Thank you for agreeing to train me :)

Okay, I saw you explained what you knew about Earth to Mugen Ryuku. Now, I want you to meditate on the earth and focus on understanding and unlocking the secrets of Earth. This involves the physical properties and metaphorical properties of Earth. "What is Earth like?" is the question you will be answering, consider the physical properties of Earth and what those physical properties could represent in a metaphorical sense. While you meditate, I will leave and return with the resources needed for the next step of training. *Leaves to get chakra paper.*

*After hearing you speak and run off I close my eyes and begin to meditate, thinking of nothing but Earth below me. As I feel the chakra flow through my body, I become more relaxed and feel the Earth below feel so steady. It is as if whatever happened to it, it would still be in tact and unmoving. The Earth below me feels like the pillars to life, as they keep everything steady above it. As I continue to meditate, I try to act as though I were the Earth, trying to be powerful and unmoving, letting nothing change my body position or posture. I am starting to feel one with the Earth.*

*As I see you coming back I ask*
"Is that good enough Senpai?"

How the hell would I know if that was good enough? @_@ I wasn't here. xd
Anyways, tell me about what you learned so I can see what you achieved in your meditation.

"True ^^^ xd"

"During my meditation, I felt the Earth below me feel like a single being that was interconnected. No matter how vast the Earth is, it will always feel like one sturdy being. The Earth to me feels so sturdy and unmoving that it feels like the pillars to a building. It feels as though it were keeping up everything in the world. As I was meditating, I felt myself becoming one with the Earth and becoming unmoving and sturdy, trying to keep myself always in one place without any shifting of weight or movement."

"Being trust-ful and loyal, being someone who everyone can count on is being steady just like the Earth. Being honest and reliable is like being unmoving as the Earth is. Also being able to keep promises is just like Earth as the Earth always gives what it is supposed to."

How about stubbornness? Earth is a very stubborn element, when it takes a path, it is hard to divert it from that path and when it decides to sit still, it wants to sit still. Understand?

Well now that you understand all of these properties of Earth, we are going to combine those properties into your chakra. This will be done through a series of exercises where you will hold a sheet of chakra paper between your index finger and middle finger while you focus on infusing those properties of Earth into your chakra network. You will need to describe this process. As you do so, the chakra paper will naturally react to your chakra, not necessary for you to add any chakra to the paper, and it will react by turning into dirt and crumbling away. You will then repeat this process continually until you can do it near instantly and it becomes second nature. This property of chakra is called Chakra Nature. Chakra Nature changes are necessary for performing any elemental jutsu as you can't perform a fire jutsu while your chakra is natured to water. *hands you a stack of chakra paper.*

"Oh yes of course, I must be stubborn, when it comes to Earth."

*As you hand me the stack of chakra paper, I immediately pick up a piece of paper and place it between my index and middle fingers. As I begin to mould my chakra, I start to think of the feelings I felt when meditating before. I think of the sturdiness and stubbornness of the Earth as well as the power and density that it has. As I mould my chakra into Earth Natured Chakra, I feel myself become more unmoving and steady just like the Earth, and as that happens, the Chakra Paper in my hand turns to dirt and crumbles away.*

"Should I keep going?"

Like I said, until it becomes second nature and only takes a moment to change.

"Alright Senpai! Oh and congrats on 9000 posts :)"

*I then continue to pick up each piece of Chakra Paper, each time focusing myself to mould my chakra into Earth Nature Chakra, by focusing and making it sturdy, powerful, and dense. It seems to become easier each time I try. Each time I do not have to focus as much on anything specific but only on the Earth as a whole. As I go through the stack of Chakra Paper, I am more quickly able to crumble away the Chakra Paper. As I pick up my last piece of paper, I put it in between my index and middle fingers and quickly focus on the Earth and feel its strength, density, and sturdiness, and a split second later, the Chakra Paper crumbles away.*

Thanks ^^ and excellent.

We are going to start with basic manipulation of the earth. You are going to use your chakra and release it into the ground nearby. By releasing it into the ground and then shaping the chakra into whatever shape you want, you can change the chakra nature of the chakra and then infuse it into the ground. You will then manipulate that chakra and use your chakra to move the earth with your chakra. You will first be forming your chakra into a long rectangular prism that you will pull up out of the ground to form a small pillar.

"Alright, here I go."

*As I focus on the Earth, I begin to mould my chakra, into dense and powerful Earth chakra. It makes my chakra feel much heavier, but much more powerful. As soon as the chakra is moulded, I channel my chakra into the ground below me which allows me to shape the ground into the shape of my choice. As I channel my chakra into the ground, I focus on creating a long pillar, and as I focus on it, a small pillar starts to rise of the ground."

Good. Now make a wall. It is similar in the same way except for it will be an elongated version of it.

"Alright."

*As I did previously, I mould my chakra into dense and powerful chakra whilst thinking about the sturdiness of the Earth. Then as I finish moulding it, I continue and channel it into the ground focusing on making something similar to before but making sure that I do not just stretch it out and create a super thin flaky wall. I focus on creating a tall, thick, and wide wall made out of the earth, and as I am focusing a wall begins to rise out of the ground."

"Alright, should be more difficult."

*As I mould my chakra into Earth chakra, I start to think of the shape of the first tool I will make as I channel my chakra into the ground below me. As I channel my chakra I think of a shovel, a long handle just like the pillar but rounded, connected to a shape kind of like the wall I created but curved and sharp around all the edges. The basic shovel rises out of the ground. I then begin to think of a pickaxe, the same sort of handle but instead of a curved end, I create a curved pillar that has sharpened ends. The pickaxe rises out of the ground. Finally I start to think of a kunai, a much smaller round handle should do the trick, and then I attach that to a diamond shape slap that is sharp all around the edges. Finally the kunai rises out of the ground.*

"Anything else I should make?"

Nope, you mastered the basic Earth technique. Onto the next one.

(Doton: Gansetsukon) - Earth Release: Rock Section Cane
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Offense
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

This jutsu allows you to reform a section of rock and shape it into a staff, much similar to the earth technique except for you will remove the unnecessary earth away. The staff should be aerodynamic as well as dense enough to use as a melee weapon. A variation of this technique is to construct multiple staves and then launch them at the target. Of course, since you are aiming multiple staves so they are much less accurate.

"Yay my first Jutsu. :) Do you want me to preform each technique and describe how it is done? I will do that for this Jutsu and correct me if I am doing it wrong."

*I first mould my chakra into the thickest most dense chakra I have made yet as to make this staff extra durable and powerful. As I finish moulding my chakra, I channel it into the ground and begin to shape a thin staff out of the earth. The staff begins to rise out of the ground into my hand. It seems very strong and durable. I take a few swings and hit it against the ground, and then throw it far away."

For my training, you will just describe how you would do it and actually do it.

At the end of each rank of elements, I do a quiz on the jutsu you have learned. D-rank Earth has 3 jutsu but one requires that you know how to be underground and move underground before performing so when we get to a jutsu like that, we will learn it. For the quiz, you will answer a few questions about each jutsu that will show to me that you understand how to apply each jutsu in battle.

Quiz Questions:
1. How would you use each jutsu in battle?
2. What makes each jutsu versatile in battle?
3. What restricts the use of each jutsu in battle? (Think range or time it takes to set up)

Rank: D
Type: Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid

Damage Points: 20
Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth
