Description: The user manipulating their chakra generates a plasma barrier around them to serve as a defence which protects them from incoming attacks, even from something as wide-ranged as the Quicksand Waterfall Flow however the user cannot use other techniques besides lightning release or physical based techniques. The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.
Note: Technique remains active for 3 turns.
A brilliant defensive technique, withdraw backs. Now the user will quickly generate a plasma ball around their whole body. This ball is powerful enough to take in some strong attacks as well as projectile attacks. This is great to focus on the offense instead of needing to look to defend, you will always have upper hand on the opponent. A huge disadvantage is you can only use lightning jutsus as well as physical based jutsus. You can move around the terrain normally even if the plasma is active, giving a very mobile feel to it. Also if an opponent touches the plasma ball or tries to get close they will be shocked, also meaning you have an advantage in close range battle and force a opponent to push back. Lastly to conflict a serious blow, the user can release the energy of the ball which, if it hits the opponent, can cause serious damage towards him. It can only go up to short range the blast and the ball will disperse when you use the blast. If you don't and want to keep it full on, it lasts only 3 turns.

Description: The user manipulates their lightning chakra condensing into a orb of chakra and then releasing it into mid air. The lightning orb will then remain in the air for several seconds releasing a continous rain of lightning bolts shocking any enemy within the radius of the attack.
A good technique the user will condense a orb of lightning into their hands and release it into the sky. The ball will have built up energy and quickly after condensing it they will send the ball into the sky above the opponents area. After a few seconds (3-5 seconds) the ball will release its energy into countless needles which rain down upon the opponent, it acts as a way to pierce and shock the opponent. Now do not use this close to you. The bolts shoot everywhere short range within the radius its placed. So if you are in the radius it might hurt you to since the bolts shoot randomly.
After you send it in the air, no you do not need to remain concentrated towards it, it reacts after a few seconds on its own.( Raiton: Purazuma Bōru ) - Lightning Release: Plasma Ball

- It is pretty cool technique. Although the user is in the form of the barrier user will be able to move freely.
- It is actually able to protect you from all sorts of attacks and not only taijutsu.
- Interesting thing about the technique is that it is offensive as well as defensive at the same time. While lighting barrier is active you will be able to defend from all sorts of attacks but then again you can charge bolt of lighting making it offensive attack.

- One of biggest drawbacks about this technique is that once activated user is only able to use lighting like techniques.
- Once you release the bolt of lighting,the barrier is canceled.
- Every turn you keep it active you iwll loose chakra.
It is great technique that can be used in offensive as well as defensive purposes. I think it is best to be used in short range in taijutsu like fights. Being able to protect yourself from all sorts of attacks but at the same time being able to swiftly and unexpectedly release lighting confusing your opponent and making damage as well as pushing him away and giving him very little time to react.
Ways to counter this technique
Oh well,I can use wind like techniques to destroy the barrier but the best way to ''counter'' it is by using width water techniques. Once opponent is coated with lighting he will be pretty vulnerable to water making it lethal if used in defensive way. If used in offensive way I will need to focus on forming of actual bolt and cutting trough it with futon kenjutsu like techniques that are swift to be performed.

Combinations-strategies
- The biggest draw back about this jutsu is that it is only usable in short range which will mean you will have to be careful how you release the lighting ball so you don't get caught in rain of bolt.
- You will firstly need to create a ball of lighting inside of your hands giving opponent time to think about what will they do next and how would they counter the technique.
Hmm,because it is only able to be used in short range,it's usages are as well very limited. It can be used as distraction. Sending a lighting ball in the air and making your opponent focus on it while you perform something else. But if in your plan is that you want to lighting bolts actually hit opponent it is best to hide this jutsu behind a jutsu that is width in scale. Or use a jutsu that will make your opponent loose balance making dodging this jutsu pretty hard.
Ways to counter this technique
It is used in short range and you are able to see lighting ball being formed inside of the opponent hands and moment you notice it,it would be best to use a technique that will aim towards your opponent hands,while he is building up that ball inside of his/hers hands and unabling him to even let the ball actually do what it is suppose to do.

I have a question. Will the user constantly need to manipulate that ball of lighting that is sent in the air?
In the fifth place I would have to put (Raiton: Ikazuchi no Kiba) - Lightning Release: Fangs of Lightning. Range of the attack is good. It is especially good if you are able to blind your opponent just before raising up your hand in the air and sending lighting discharge. You are able to control were the lighting from the sky is going to hit making it even better. In the fourth place I would put (Raiton: Shichu Shibari) – Lightning Release: Four-Pillar Bind. Although it has 5 hand seals it is pretty useful if performed correctly. You are able to surround your opponent as well as bind him down and make damage. Third place would have to take (Raiton: Raiton Kage Bunshin) - Lightning Release: Lightning Shadow Clone. Clone's are always useful in battles. Having an extra hand is always a good thing. And it being able to perform up to B-rank lighting as well as taijutsu is even better.In the second place I would put ( Raiton: Purazuma Bōru ) - Lightning Release: Plasma Ball. It is a pretty cool jutsu that can be used in offensive as well as defensive purposes. Although it is only usable in short range to have some real effects and to swiftly be able to turn from defensive to offensive side you are pretty nicely protected from all sorts of attack. And in the first place I would put ( Raiton: Kaminari no Shōgeki Ame ) - Lightning Release: Lightning Shock Rain. Although usable only in short range I like the overall concept of the jutsu. It can be used as a distraction but at the same time it can make damage and it can be hard to dodge. Especially if you manage to blind your opponent just before creating a ball and sending it in the air. You won't need to constantly provide it with chakra which means once you let ball you will be able to do as you wish.After you send it in the air, no you do not need to remain concentrated towards it, it reacts after a few seconds on its own.
