, mountain rise from the ground to crush everything between them. This technique is incredibly powerful and actually overpowers techniques of the same rank due to it's immense chakra cost and damage point value (though it still loses to Forbidden-rank techniques and equal-rank Lightning for being S-rank Earth). Now, while incredibly tall, the mountain is relatively thin (relative to itself). High-speed movement techniques like EIG and Swift should be able to allow the user to run out from between the slabs, but for a normal person I would assume that they would have to destroy the technique as opposed to running from it (if the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path couldn't step out in time, it clearly moves fast enough with a wide enough base to stop normal people from getting out). Overall, this technique is incredibly destructive, but it's main purpose lies in attacking when your opponent doesn't have anywhere to go; using it when your opponent is focused on you and has nothing else to deal with is a bad idea if you're not trying to set them up for a greater combo move.

Alright ^^

I begin by gathering a great amount of chakra in my body. Manipulating it, i transform it into doton before spreading it around my body, releasing a burst all around my body, growing large amount of solid rock from my skin, coating my torso region in a dense layer of stone, whilst leaving my head, arms and legs free.

Gathering even more chakra than before, i begin kneading it, changing its nature into earth before slamming my hands to the ground, pumping the chakra through it and, using shape manipulation, creating a massive golem of earth to rise from the ground beneath, over 20 meters tall, made of solid rock.

gathering a large amount of chakra, i, using chakra manipulation, transform it into earthen nature. As i feel i have a great amount gathered, i slam my hands into the ground and force my chakra through it, raising the ground beneath, causing it to erupt upwards, bursting like a volcano, sending massive amounts of crushed earth through the air, before falling down like meteorites.

performing the necessary string of 3 handseals, i gather and manipulate an incredible amount of chakra into earthen nature before slamming both hands into the ground, creating 2 gigantic formations of earth to rise from each side, closing in on the middle before slamming into eachother, smashing everything caught inbetween.
