Description: After doing the Snake handseal and slamming his hands on the ground, he user creates a portal above the target, high in the sky from which a giant, boar-shaped, earthen lid drops and falls on the target, trapping it underneath. The lid can be hollow or solid, depending on if the user wants to deal damage to the enemy or not. Because of its size, to safely used, the lid has to be created at least mid range from the user otherwise he will also be caught inside. The biggest lid can dwarf a boss summon like Nagato's Dog or Gamabunta.

Another attack from above, very quick to summon and quite large. Can cover a whole 5 meters radius. You can use it as a distraction if the opponent notices to attack them. You can make a combo to attack in all areas and sides of the opponent. It acts to trap the opponent, if trapped you can send a powerful underground or straight to the lid to destroy the lid as well as the opponent.



(Doton Kage Bunshin) – Earth Release Shadow Clone

Description: This technique creates a clone made of mud. Since its made of mud, it can continue to reform and mold itself back to its original shape even after taking physical damage (up to C-Rank). An unique use is that after reverting to mud, it can hold the opponent in place as a binding technique. They can also use up to C rank earth techniques.

A clone made of mud of the user. This clones can move around and use basic body and sword attacks as well as only C-Rank doton. Since the clone is made of mud it can withstand attacks and reform, it depends on the attack sent of course. If its really powerful it might not reform back. This is great to always have a extra man on the field, you can use diversion, distractions, do combos you normally can't do. Also it can take hits for you, the clone acts on the will of the user.



(Doton: Musaborudzuchi) – Earth Release: Devouring Earth

Description: The user performs the Ram ? Horse ? Tiger ? Rabbit ? Snake and slams their palm on the ground. Instantly, the ground to the sides of the opponent take the shape of huge jaws and attempt to crush and stab him between them. The size of the jaws can be adjusted to fit the size of the opponent or other uses.

One of my favorite techniques in earth. After performing the 5 hand seals and slamming your hands on the ground, the earth will begin to shake due to two very large sections of rock jaws that rise on each flank of the opponent, they rise quickly and will try to crush the opponent. Its a great jutsu to attack both flanks at once, and make it hard on the opponent, the shake of the ground might force the opponent to lose balance but not fall over. Right when you slam your hands you can move onto the next jutsu, so this jutsu has great combo abilities and is very powerful if used good enough.

(Doton: Otoshibuta) – Earth Release: Dropping Lid
Perform the technique:
Shadou raises his hands up before his chest, his cold, emotionless eyes focused on his target as he weaves together the hand seal of the snake. The moment the hand seal is performed, Shadou gathers his chakra throughout his network and channels itto his right hand. Once the chakra is focused within his hand, Shadou slams his hands down onto the ground below. As he slams his hand, a portal is formed in the sky,above the opponent. Released from the portal is a giant, boar shaped, solid lid that comes crashing down onto the enemy.

Creative uses/strengths:
Forms above the user which they may not expect. Technique covers a 5m radius, so a slow opponent may not react quick enough to counter. Traps the opponent and damages them. Can be used with a jutsu that attacks the opponent from the front or behind to pull off a combination from all directions. A technique that traps the opponents feet then using this technique will be the ultimate trap leaving an opening for a jutsu. Once the opponent is trapped, I could use a strong lightning jutsu to break through the rock and kill the opponent.

Drawbacks/counters:
Requires a hand seal and for the user to slam their hand onto the ground which gives the opponent seconds to react. The moment the portal is formed, the opponent can uise a technique to push them out of distance or use the hiding like a mole technique to dig and hide underground. A wide scale lightning jutsu sent at the lid will break through it.


(Doton Kage Bunshin) – Earth Release Shadow Clone

Perform the technique:
After gathering his chakra from within, Shadou begins to envision a clone of himself made from the sources of earth. He proceeds to release his gathered doton chakra into the air as a shadow clone made of mud appears next to Shadou. The clone starts to move around the battlefield, prepared to strike.

Creative uses/strengths:
If the opponent is being aggressive and sending lower ranked jutsus, I could use this clone for a shield/sacrifice and then wait for it to reform. I could use the clone to trap my opponent into a corner and then send combinations at my opponent like the lightning,earth, fire oven combination.

Drawbacks/counters:
Sending a powerful lightning jutsu at the clone should be enough to damage it enough from reforming. A drawback is the clone can only perform earth jutsus, so the opponent will know to have lightning jutsus ready and to stay out of short range so the clone cant perform taijutsu or sword techniques.

(Doton: Musaborudzuchi) – Earth Release: Devouring Earth
Perform the technique:
With his hands held before his chest, Shadou quickly weaves together five hand seals while allowing his chakra to take on the properties of the earth element. Once his chakra is gathered and the necessary hand seals are completeded, Shadou bends over and brings his right hand crashing down onto the ground. As soon as his hand hits the ground, Shadou’s gathered doton chakra is released into the earth below and two large sections of rock jaws rise a few meters away from Shadou, crushing…..a tree?

Creative uses/strengths:
Nice technique. Using the mudshot technique to blind the opponent, then using this technique would be a way to surprise and damage the opponent. Using a earth jutsu beforehand to trap the opponent is another creative use, so would be using a lightnint jutsu to paralyze the opponent followed by this tech. Strengths is this technique forms on the sides of the opponent, capable of surrounding him. Add that with a quick , straightforward jutsu, the target wont have much room to evade.

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that the opponent may be able to anticipate the jutsu coming because of the ground shaking. The target of the jutsu if quick enough can use hiding like a mole to dig into the ground and be in safe cover from the jutsu. A wide scale lightning jutsu that is capable of surrounding the opponent shall protect him as well.

Description: The user will first perform the snake hand seal and then cause the earth in the surrounding area to rise up and over a target and create a cavern, imprisoning the target. The user can leave an opening to allow attacks to go in to strike down the trapped adversaries, or close it up completely to prevent escape.

A trapping jutsu, the user will perform one hand seal and summon a cavern to trap the opponent in. If you want you can leave a small opening to allow attacks but that means the opponent can also attack, or you can leave it completely close to trap the opponent and suffocate due to lack of oxygen if they stay in long enough. Though even though they are trapped you can still use a very powerful technique yourself to both trap leaving no open spaces and attack. Its fast to perform and raises quickly off the ground.



(Doton: Arijigoku no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Antlion Technique

Description: The user performs the Ram hand seal and causes causes the ground and everything on and around it to be sucked in towards the middle of a large pit, much like the method an antlion uses to catch prey. Upon being dragged to the centre, the victim will then be sucked underground. There the victim, depending on how deep the user makes them sink, will be trapped and/or suffocated. The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the technique.

Another favorite, the user will do one hand seal and create a pit close to the opponents area. The pit begins to cave in on itself. Rapidly spinning around with great speed and sucking everything in, in the area. This is a great jutsu to for an opponent to lose balance, it moves so fast he will be unable to move in the area. I also consider this technique a "Last Resort". What I mean by that is if their is ever a time you are blinded or unable to see the opponent, by using this jutsu, since it covers a long and wide range it will most likely catch the opponent in. So use it wisely. Two major notes you must keep focus on the Antlion as well as make sure you make the pit mid/long range of yourself since you will be sucked in as well if you don't.



(Doton: Doryuheki) - Earth Release: Earth Style Wall Jutsu

Description: The user will first perform the Tiger ? Hare ? Boar ? Dog and then creates a solid wall of earth as a form of defence. Chakra is either converted to earth within the body and then spat out to form the wall or the user can manipulate pre-existing earth to form the wall. The earth then instantly rises up and takes form. The barrier itself is also coated with chakra, making its strength incomparable to that of a normal mud wall. Because of the earth's special characteristics, the wall is highly resistant against, for instance, fire and water. Hizuren Sarutobi spits mud from his mouth to perform the jutsu whilst Kakashi creates a wall composed of bulldog sculptures to box-in Pain.

The user will perform the required hand seals and either spit out a mud base which rises out a hard wall or you can manipulate preexisting earth to release a wall to rise of regular size (3-5 meters). This wall is very dense and can protect against basic techniques with ease. Now their is not much to say about the wall due to its basis, but be sure that when you do rise the wall remember you will not be able to see through it, so you will most likely lose vision of the opponent.

(Doton: Tsuchi Kairo) - Earth Release: Earth Corridor
Perform the technique:
Raising his hands up towards his chest, Shadou joins his hands together and weaves the hand seal of the snake. His chakra begins to rush through every point in his body as he molds his chakra to take in the properties of the earth. Shadou’s doton chakra is then released into the ground beneath him as a rising in the surrounding ground suddenly occurs. Manipulating his chakra in the focused area of earth, Shadou causes the earth that had risen to form a cavern over his target, trapping them and leaving them to suffocate.

Creative uses/strengths:
Using this technique to trap my opponent while leaving a opening for me to send more jutsus would be a great creative use. Because the user is trapped, if they are unable to counter, they are basically mine for the picking. Before performing the technique, using a jutsu that forms above my opponents head to distract him while the ground from this technique rises and forms is also a good use. The strengths of this technique is that it only requires one hand seal and can reach up to mid-range

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback might be that the opponent could sense the ground about to rise, giving them time for a counter. A counter would be to surround myself in lightning to break through the trap. If the opponent leaves an opening, using a technique to blind him will give the target time to break free. Possibly using the hiding like a mole technique to dig underground and escape the trap could work as well?


(Doton: Arijigoku no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Antlion Technique
Perform the technique:
Gathering his chakra from within and allowing it to become one with the nature of earth, Shadou proceeds to wave the hand seal of the snake. An area around his target is manipulated to become a pit, sucking the opponent towards it. While being sucked underground, the target loses his balance and becomes vulnerable to an added jutsu before swallowed by the pit.

Creative uses/strengths:
A creative use could be to blind my opponent beforehand then perform this technique to suck him underground. If the opponent looks like he is about to escape, seeding an extra jutsu could prevent that from happening. The hidden in the mist technique or bringer of darkness genjutsu might make my opponent unaware that a pit is being formed while the technique is being set-up.

Drawbacks/counters:
Using a wind technique to quickly throw myself into the air should prevent me from being sucked in. The opponent may have enough time to react while the pit is being formed. If sucked underneath, would using an earth technique where the user emerges from the ground work as a counter?

(Doton: Doryuheki) - Earth Release: Earth Style Wall Jutsu
Perform the technique:
Shadou holds his hands high in front of chest and starts to weave together several hand seals. While performing the hand seals, Shadou starts to envision the nature of earth while picturing the technique in his mind. His doton chakra is released into the ground beneath him, causing a solid wall of earth to rise and protect him.

Creative uses/strengths:
If on the defense and needing a moment for a breather, summong a clone and having it perform this technique behind me will keep my front and back protected. Since I wont have vision on my target, using the previous technique could work. Strengths of this technique is that its capable of protecting the user from many water and fire jutsus

Drawbacks/counters:
A few drawbacks to this technique. For one, the wall only protects the front of the user. Not being able to see your opponent may come back to haunt the user also. Sending a wide-scale lightning technique would be able to break through the wall. A technique that comes from behind will also be able to surprise my opponent since he wont have vision on me. Summoning a clone and having it maneuver to the users open spots will work as well. One last drawback for an Uchiha is that the sharingan wont be able to see through the wall.

Okay good for the most part. To your combo basically yes you can use hiding like a mole but this is mainly used as a distraction so they usually won't let it crash they will go straight to the attack.
Also again if you are sucked into the antlion it be to late to use something like hiding like a mole. You have to be above ground first and focus your chakra. I don't know just how focus you can remain when your being sucked in the hole.

(Doton: Iwagakure no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hiding in Rock Technique

Description: This is a technique that allows its user to blend into rocks, move inside them and then move in and out of other rocks undetected. Despite this, Doujutsu and Sensors can still detect the opponent. The limitation of the technique is that it cannot be used to meld into other types of earth than rock or solid earth and its not a very fast technique, despite being faster than Underground Projection Fish technique.
Note: Can only blend through on C rank and below Earth Techniques

This though might not seem much is a great technique. The user is able to blend their being inside of rocks, both natural rocks and chakra based rocks made of B-Rank or lower. Now the opponent unless sensory type or dojutsu user will not be able to notice your position, you can easily do a snick attack with it, you can evade techniques using it. Also stake out with it, allowing you time to prepare for combos and plan attack. Great technique to give yourself sometime. If the opponent somehow figures out, be weary and anticipate that he will most likely use a raiton jutsu to kill you, since its very vulnerable.


(Doton: Doryuso) - Earth Release: Earth Flow Spears

Description: The user first performs the Bird hand seal and the user condense mud or stone, from the ground, and shape them into spikes that will protrude from the ground in order to skewer the target. The spikes cannot penetrate targets of greater density.

Another basic technique, the user will do one hand seal and condense the mud or stone under the opponents location. After the ground is condensed, basically a second after the hand seal. A spear will protrude out of the ground at a very fast pace. The spear will pierce the opponent from below and send them into the air where they will be vulnerable. After you do the hand seal you can move onto the next jutsu.



(Doton: Iwayado Kuzushi) - Earth Style: Rock Lodging Destruction

Description: The user performs the required hand seals Tiger ? Rat ? Snake and they then causes a cave-in by destroying the equilibrium that holds the cave together. Just removing a single vital stone throws off the balance of the cave, making it unexpectedly fragile and causing a domino effect that destroys the entire cave. The shinobi from Iwagakure use this technique in their pride tactic, luring several enemies into a cave to kill them all at once.

After doing 3 hand seals the user will channel doton chakra throughout a cave and loosen it to an extreme extent. This will make the cave extremely sensitive and will begin to cave in the moment an opponent does a disturbance in the cave. This is a great jutsu to attack more then one opponent, trying to lure them in a cave by using a distracting or placing a shadow clone in a cave and have the opponent get in close to you, then you can easily make the cave, cave-in. The opponent(s) if caught will easily be severely hurt. The cave-in is like a Domino effect starting from one end and begins to fall everywhere through the length of the cave. This is a location based technique, if their is no caves in the area, its useless. This jutsu can work even in the largest of caves.

(Doton: Iwagakure no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Hiding in Rock Technique
Perform the technique:
With a pile of large rocks behind him, Shadou begins to gather his chakra from within, picturing in his mind, his body becoming one with the rocks. Once enough chakra is gathered and the chakra takes on the elements of earth, Shadou moves backwards towards the pile, his body blending into the pile of rocks. Shadou remains stationary in the rocks, waiting for a moment to strike his opponent.

Creative uses/strengths:
Creating a shadow clone and then using this technique will give me time to go over a gameplan while my clone keeps my opponent occupied. If there are a lot nof rocks in the battlefield, I can move through them and pop up behind my opponent and surprise him.

Drawbacks/counters:
Major drawback is that this technique is pointless to use against a dojutsu user *points to sharingans >.>*. Also since the opponent is blended within the rocks, they are an easy target for any lightning jutsu. If not sure of my opponents exact location within the rocks, a wide scale and strong fire technique might force the user out of hiding.

(Doton: Doryuso) - Earth Release: Earth Flow Spears
Perform the technique:
With his opponent in his line of sight, Shadou raises his hands and waves the bird hand seal, gathering his doton chakra from within while doing so. Using his doton chakra, Shadou starts to condense the mud in the area around his opponent. He begins to mold the mud to take on the form of a spear as it comes protruding from the ground, piercing through the opponent and sending him into the air.

Creative uses/strengths:
This technique moves fast so there really isn’t a need to do a jutsu beforehand to set it up. Using a lightning jutsu first to temporarily paralyze the opponent then using this technique could be a good set-up though. Once the opponent is sent into the air, he is vulnerable so I can send any jutsu at them.

Drawbacks/counters:
Covering yourself in a earth armor before the technique is performed should protect the target from the technique. The technique appears fast so I cant think of to many counters. Maybe there is a chance for the target to use a wind technique to boost himself into the air or sending a high ranked fire jutsu into the mud?
(Doton: Iwayado Kuzushi) - Earth Style: Rock Lodging Destruction
Perform the technique:
After performing the three required hand seals for his upcoming technique, Shadou gathers his chakra from within while envisioning the nature of earth. Shadou releases his doton chakra into the surrounding air in the space of the large cave, causing stones to move out of place and the cave to come crashing down upon the opponent.

Creative uses/strengths:
If near the cave, I could use a wind technique to push my opponent into the cave and then use this technique. I could summon a clone and hope it can lure my opponent into the cave then perform this jutsu. If in the cave, I could use mudshot to blind my opponent while I perform this jutsu.

Drawbacks/counters:
The main drawback of this technique is that is has to be done from within a cave, otherwise it’s useless. The moment the target of the technique feels the cave about to crumble, he can use a wind technique to push himself out of the cave and into safety. The hiding like a mole technique should also work to avoid the cave in. A strong enough shield of lightning surrounding the target should also work

(Doton/Katon: Yodo Ranfunka no Jutsu) - Earth/Fire Release: Molten Earth Wild Eruption Technique

Description: The user will stomp the ground to lift of chunks of rock which he will then send at the opponent. Then, by using a fire style technique, he will cause them to ignite into burning rock chunks which explode on contact with the enemy.

This is a great projectile based technique and very simple as well. The user will send chunks of rocks (2-4) towards the opponent by stomping their feet on the ground and then send a stream of fire towards the rocks engulfing them in flames. This will have impact and burn effect, which means the opponent will be pushed back from the rocks as well as burned in the area hit. Its a nice jutsu to force the opponent in having to make a quick reaction. If the opponent tries douse the flames the rocks will still be their, its a very tough move to counter on your feet, best to use lightning. The rocks acts as base for the fire. Also the fire added to the rocks are apart of the move, so no need to perform a fire technique just channel katon chakra towards the rocks. You can aim this rocks towards anywhere at the opponent, note the more you send the weaker each are.



(Doton/Raiton: Denki Iwabashira) - Earth/Lightning Release: Electric Rock Pillar

Description: The user will make a set of four hand seals and then will place their hand on the ground to create a pillar of earth to rise up from the ground. This pillar is then given a electrical charge that causes electric bolts to be emitted from the pillar up to short range from the pillar, shocking any targets in the vicinity.

This is a different jutsu we are used to in the doton list. The user will quickly rise pillars from the ground by placing their hands on the ground. The pillars are able to send a electrical charge of lightning bolts towards the opponent. The pillars can be created short-mid range and the lightning bolts move short range from where the pillars are made. You can make more then one pillar but that means the lightning bolts become weaker (2-4 pillars). It is great to set up a defense, but you have to focus your chakra on the pillars to send the bolts. The pillars are also sharp enough to stab the opponent and then shock them.



(Doton: Ukiwagan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Floating Ring Rock Technique

Description: The user focuses his chakra and channels into the earth to create 2 large floating rock cubes 2 meters squared. The cubes rotate around the user to either defend him from incoming attacks (he needs to direct them using hand movements towards the attack and each cube has a C-Rank strength) or, through using the momentum created by the rotation, be flung at the enemy with incredible speed.

Okay the user will summon large floating cubes (2), that are 2 meters squared from the ground to revolve around the user acting as a barrier to attacks and then the user will send the cubes towards the opponent. This is the type of jutsu that kills two birds with one stone. You can though use it for just defense or attack, mainly depending on the situation your in. The more cubes you make the weaker each are, they act as a push type attack. When you send it towards the opponent, it will try to push them back and brake some bones. I like how it reaches all ranges and after you send the cubes they become projectiles. Also you must be on the ground to use this jutsu and send the rocks towards the opponent with hand movements after sent its projectile.

(Doton/Katon: Yodo Ranfunka no Jutsu) - Earth/Fire Release: Molten Earth Wild Eruption Technique
Perform the technique:
With his doton chakra flowing throughout his body, Shadou channels the chakra to head down into his right foot. He proceeds to slightly raise and bend his right leg and then bringing it back at the ground at full force, stomping through it. As he stomps, several chunks of rock rise from the ground. The rocks start to travel at the opponent at a fast pace. Before they can near the target, Shadou starts to channel his katon chakra, releasing a stream of fire from his mouth to add onto the rocks.

Creative uses/strengths:
If Im trying to force my opponent into a corner, I could use this technique since the target will have to react quick, then follow up with my gameplan. Sind3

Drawbacks/counters:
Projectile base techniques leave a lot of room to counter for a quick opponent, so the moment the rocks rise, using the wind stream or similar techniques from the basic five to get out of range will work. Sending a wide enough lightning jutsu will break apart the rocks. If I have a clone on the battlefield, I can have it use a water jutsu to put out the fire while I use a lightning jutsu to break the rocks to be on the safe side.

Shadou raises his hands, keeping them in front of his chest while he weaves together four hand seals. Continuing to build ip his chakra Shadou proceeds to crouch and place his right hand onto the ground, releasing his chakra into the earth. A pillar quickly rises from the ground. As the pillar rises, Shadou channels his ration chakra throughout it, causing an electrical charge to be emitted from the pillar.

Creative uses/strengths:
I could use a jutsu to throw my opponent off balance while I perform this technique and have the lightning hit him. Trapping my opponent so he won’t be able to get out of range of the pillar is a creative user. The strengths of this technique is not only can the pillar stab the opponent but shock them as well. This technique can be used against an aggressive opponent and if I feel the need to go on the defense and slow the battle down.

Drawbacks/counters:
Sending a lightning jutsu at the core of the pillar should break it apart. A drawback is that the user has to concentrate as he sends lightnig bolts through the pillar.


(Doton: Ukiwagan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Floating Ring Rock Technique

Perform the technique:
Gathering his chakra from within, Shadou begins to envision the nature of earth as he focuses on performing his next technique. He release his doton chakra into the air, / Two cubes of earth rise from the ground and revolve around Shadou as a barrier.

Creative uses/strengths:
The technique can be used for degensive or offensive purposes which is its main strength. It can also reach up to long range, making it good for many situations. If the opponent is too close, using this technique to push them back while breaking their bones will work. Sending a large jutsu before hand to distract my opponent and block his vision then sending the cubes at my opponent will catch him by surprise.

Drawbacks/counters:
A minor drawback is that the technique requires hand movements so if the opponent is at quite a distance, they can anticipate where you’re sending the cubes. A counter would be to send a strong enough lightning jutsu to break the squares apart. Trapping a opponent within a dome that restricts movements will prevent them from directing the cubes with their hand

(Doton: Tetsu Keimusho no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Iron Prison Technique

Description: After first performing the required hand seals Ram ? Dog ? Rat the user then places their hand on the ground. This causes a circular arena to surround the target, spanning 15 meters around him and being 4 meters high. The floor, the walls and the ceiling are all chakra reenforced and the user can also lock himself inside if he so pleases. If these prison receives any damage above C-Rank, they disappear in a puff of smoke.

An interesting technique. After performing the hand seals and placing hands on the ground the user will summon a very large 4 meter tall wall which acts as an arena that surrounds the user and opponent. Its 15 meters long, making it long range. The wall are very weak and a basic attack towards them will disperse the walls. This is great to alter the terrain in your favor depending on how the opponent and yourself is using it. Its good to stop an opponent from pushing back to evade your attacks. They are virtually going to be trapped and unable to move around freely. You get an even higher advantage if you are faster then the opponent. It can also break the opponent away from resources he/she might depend on, like a water source if they are a hardcore water user.



( Doton: Jimen Bunretsu no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Ground Splitting Technique

Description: After forming the necessary hand seals Rabbit ? Boar ? Rat ? Horse ? Tiger , the user slams their hands into the ground which causes the earth to erupt upwards or downwards below their target's feet. This technique can also effectively create barricades by creating large trenches or linear elevations that would take quite some time for a regular person to surmount.

Basic technique, after the opponent does the hand seals and slams their hands on the ground, earth will begin to violently jag up from the ground and erupt towards the targets feet like a stream, meaning you must keep your hands on the ground until it gets to the opponents feet. Now when it reaches the opponent rocks will begin to jag up and hit the feet on the opponent injuring them and hurting their speed, they will also lose balance at the same time most likely falling to the ground. The tear through the earth travels very quickly. Also you can anticipate the opponents evasion will be to jump up into the air so using a above attack as a combo would be good. It takes some time to perform. Its basic in its abilities but can be put to good use.

Its a basic projectile technique very fast to perform and simple. The user will rise a rock from the ground which from their you can use as a shield and/or attack the opponent with it as a projectile making it combo friendly. Its most noticeable abilities is it moves a long range and its fast moving as well. Other then this its quite basic and simple. The rocks spin fast and can seriously harm an opponent. Its very fast moving as well.

Description: The user manipulates their chakra creating three huge rocks infront of them. The user will then unleash the three huge rocks coming from three different angles from infront of the enemy to smash into each other causing segements to start protruding from the collision and damaging the opponent.

Another pretty simple jutsu, the user will summon 3 huge rocks that are larger the the user and send the rocks as projectiles towards the opponent. You can send the rocks however you want which makes it handy its a quick jutsu and is great to use with combos. The rocks have the force to crush the opponents bones as well as push them back. A note is though the jutsu itself is B-Rank, each rock is C-Rank power so be weary of that.

Perform the technique:
With his next technique mapped out in his mind, Shadou quickly weaves together the necessary three hand seals while simultaneously gathering his chakra, letting it become one with the properties of the earth element. Shadou then crouches, placing his right hand onto the grounds surface, releasing his doton chakra into the earth. As his chakra flows through the earth, a wall is summoned that forms a circular wall around Shadou and his opponent.

Creative uses/strengths:
A creative use would be to use this technique and then the lightning mineralization technique, giving the opponent even less room to move. I could summon a clone and have it and myself both perform jutsus while we are surrounded by the technique. If there is a water in the battlefield, I could use this technique to block my opponent from channeling the water source. Strength of this technique is that it can reach long range and is capable of turning the battle in the users favor.

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that this technique requires a few hand seals and then for the user to place his hand on the ground which could require time. Another drawback is that the wall can easily be destroyed by the opponent. A wide scale, high ranked fire jutsu should be capable of taking down the wall. A lightning technique that forms in the sky and rain downs on the battlefield could also help. If I want to stay focused on the fight, summoning a clone and having it occupy my opponent while I concentrate on destroying the wall will work.
( Doton: Jimen Bunretsu no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Ground Splitting Technique
Perform the technique:
Shadou raising his hands in front of him, begins to weave together five hand seals (Rabbit ? Boar ? Rat ? Horse ? Tiger) while envisioning the nature of earth. Once his chakra is gathered, Shadou brings his right hand down, slamming onto the ground beneath him. The ground then erupts upwards in front of Shadou’s opponent.

Creative uses/strengths:
Blinding my opponent beforehand will present me the opportunity to perform this jutsu without the target being aware of it. A technique that forms in the sky can prevent any chances of my opponent jumping high into the air to evade. Another creative use would be to use a lightning jutsu capable of paralyzing my opponent first, then using this technique to prevent them from countering.

Drawbacks/counters:
One drawback is that this technique, like the previous one requires a few hand seals and then for the user to slam his hand on the ground. If the user doesn’t use an air technique to combo with this one, using the wind stream technique to boost myself into the air will prove as a counter. Sending lightning jutsu at the ground to break it apart should also prevent the eruption of the earth. Since the user is required to keep his hand on the ground, summoning a clone and having it send a jutsu at my opponent while he is vulnerable would work.
( Doton: Ganseki Shuriken ) - Earth Release: Rock Shuriken
Perform the technique:
Gathering his chakra from within, Shadou uses his chakra to his advantage, using it to lift a big quantity of debris and rock from the ground nearby. He then directs these rocks at his opponent, as they travel towards him, spinning rapidly.

Creative uses/strengths:
Strengths of this technique is that it requires no hand seals and is a fast technique. While the rocks are headed towards my opponent, I could use a technique to form below/above him while he s focused on countering this tech. Blinding my opponent before hand then using this is also a creative use or simply using the rock to defend against lower ranked water stream techniques.

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that this technique is projectile based, so evasion can be quite easy if at a distance from the user. Sending a large enough lightning jutsu directly at the rock should break apart the projectile. Using a technique to boost myself into the air should also work.
( Doton: Shonyuseki ) - Earth Release: Stalactite
Perform the technique:
After letting his chakra take on the properties of the earth element, Shadou begins to manipulate this chakra, calling forth three huge rocks in front of him. Shadou then uses his chakra to direct the rocks towards his opponent, attacking from different angles. (my fingers got tired…..sorry for lack of “performance” hehe)

Creative uses/strengths:
A strength of this technique is that it requires no hand seals and that the rock come from different angles. Using a technique after this jutsu that attacks the opponent from the opposite angles of the rock will make it hard for a counter. Sending a technique beforehand such as the earth river technique to throw my opponent off balance, will give him less of a chance to counter.

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that each rock is c-ranked so a lower ranked lightning jutsu of appropriate size can break apart each rock. The rocks are large so knowing what angle they’re coming from shouldn’t be difficult. Surrounding yourself in a lightning jutsu or using the hiding like a mole technique should work as a counter.

A difficult list to compile seeming there are so many useful B-rank doton techniques. Mud Wolves I included on my list because the wolves have the ability to reform and can last a couple of turns which can be just enough against an opponent with no counter. I also like the technique because the wolves can keep the opponent occupied. Dropping lid I chose because I like techniques that form above the opponents head which are capable of catching one by surprise. I also like the technique because not only can it trap an opponent, but damage one as well. Earth Corridor is on my list because it is capable of imprisioning the opponent. The user also has the choice if he wants to close the cavern made from the technique completely or to leave an opening to send jutsus in combinations which can be dangerous for an opponent with no counter. Antlion technique can be used at great ranges and can trap or suffocate the opponent which is why it’s on my list. The technique number one on my list I chose because it can catch an opponent off guard and can serve for other purposes.

Description: Like the parent technique, it creates a reinforced wall of earth to be used as a defensive mechanism. However, the technique works in a different manner. Using a pre-existing source of earth, it allows the user to create multiple walls of earth, further fortifying their defense instead of forming a single wall, by slamming his hands on the ground.

A very powerful defensive technique. The user will slam their hands on the ground and use the earth up front of them to rise not into jutsu one, but multiple walls. You are able to summon up to 6 large walls. This is a great technique to use for jutsus that are very powerful, it can slow down the pace of the jutsu allowing you time to recover or evade more properly. The walls are of large size. Its great to stop projectile based attacks as well as streaming. After you summon the walls to either stop or slow down the attack you can evade without hesitation. The walls also rise fast consecutively. Drawbacks include you will not have a any vision of the opponent when summoning the walls for they block your vision.


(Doton: Uitenpen) - Earth Style: Wheel Of Fortune

Descripton: The user will bite his thumb and perform the Boar ? Monkey ? Bird ? Monkey ? Ram hand seals, slamming their hand into a scroll on the ground. This technique is a combination of the Summoning Technique and an Earth Release technique. The user summons a large amount of rock from a giant canyon which, during the process of being summoned through this technique, he shapes into a design he outlined previously in a scroll. This allows the user to change the topography of the map and create any earthen feature he needs from pillars to gorges, canyons, mountains or simply plains. If the user wants to or is defeated, the alteration ends as any summon eventually does. Additionally he can use (Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control at any point to change the design and alter the summoned terrain.
Note: can only be used once per battle

A very nice jutsu indeed. You will take out a normal scroll, do some hand seals and bite your thumb. After that you will place your hands on the scroll and summon a huge chunk of rock from a canyon. While summoning the user will mold that canyon rock into anything they desire from it that is possible. This includes caves, mountain, large pillars, or even a huge rock plain. This can only be used once in battle. Their is many creative things you can do. You can summon a mountain behind the opponent restricting his range, this is great to get close to him. You can summon a rock on a water source blocking it, so a water expert will be without his greatest tool. Its performance is dangerous for its a little slow but the summon is as quick as a regular summon. Its a very efficient jutsu which you can alter the terrain in your favor and have complete control of the battle.


(Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control

Description:This jutsu is used after Earth Style: Wheel of Fortune. The user will do the Boar ? Monkey hand seals, slamming his hand on the ground and focusing his earth chakra. As he does this, he can change the design of the original technique. He can do this 3 times per battle.

This goes hand in hand with the technique Earth Style: Wheel of Fortune. Basically after doing two hand seals and slamming their hands on the ground they will control the change of the terrain they did to whatever is possible. So an example could be if you summoned a mountain, using this jutsu you can change it into a cave. You can switch its position as well. The control and change happens at normal speed and is very efficient to change the terrain. This controls the area at your will making it a brilliant technique and what of the very useful techs. You can only change them up 3 times in battle.

Realizing that he was on the defensive, Shadou starts to channel his chakra throughout his network while allowing the chakra to take on the properties of the earth element. Shadou then channels this chakra into his right hand and keeps it focused there until he crouches over to slam his hand onto the ground, releasing his doton chakra into the earth. Multiple walls quickly rise from the ground in front of Shadou, keeping him protected from the oncoming techniques.

Creative uses/strengths:
If the opponent likes to use stream techniques or projectile based techniques, this attack is the perfect defense. I would believe this jutsu could stop a lot of lower ranked fire based jutsus as well. If against multiple enemies or on the verge of death and needing time to rethink stratergy, summoning a clone and having it stand back-to-back with the user and having it perform this jutsu the same time you do will prevent techniques from the front or back.

Drawbacks/counters:
A huge drawback of this technique is that the users vision is blocked from the opponent meaning the opponent can perform techniques without the user anticipating whats about to be done by hand seals or other means. Besides sending a powerful, wide-scale lightning jutsu to break the wall, you can perform a jutsu that attacks the opponent from behind, above, or below. Using a technique like hiding in the mole and then maneuvering underground until your behind your opponent will present a chance to counter. If the user summons multiple walls, summoning a clone to send lightning jutsus as you do the same can save time.
(Doton: Uitenpen) - Earth Style: Wheel Of Fortune
Perform the technique:
Raising his right hand towards his mouth, Shadou bites his thumb, drawing some blood. After biting his thumb, Shadou begins to weave together five hand seals (boar, monkey, bird, monkey, ram) while gathering his doton chakra. He then slams his right hand onto the scroll that was laid by his feet, channeling his chakra through it. Shadou uses the combination of his chakra and the scroll to summon a giant statue of…..a beautiful lady made of rock.
Creative uses/strengths:
This technique can be creatively used to stop a water specialist from channeling a water source that may be nearby. You could use this technique to defend from oncoming jutsus or alter the battlefield into your favor. User could cut off the enemy if he is charging at him or use the technique to boost the opponent into the air to prevent him from using taijutsu./You could use this technique to form a cave around your opponent and then perform the earth technique where a cave crashes down onto the opponent
Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that this technique can only be performed once per battle and is a slow technique to set up since it requires a few hand seals, a thumb bite, and a scroll. Another drawback is that this technique can be wasted if the user isn’t clever enough to use it in an appropriate situation.
(Doton: Dimenshon Fuudo Shihai) - Earth Release: Dimension Topography Control
Perform the technique:
After performing the wheel of fortune earth technique, Shadou quickly weaves together a pair of hand seals while gathering his doton chakra and focusing it in his right hand. Shadou then slams his right hand onto the ground and focuses on using his doton chakra to mold the previous jutsu of the lady into something else to use towards his advantage in the battle. He turns the beautiful lady made of rock into a statue made of Lancer (you XD)
Creative uses/strengths:
If your opponent manages to escape whatever you use the first jutsu for, you can use this jutsu to adjust to his movements are battleplan to either slow him down or prevent him from using jutsus. A strength to this technique is that it can be done three times in a battle which may pay off for the user.
Drawbacks/counters:
Besides changing the terrain of the previous technique, this jutsu has little purpose. Another drawback is that this technique requires additional hand seals and the user to slam his hand onto the ground. Depending on what the user is changing the terrain to, the target might be able to see what he’s doing and prevent it from happening.

(Doton: Iwa no Goremu) – Earth Release: Stone Golem

Description: The user expels a large creature composed of stone from his mouth. The rock golem has a fair amount of stamina and brute strength, being able to bite and tear off flesh with its mouth and hands respectively. If used from above the target then the user can use the earth golem to drop down onto the opponent like a bomb and crush them. The golem can also devour earth structures and other enemy attacks, biting and chewing on it.

A very powerful technique. The user will spew out doton golem straight out their mouth. This technique can be used anywhere at any time with very quick execution which makes it a very handy technique. The user will constantly send chakra towards the golem which in turn controls the golem's movement. You can virtually do anything with the Golem, you can send it towards the opponent as a distraction, or even with force as a projectile based attack. A draw back includes the golem requires a solid base for movement, also you must remain concentrated towards the golem. I think its best to have a clone control it before hand. The golem is not the fastest runner but it has serious strength it can easily break bones with a punch and lift heavy things.


(Doton: Yomi Numa) - Earth Style: Swamp of the Underworld

Description: The user will first perform Boar ? Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

Another one of my most favorite jutsus. The user after performing two hand seals will summon a mud swamp made of the same type of mud adhesive that is very sticky as well as non-flammable. You can summon the size of the mud however you want. The mud is mixed with your chakra so it will constantly sap away the opponents strength so staying in to long can knock you unconscious. The mud can easily take on more then one enemy as well. Its a great ground attack and simple to summon taking almost no time to appear. It has no serious attack ability but if you sink into the mud you will suffocate to death, this jutsu is very combo friendly as well. Its great for distraction play as well as anticipation. Lastly if you are caught the best jutsus include water jutsus that shoot you upward for evasion or even nagashi to negate the mud so you can walk through it.


(Doton: Dosenki) - Earth Release: Mudslide Technique

Description: After performing a sequence of three hand seals Dog ? Ram ? Boar the user then creates a small wall of earth to rise up from the ground infront of them and cause a mud slide to form from the wall and directs it towards the enemy target/s to try engulf them.

One of my favorite jutsus. After doing the hand seals the opponent will create a small wall, a normal sized one that is slightly larger then the user. The user will then punch the ground or manipulate the wall to release a large amount of mud to slide off of the wall straight towards the opponent. Its a great jutsu to use for defense as well as attack at the same time. Its sheer size can cause terrain damage and make the area into mud. The crash is powerful enough to push the opponent back and seriously break some bones. Its great to use to stop large summons as well. Its a simple jutsu to create but it takes some time for the mud to fall off. The wall raises normally. Lastly you must be on the ground.

(Doton: Iwa no Goremu) – Earth Release: Stone Golem
Perform the technique:
Shadou begins to gather a large amount of chakra from his network and molds this chakra to take on the properties of the earth element. The doton chakra is then focused in the mouth of Shadou. He proceeds to open his mouth up wide and spews out a golem made of stone. Once the golem is out, Shadou continues to feed it chakra to fuel its movements.

Creative uses/strengths:
Having a clone capable of performing this technique and having it control the golem while the user focuses on others attacks or vice versa is a great use. Using a jutsu to throw your opponent off balance then using the golem to come falling down onto the opponent from above is another great use. Strengths of this technique is that it can be used in multiple ways and doesn’t require hand seals. A technique capable of trapping the opponent would be smart to use then moving the golem in to wham on the opponent.

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that this jutsu requires the user to remain focus and to feed the golem chakra which can be costly. The golem isn’t fast so a quick enough opponent can easily evade its strikes if not caught off guard beforehand. A golem is also easy to spot, so the opponent will know exactly whats coming.
Doton: Yomi Numa) - Earth Style: Swamp of the Underworld

With his target in sight, SHadou quickly weaves together the boar and tiger hand seals while gathering forth his doton chakra. Shadou uses this chakra to manipulate the surface of the ground beneath his opponent, changing the ground into mud and creating a non-flammable swamp. The target starts to sink down into the mud while Shadou’s chakra starts to sap away at the targets strength, making escaping difficult.

Creative uses/strengths:
Summoning a clone then using this technique while having your clone send jutsus at the opponent while he starts to sink is a creative use. Using this technique then having a technique to strike your opponent from above will be good too. The strengths of this technique is that the size can be chose by the user and the mud is capable of sinking in multiple enemies or a summon. Another strength is that the jutsu is fast performing and can suffocate the target once theyre fully sucked in.

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that this technique feeds off the users chakra, so if the mud stays active for too long, the user can run out of chakra and become unconscious. The technique can be avoided also if an opponent is in the air or standing on the surface of a water source. Using a water jutsu that forms a wave and allows the user to ride it and boost himself into the air would prove to be a counter.

(Doton: Dosenki) - Earth Release: Mudslide Technique
Perform the technique:
Shadou raises his hands in front of his chest and performs the sequence of three hand seals (dog, ram, boar)while letting his chakra take in the properties of earth. Shadou then releases his chakra into the ground as a wall, slightly taller then him suddenly rises in front of Shadou. With the wall in front of him, Shadou bends over and balls of his right hand, forming a fist. He then brings his fist crashing into the ground, causing a large amount of mud to slide off the wall and head towards his target.

Creative uses/strengths:
If fighting an aggressive opponent who likes to perform taijutsu or use projectile base techniques, using this technique can temporarily defend the user. Once the opponent is hit from the mud slide, he should be vulnerable to almost any jutsu due to the force of the technique. Strengths are the wall rises quickly and the technique only requires a couple hand seals.

Drawbacks/counters:
The wall can block the users line of sight since it rises in front of him. The mud also takes awhile to set up which is a drawback. Another huge drawback is that the user and target need to be on the ground for the technique. A user who has seen the jutsu has enough time to react since the mud takes some time to fall off. Countering methods could be sending a strong enough lightning jutsu at the wall to break it apart and disrupt the mud. Also, using a technique to propel oneself into the air would work.

A basic tech but is pretty nice. The user will quickly, with no hand seals manipulate the earth upfront on them to loosen its quality almost making it more softer. With a slam of the hands on the ground they will manipulate the ground to quickly form into a wave of tough debris and mud which creates almost a landslide which is sent towards the opponent like a wave of earth. It has the destructive property to easily cut and push down trees with ease and still continue forward. Its a very fast moving technique, hard to evade. Its also location based, its best to use in a forest. Its a loud technique so not so good for snick attacks neither.

Description: This jutsu causes gigantic pillars of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground. This is a even greater scaled Earth Release: Rising Spikes and is large enough to impale a summoning technique.

A simple but quite the effective jutsu indeed. The user will summon a gigantic pillar of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground around any location the user desires. Its quite the large jutsu and difficult to evade when it begins to emerge. It makes a loud noise as well as the ground will become dense signalling it rising so that can be a window of evasion. Its great to use for combos to attack in all flanks of the opponent. If the opponent is caught the will be hurt as well as launched in the air with force, mid-air they are left vulnerable and open for attacks. Its a great jutsu to use against summons and is tall enough to attack an opponent air-borne. The pillar when it begins to rises is very fast as well as while it rises you can go onto the next tech. Simple evasions as well as cracking the large pillar using lightning would be best.

Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

Okay this is a handy jutsu indeed. The user will have complete control of the ground and will be able to raise or lower the ground by 20 meters. With it you can create walls to block attacks or evade them. You can capture enemies by lowering the ground. Also a note is in the manga when used against Madara he actually stumbled due to the sudden rise of the ground, so you can easily catch an opponent off and have a clone or ally send an attack making life difficult for the opponent. You can alter the terrain as well with it. It has no serious offensive abilities but its main purpose is the supplement yourself in battle. Also for every time you move the ground it counts as a turn so be weary. Also by the time the ground fully erects it will take several seconds. (3-5s) depending just how high you set it. 20 meters is the limit but you have control just how long you want to raise it.

(Doton: Dochubaku) - Earth Release: Landslide Technique
Perform the technique:
Shadou starts to gather his chakra while envisioning the technique he would be performing. He allows his chakra to take on the properties of the earth element while he continues to channel it through his chakra network. With the required amount of chakra gathered, Shadou uses it to manipulate the earth in front of him to loosen its quality, making it softer. Shadou then slams his right hand onto the ground, causing the ground to form into a wave of debris that creates a landslide, directed at his opponent.

Creative uses/strengths:
The technique is capabl;e of pushing down tres and other objects so if used creatively, it could be used to free the battlefield if he doesn’t like fighting in tight areas. While sending this jutsu at the opponent, he is sure to be distracted giving oppouronutiy to perform a combo. Strengths of this technique is that it requires no hand seals and it can reach up to long-range.

Drawbacks/counters:
A major drawback is that this technique is location based so if fighting on the wrong terrain, this technique will be pointless. The technique itself is loud so an opponent will know its coming. A way to counter is to use any technique capable of propelling yourself into the air.

After gathering his chakra from within and allowing it to become one with the properties of earth, Shadou begins to envision pillars emerging from under his opponent. With the technique in his mind, Shadou uses his chakra to manipulate and summon a large pillar of rock to emerge under his opponent.

Creative uses/strengths:
This technique could be used as a distraction, while the opponent is concentrated on evading, the user could send a quick jutsu at them to catch them off guard. Placing the opponent under a genjutsu that is capable of effecting their hearing, could take away the anticipation of the jutsu. A lightning technique beforehand that can paralyze will also prove to be a creative use. While the opponent is in the air, sending any jutsu should finish off the job. Strengths are the technique is powerful and quic.

Drawbacks/counters:\
A drawback is that this technique can be anticipated, giving the target a quick chance to evade. Sending a strong enough lightning jutsu to break apart the pillars would work as well. A wind technique to push yourself away from the area where the pillars emerge will work as well.

Shadou slams his right hand onto the ground after gathering the necessary chakra required for his next move and allowing it to match the properties of earth. Once his hand makes contact with the ground, Shadou releases his chakra into the earth and uses his chakra to manipulate the ground in the area, lowering it.
Creative uses/strengths:
If the opponent is a water specialist or likes to user lower ranked fire jutsus, I could use this technique to defend myself. I could summon a shadow clone and have it perform jutsus after I use this technique to throw my opponent off balance. The length of the jutsu can be set as long as it doesn’t exceed 20m and the technique can reach up to long range which is a strength of this technique,.
Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that every time you use this technique to alter the ground, a turn is wasted so the technique should be used wisely. A user can anticipate the technique since it moves underground. Using a wind technique to get away from the affected area would work, so would sending lightning jutsu at the ground to prevent the technique from happening.

(Doton: Kajugan no Jutsu): Earth Style: Added Weight Rock Technique

Description: The user will perform the Snake handseal and touch a given target (he needs to use his hands in most cases but can release the technique through his whole body if needed) for a small time frame. Upon doing so, he'll use the earth chakra to increase the weight of the target drastically. The technique can increase the targets weight up to 10 times. One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

One of the very unique and famous jutsus. The user will perform one hand seal and staying in contact with the object he will insert his doton chakra into the object and manipulate it in a way that the very same object will increase in mass. This will increase the weight of the object up to ten times more then the usual weight. This can easily restrict that very object or persons movement dramatically. Moving will be almost impossible. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. In all other cases, only weight is added. So energy based attacks will not added in weight. Also this can easily be used on oneself or object to increase its power and impact. So its awesome for close range but you will sacrifice your speed because of it. Unless releasing the jutsu itself then the weight will remain on the object and/or person for two turns. Its a good jutsu but has many drawbacks as well be sure to use wisely.


(Doton: Keijugan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Light Weight Rock Technique

Description: Contrary to its counterpart (the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique), instead of making the target heavier, this technique makes it much lighter, though still using the same principle and mechanics. The user will make direct contact with the given target (through his hands), infusing them with earth chakra and lowering their weight drastically. The technique can lower a targets weight up to 10 times less than it originally had. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The technique can be used on the user or other shinobi to increase their speed, but as a consequence of using it this way, it results in the decrease of the physical force of their blows. The same principle applies if used on a physical attack wich will be faster but will carry less momentum and as such, less physical damage. It doesn't change the "strength" of binding techniques (like Sand Release), where the user is manipulating a dynamic element but will decrease the impact damage of techniques that rely on it.
Note: The initial effects last for 2 turns or until countered.

The polar opposite of the previous jutsu. Instead of gaining mass this jutsu acts to lower the mass of the object or person up to ten times lighter then the usual weight. This jutsu when used in battle either lowering your own mass or a mass of an object exchanges the impact power for blazing speed. Its a great tool to use for fast attacks and pressuring the opponent. You can also increase your own speed to evade certain attacks with ease. Also a very important note is They cannot petrify water or anything other than earthen materials such as mud and Wood techniques. Its another risky jutsu, you might have speed but due to so little mass you will have less of an impact in certain jutsus as well as most taijutsus. Be very weary of that.

Description: The user will knead their earth chakra into their stomach and then release from their mouth earthly material that then forms into a large slab of rock, that can travel with incredible force. On impact with the ground the slab forces the earth to splinter and jab anyone caught in the vicinity.

One of the more basic jutsus of the A-Ranks. No hand seals and very easy to perform. The user will spew out earth material and set on the ground. The material will turn into a slab of rock and then the user will manipulate it to travel with force towards the opponent. This is a hefty jutsu able to crush and push the opponent back breaking bones and seriously handicapping the opponent. Its main advantage is its raw power. It can also act as a defense blocking attacks and then continue for an attack. It can knock out anything its path and when sent with force acts as a projectile technique. Its straightforward technique and the shape manipulation will take some time.

Shadou raises his hands up towards his chest and weaves together the hand seal of the snake while envisioning the nature of earth. After gathering enough chakra, Shadou places his right hand onto a boulder and infuses his chakra with it. Using his chakra, Shadou starts to change the weight of the boulder, increasing it dramatically, making it impossible for any average man to lift.
Creative uses/strengths:
This techniaue can be used one oneself to add damage to physical attacks. Trapping an opponent so that he cannot move and then moving near him to and touching him to perform this jutsu could be a creative use or using this technique on mud or boulders and hurling them at your opponent. A strength is that this weight change last two turns which really could be helpful if used correctly.

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is if this technique is not used wisely, it can come back to haunt the user. Also using this technique on oneself can slow the user down which can be costly. Only being able to effect earth properties means that this technique could be pointless if the user is standing on water. A counter would be to send a strong enough lightning jutsu if sometime is thrown at u or use wind techniques to effectively evade.

Perform the technique:
After gathering his chakra and allowing it to take on the properties of earth, Shadou approaches this gigantic boulder that was near him and places his right hand on it while releasing his chakra into the boulder.Using his chakra that was now infused with the boulder, Shadou changes the weight of the boulder drastically making it almost as lightly as a feather.

Creative uses/strengths:
You can use this attack to go on the aggressive and try to push your opponents back against a wall by using this technique to increase speed and constantly perform strong taijutsu techniques. Even though the damage won’t be as much, it could serve to throw your opponent off guard especially if used with a normal clone and used strategically. If an opponent uses an attack revolving around using mud to trap you, using this technique to lightnen the mud would be a way to escape. If using attacks that involve large heavy boulders, using this technique to lower the weight will help hurl the boulder.

Drawbacks/counters:
Main drawback is that this technique decreases impact from physical strength if used on oneself so relying on taijutsu might not be the best strategy or jutsus that require physical attacks.

Creative uses/strengths:
Bliding or trapping an opponent beforehand so they wont be able to evade this technique is a creative use, also using a technique beforehand that forms above your opponent to draw his attention while this jujtsu makes it way towards him or using an genjutsu to immobilize a user then this technique. If the opponent has a lot of trees or obstacles in front of them, using this technique can work as well

Drawbacks/counters:
A drawback is that the manipulation of this technique can give the target a chance to prepare for a counter. A counter could be sending a large enogh sphere of lightning jutsu to break apart the slab. Using a jutsu to boost yourself into the air or underground will prove to be a way o counter.
