-I seat myself in the hole you dug sending my chakra into the earth,feeling the earth,its consistency,its stability.I keep concentrating on the feel of the earth in my hands,on the earth itself,imagining it and staying focused on it while continuously sending my chakra into the earth.I imagine the many forms and shapes of the earth becoming one with it.-

Ok.I will tell you everything I know about earth in the Narutoverse.
Earth Release (Doton) is a type of nature transformation that allows the user to manipulate already existing earth for offensive or defensive purposes no matter in what state it is be it:dirt,mud or rock.Earth Release techniques allow the user to change the composition,strength and shape of the earth either to be hard as metal or soft as clay.This also allows the user to travel underground which is good for both offense and defense (Example jutsus:Hiding Like a Mole Technique and Underground Fish Projection).Pre-existing earth is not necessary because the user can create it from his chakra but it is much simpler to use pre-exisisting earth.Also it is weak against lightning and strong against water.It is used to make the advanced elements such as:Wood Element,Lava Element,Crystal Element and Dust Element.
Earth users are:Kakashi Hatake,Hiruzen Sarutobi,Jiraya,Onoki.
If this wasn't what you were asking of me and you wanted me to say what the earth is good for and why I like it then here:

-I close my eyes focusing chakra in my palms molding it and gathering it there.When I feel that I have enough chakra acquired in my palms I slowly bow down and place my palms on the ground keeping a continuous flow of chakra going to them.I stretch my palms to the ground ,without touching it.I slowly send my chakra into the earth and slowly begin to draw my hands upwards.As my hands travel further upwards two chunks of earth follow my plams as I keep adding more and more chakra to the chunks to keep them going out.-

-I hold one of the chunks in my hand sending chakra into it constantly.I use shape manipulation to shape the chakra filled chunk of earth into a kunai.As I am trying to mold it into a usable weapon I keep thinking of the feel of the earth and the image of a kunai.I keep modeling the weapon until I think it looks good enough and usable.When I am done I show you the weapon.-

-As I see you create your clone I already begin molding my Do chakra.I grab a rock and form it into a shield which I throw at your clone.As the shield flies I send more Do chakra into the ground via my leg to create a pillar behind your clone to send him flying towards my earth shield.-

-I place my hand to the ground channeling Do chakra into the earth.I pull out a chunk of earth from the ground,big enough to fit in my hand.I then send my Do chakra into the chunk of rock.I begin using shape manipulation to make a long staff.After some time struggling to shape the staff I finish and show you the 2 meter long staff.-
