Descripton: A form of summoning where the user first takes out a topographical map that they can use to change any earth-based feature of the battlefield.
Note: can only be used once per battle
How to use this Jutsu: You take out a Topographical map and draw on the map how you would like to change the Earth around you and then channel your chakra into the ground and shape it.
How to defend against this Jutsu: Not really a defense against this as it isn’t really an attack, but I guess attack them while they are drawing.
What makes this Jutsu versatile: It is not very versatile as it is not very useful in a 1v1 situation because of the time it takes to draw.
What restricts this Jutsu: It takes a very long time due to the process of drawing everything out.
(Doton: Iwa no Gōremu) – Earth Release: Stone Golem

Description: The user expels a large creature composed of stone from his mouth. The rock golem has a fair amount of stamina and brute strength, being able to bite and tear off flesh with its mouth and hands respectively. If used from above the target then the user can use the earth golem to drop down onto the opponent like a bomb and crush them.
How to use this Jutsu: Create many stones in your mouth and bind them together and shape them into a Golem using chakra.
How to defend against this Jutsu: Destroy it with lightning or just stay clear of it.
What makes this Jutsu versatile: It can be used for defense or offense or even as a distraction.
What restricts this Jutsu: It can take time to make the Golem and it is not the best of defense but it is pretty versatile.

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.
How to use this Jutsu: Channel chakra into the ground below your enemy and create a mud swamp.
How to defend against this Jutsu: Get off the ground or harden the ground.
What makes this Jutsu versatile: It can trap the enemy or be used to channel Lightning chakra and shock the enemy while they are caught.
What restricts this Jutsu: It is non flammable so it cannot be lit on fire to burn the enemy while they are caught.
(Doton: Dosenki) - Earth Release: Mudslide Technique

Description: After performing a sequence of three hand seals Dog → Ram → Boar the user then creates a small wall of earth to rise up from the ground infront of them and cause a mud slide to form from the wall and directs it towards the enemy target/s to try engulf them.
How to use this Jutsu: Create a wall in front of you and make the dirt into mud.
How to defend against this Jutsu: Get out of range or destroy the Mud or just create a wall to stop it.
What makes this Jutsu versatile: It is not very versatile as it can be pretty easily stopped.
What restricts this Jutsu: It can be destroyed or it can be stopped by Earth wall or enemy can go underground.
(Doton: Dochūbaku) - Earth Release: Landslide Technique

How to defend against this Jutsu: Stop the dirt, destroy the dirt, go underground or get out of range.
What makes this Jutsu versatile: It is not very versatile but it can be used to choke the enemy to death or trap them.
What restricts this Jutsu: As stated many ways to stop the Landslide.
(Doton: Kujo Joushou Iwa Chuuseki) - Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars

Description: This jutsu causes gigantic pillars of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground. This is an even greater scaled Earth Release: Rising Spikes and is large enough to impale a summoning technique.
How to use this Jutsu: Create much bigger pillars that shoot out of the ground big enough to impale a Summoning.
How to defend against this Jutsu: destroy the pillar as it is coming out of the ground.
What makes this Jutsu versatile: It can be used to impale enemy’s summoning, hit the enemy or rise yourself off the ground.
What restricts this Jutsu: It cannot impale a small target.
(Doton: Chidōkaku) - Earth Release: Moving Earth Core

Description: The user lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.
How to use this Jutsu: Create a wall, pillar, or create a pit in front of you using chakra.
How to defend against this Jutsu: Not a way to defend as it isn’t an attack.
What makes this Jutsu versatile: It can trap the enemy is a very deep hole or you can dodge a Jutsu or help teammates to get them out of the way.
What restricts this Jutsu: It cannot really hurt the enemy in any way.
(Doton: Kajūgan no Jutsu): Earth Style: Added Weight Rock Technique

Description: By performing the snake hand seal the user will use this technique to petrify whatever or whoever is touching them, causing the object in question to start to crumble. Due to essentially being turned to stone, the affected target considerably increases in weight. The afflicted person or object of this techniques effects increases their power by +10 to techniques but reduces their speed.
Note: The target stays petrified for 1 turn.
How to use this Jutsu: Channel chakra into something or someone and harden it to petrify them for one turn.
How to defend against this Jutsu: Do not let them touch you or channel chakra into them before they channel chakra into you.
What makes this Jutsu versatile: You can petrify yourself to increase your Taijutsu effectiveness or petrify someone else to restrict them from using Jutsu.
What restricts this Jutsu: It is hard to keep your hand on someone for enough time to channel chakra into them and harden it.
