-if used on oneself while covered in rock armor, how would this technique work out?
Overall the problem would be is the mass of the armor would weaken dramatically. It be pretty much as if you don't have an armor on at all.

I like the fifth technique because if used strategically, it can be a great technique. Increasing the weight of objects or a person can come in handy if used in the right situation. The second technique I like because it quite basic but can serve a good purpose in a battle.; Multiple mudwall I like because it is another great defensive technique and the user can summon multiple walls which can come in handy. Stone golem I like because it can serve as an aid in battle and be used in multiple ways. Swamp of the underworl I like because it’s one of the best trapping techniques. The user can send added jutsus while the opponent is sinking and suffocation is possible which is why I like this technique.

(Doton: Daichidokaku) - Earth Release: Great Moving Earth Core
Rank: S
Type: Defensive/Supplementary
Range: Short - Long

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user will slam his hands on the ground which he can then lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.
Note: Can only be used twice.

This is the stronger version of the previous A-Rank counter part. The user will have complete control of the ground and will be able to raise or lower the ground by 100 meters. With it you can create walls to block attacks or evade them. You can capture enemies by lowering the ground and sending a large scale attack. Also a note is that anyone in the ground that is under control they will obviously lose their balance due to the sudden rise of the ground, so you can easily catch an opponent off and have a clone or ally send an attack making life difficult for the opponent. You can alter the terrain as well with it. It has no serious offensive abilities but its main purpose is the supplement yourself in battle. Also for every time you move the ground it counts as a turn so be weary. Also by the time the ground fully erects it will take several seconds. (8-10s) depending just how high you set it. 100 meters is the limit but you have control just how long you want to raise it.


(Doton: Dosenkiryu) – Earth Release: Earth and Stone Dragon Technique

Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Horse ? Dog ? Bird ? Ox ? Snake will create a large dragon of earth erupt from the ground and direct it towards the enemy with devastating force. This technique much resembles the Water Release: Water Dragon technique.

Another very handy and a personal favorite. After doing the required hand seals the user will summon a large dragon made of complete stone and earth. The summoning of the dragon is very fast and what makes this jutsu so handy is basically the brute force the dragon contains and its sheer size. The dragon is summoned close range but it has a long range reach. You can ride the dragon and what makes it awesome is how you can really catch and save yourself from tough situations with the dragon, if you are in a tight situation you can summon the dragon and rise below you and use the momentum to launch yourself in the sky to evade certain attacks. It can also act as a barrier around you to protect from certain attacks. A normal problem is you must keep control of the dragon whenever you are using it. Ways to stop the dragon is using large scale attacks to make it remain its distance from you or attack the bottom of the dragon using a swamp to restrict its movement.


(Doton: Chokeijugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Earth Release: Ultra Light-Weight Rock Technique

Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically decreases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. The technique can decrease the weight of the target to virtually zero but the bigger the target, the more time is needed.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

The stronger version of the previous A-Rank jutsu. The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person down to virtually no weight at all. This jutsu when used in battle either lowering your own mass or a mass of an object exchanges the impact power for blazing speed. Its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. You can also increase your own speed to evade certain attacks with ease. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to the fact you have no mass whatsoever you have no impact on your punches or impact attacks.

Perform the technique:
Shadou begins to gather his chakra, letting it take on the properties of the earth element and then slamming his right hand onto the ground, releasing his chakra into the ground below. He then continues to channel his chakra focused in the earth, causing the ground on which his opponent stood on raise 100m into the air.

Creative uses/strengths:
Using this technique to sink the ground would give me the chance to send a wide-scale fire or water jutsu to either burn the enemy or drown him, also using an earth technique capable of forming mud or a large enough boulder over the lowered land could suffocate them. I could also use this technique to raise the ground, throw my opponent off balance and either have myself or a clone send in jutsus at my opponent.

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that this technique can only be used a limited amount of times and everytime the ground is altered, it counts as a turn. An opponent may be able to sense the ground about to erupt and move just in time. Using lightning to break the land apart or a wind technique to boost yourself into the air if lowered.
(Doton: Dosenkiryu) – Earth Release: Earth and Stone Dragon Technique
Perform the technique:
After performing the necessary five hand seals and gathering the required amount of chakra, Shadou begins to envision the nature of earth. A large dragon made of earth erupts from the ground in front of Shadou, waiting for his command.

Creative uses/strengths:
A creative use could to summon a clone and have it trap the opponent while you send the dragon in to annihilate. If the opponent is sending projectile based techniques, riding the dragon to evade the jutsus would work. Dragon can also serve as a purpose for blocking.

Drawbacks/counters:
The dragon is summoned within short range of the user so if the target is at a distance, the’ll have time to react. The dragon will also be easy to notice and keep track of, so aiming jutsus at it wont be difficult. Sending multiple lightning jutsus or fire jutsus to destroy the dragon or keeping it away.

Perform the technique:
After gathering his chakra and allowing it to take on the properties of earth, Shadou approaches a gigantic statue that happened to be near him and places his right hand on it while releasing his doton chakra into the statue. Using his chakra that was now infused with the statue, Shadou changes the weight of the statue drastically making it weigh almost nothing.
Creative uses/strengths:
You can use this attack to go on the aggressive and try to push your opponents back against a wall by using this technique to increase speed and constantly perform strong taijutsu techniques. Even though the damage won’t be as much, it could serve to throw your opponent off guard especially if used with a normal clone and used strategically. If an opponent uses an attack revolving around using mud to trap you, using this technique to lightnen the mud would be a way to escape. If using attacks that involve large heavy boulders, using this technique to lower the weight will help hurl the boulder. If the user has a large summon on the playfield, if the user can manage to get close to perform this technique, that will help the tides of battle too.
Drawbacks/counters:
Main drawback is that this technique drastically decreases impact from physical strength if used on oneself so relying on taijutsu might not be the best strategy or jutsus that require physical attacks. After the technique is countered, the weight returns to normal.

The stronger version of the A-Rank shown. Staying in contact with the object he will insert his doton chakra into the object and manipulate it in a way that the very same object will increase in mass. This will increase the weight of the object up to 100 times more then the usual weight. This can easily restrict that very object or persons movement dramatically. Moving will be impossible. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. In all other cases, only weight is added. So energy based attacks will not added in weight. Also this can easily be used on oneself or object to increase its power and impact. So its awesome for close range but you will sacrifice your speed terribly because of it. Unless releasing the jutsu itself then the weight will remain on the object and/or person for two turns. Its a good jutsu but has many drawbacks as well be sure to use wisely. This is best to use against an opponent, a good combo is catching an opponent and injecting them with the weight they will not even be able to move for two turns. I recommend really watching out for this technique.

Description: With the technique, the user can bring up something from deep within the ground by slamming his hands on the ground and manipulating it to forcefully make whatever is contained in it to be expelled upwards. The result of this technique has the appearance of an erupting volcano and can vary in size depending on the users needs.

Jutsu is different then most earth jutsus. The user by slamming their hands on the ground will manipulate it in a way where they rise a large volcano. The volcano will thrust up anything that is under ground. This is great to know if you figure an opponent is underground this is a great jutsu to use which propel them airborne and you can attack. This includes also certain summonings and whatever type of objects. Its a handy jutsu at time, though is under used. Note you can not use this jutsu close range from yourself due to the size of the volcano.


(Doton: Yama Eikyo) - Earth Release: Mountain Smash

Description: The user will do 3 handseals (Tiger ? Ram ? Rat) and slam his hands on the ground which creates two enormous rock formations that close in on the opponent from two opposing sides with tremendous force, smashing everything caught in between. Both of these formations are capable of dwarfing even the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path in size. This is one the most strongest Earth based techniques, standing as a testament to both this ability's destructive potential and its difficulty. However, because of its size and power, it can only be used a limited amount of times, requires much chakra and can only be used at least mid range from the user.
Note: Can only be used twice

This is earth releases most powerful attack from the whole canon list. The user after performing 3 hand seals, the user will summon an extremely large rock formation on each flanks of the opponent. Right when they fully rise they act to come together with brute force crushing everything that is caught between it. The size is so large it makes the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path look small. Due to its large status your only able to us it twice per battle. This is great to use as a finisher from combos as well as distract the opponent, scaring them with its size. Though you must remain concentrated during the time to make them come together, if you don't the rock formations will just stay in place. During the time they rise from the ground, the ground will shake heavily making movement tough on the opponent as well. Despite the fact of all it gives their are many drawbacks. One being is this is a loud and large jutsu. Making it easy to anticipate it and what to do. Also you can only do this jutsu mid-long range restricting its mobility. Ways to counter this is stopping the opponents concentration towards it, sending a wide ranged attack. Using a high ranked and long range lightning jutsu to negate the chakra in the doton. Just some ideas. Its a great jutsu if used correctly.

(Doton: Cho Kajugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Super Added Weight Rock Technique
Perform the technique:
Shadou raises his hands up towards his chest and weaves together the hand seal of the snake while envisioning the nature of earth. After gathering enough chakra, Shadou places his right hand onto a boulder and infuses his chakra with it. Using his chakra, Shadou starts to change the weight of the boulder, increasing it dramatically, making it impossible for anyone to lift.

Creative uses/strengths:
This technique can be used one oneself to add damage to physical attacks. Trapping an opponent so that he cannot move and then moving near him to and touching him to perform this jutsu could be a creative use or using this technique on mud or boulders and hurling them at your opponent. If close enough to the opponent, you can use this jutsu on him and increase your distance to send an onslaught of jutsus at him while they are slowed down. A strength is that this weight change last two turns which really could be helpful if used correctly.

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is if this technique is not used wisely, it can come back to haunt the user. Also using this technique on oneself can slow the user down which can be costly. Only being able to affect earth properties means that this technique could be pointless if the user is standing on water. A counter would be to send a strong enough lightning jutsu if sometime is thrown at u or use wind techniques to effectively evade.
(Doton: Kaido Shokutsu) - Earth Style: Opening Earth Rising Excavation
Perform the technique:
Shadou begins to gather a large amount of his chakra, his emotions becoming one with the properties of earth as he matches it with his chakra. Shadou then crouches over and slams his hand onto the ground, releasing his chakra into the earth. He begins to manipulate his chakra focused in the earth, causing a large volcano to erupt from the ground.

Creative uses/strengths:
If the user is using a technique like hiding like a mole, I could use this technique to get it from underground and when is launched into the air, send any jutsu at him to add insult to injury. If the user has a summon, I could also use this jutsu to boost the animal into the air.

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that this technique must be used with some distance from the user. The technique also serves a small purpose so user who is not strategic might not find a use for this jutsu.

(Doton: Yama Eikyo) - Earth Release: Mountain Smash
Perform the technique:
Shadou performs three hands, concentrating on gathering a large amount of chakra in preparation for his next jutsu. After letting his chakra take on the properties of earth, Shadou slams his hands onto the ground, transferring his chakra into the earth. Two gigantic sections of rock emerge from the ground near his opponent and close in on him with tremendous force.
Creative uses/strengths:
If I have an opponent who is trapped, using this technique will be a good creative use. Placing my opponent under a strong genjutsu or using a strong jutsu to distract them would be a creative use as well. The strengths are that this technique is very dangerous. If an opponent is caught, it’s game over.
Drawbacks/counters:
The target will be able to hear the ground shifting as the rocks emerge which is a drawback. Also, the technique can only be used a limited amount of times during a battle, so the technique should be used wisely. Sending a technique right when the user performs this jutsu to break his concentration is a counter or strategically using a wide-scale, powerful lightning jutsu.

Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.

A great armor jutsu. The user will be able to forcefully surge rocks from any part or their whole body and cover themselves in rock. This is great to defend specific body parts as well as be used for full body surges in genjutsu. You can use the armor to have a much longer reach with huge power behind it. A large set back is you move very slow with the jutsu restricting your movement, jumping is impossible as well. The user can extend weapons from their arms as rocks which is great to have for an extra arsenal. The user can only mold doton chakra while having the armor off.


(Doton: Dai iwa Kyojin no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Great Stone Golem Technique

Description: The user creates a even larger and stronger version of Earth Release: Stone Golem Technique. However, unlike the smaller version, the user creates this stone golem from the ground solely. The user will slam his hand on the ground, manipulating it and shaping it into a large warrior of stone which he can control as long as he keeps his hand in contact with it or with the ground and keeps fueling the technique with chakra. The golem can reach heights of 30 meters and is quite massive but seems to also be capable of moving quite fast as well.

The user without the needs of hand seals will summon a very large golem which can extend up to 30 meters in height. It has great brute strength as well as be quite agile despite its large stature. The Golem is manipulated through your chakra control meaning you must remain concentrated towards it no matter what if you want to use it. By doing this he must keep his hands together. The golem is summoned close range but has a long range reach. The golem is great to get you out of tough situations. It can act as a barrier and attack as well being a mobile tech.

(Doton: Koka no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hardening Technique
Perform the technique:
Shadou begins to gather a large amount of his chakra from within, allowing it to match and take on the properties of the earth. Shadou then focuses the doton chakra in the area of his chest and then burst out his doton chakra from that area. A large dense armor, made of rock then covers Shadou, protecting him from outside attacks,

Creative uses/strengths:
This tech could be used to protect the user from elemental jutsus also the user can form a weapon with the jutsu to stun the opponent or keep them at bay. Using other earth jutsus to go along with this technique is really the only creative use.
Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that this technique doesn’t allow the user to perform anY OTHER elemental jutsus also depending on how they use this technique, they are vulnerable to lightning. Also the user will be slowed from this technique.

(Doton: Dai iwa Kyojin no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Great Stone Golem Technique
Perform the technique:
Shadou gathers a large amount of chakra from within while envisioning the technique he would be performing. His chakra takes on the properties of earth as he brings his hands crashing down onto the ground. Shadou then manipulates his chakra focused in the ground to create a giant rock golem that awaits Shadou’s command.

Creative uses/strengths:
Strengths are that his golem packs a punch and is quite agile despite its size. The golem itself has many creative uses. It can be used to defend the user or to pressure the opponent. The user could summon a clone beforehand capable of performing the jutsus so he wont be completely vulnerable with his hands on the ground.
Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that the user must remain concentrated while the golem is on the battlefield and keep his hands on the ground to keep feeding it chakra. The golem is also quite large so it will be easy to spot and to predict its movements. A powerful enough lightning jutsu should break the golem apart or using a earth technique capable of trapping the golem.

Here is my list of favorite S rank techniques. I like the fifth technique because it can come in handy AGAinst an opponent who likes to go underground and attack or that likes to remain stationary while sending jutsus. The technique can come in handy for some situations. I like the fourth technique because the dragon can serve many purposes such as attacking, defending, and evading . The third technique is a great defensive technique that can withstand a lot of attacks, that’s why it’s on my list, plus it can be used at a weapon. Super added weight can come in handy for multiple purposes. I like it because it can slow down the opponent to the point where movement is impossible or be used offensively to increase the users power or impact on a projectile. Mountain Smash is a powerful jutsu that will guarantee kill the enemy if they are caught within it. Even though it makes a lot of noise, I like it because of its power.
