[Discussion] Don't you hate it when someone judges the anime you watch?

my friend hates one piece yet he has no valid reason he usies the excuse he cant draw blah blah blah it is annoying but after awhile i dont let it bother me as he is missing out on a lot he says he doesnt like pirates but one piece isnt your typical pirate enetertainment

But what really irritates me are the hardcore anime/manga fans who hate all the super popular (and usually plaid on cartoon network via Toonami or Adult Swim) anime/manga. Cuz it's too mainstream for them. (all my friends who watch anime except for one are like this).

that just makes them wannabes then people shouldnt let that bother them if you like something like it and watch it and what would they do if there favorite series became mainstream lol

They can say all they want, I don't care. Unless they speak of any of my yuri animes like kannazuki no miko...I'm a big fan, I know all yuri out there and understand the storylines, if someone who's too narrow minded couldn't see certain parts of the anime and use common sense to explain it. I will go after them because most of the times, there underage kids, even older- who are just so simple minded and bash it- it pisses me off.

ofc, there's a few times I stand up for naruto when I have enough, they don't watch it and want to comment on it.

Yeah I do.. I told one guy to ' take his ignorance somewhere else' in front of everyone when we were talking about manga.

Just tell them that it is an inspiring story about a man (Goku) overcoming immense obstacles, never giving up on his family and friends, and doing what is right in the face of overwhelming adversity. Its like the Japanese Harry Potter

I just hate the ppl who get the holier than thou attitude about a manga that they may be dickriding, like for instance. I heard this one member bashing kishimoto really hard and he was talking about how bleach is doing better than it ever has, and kishi should be more like the guy who does bleach. Bleach is super boring to me due to the fact that even the strongest of ppl just get fodderized off the page, and ichigo does all the work.

LOL yeah it gets annoying how the people Ichigo cannot beat are losing then when Ichigo is practically dead after battling some super enemy Orihime yells his name and he gets a new super power. At least Kubo(writer of bleach) makes characters die unlike Kishimoto where everyone lives even in a war.

Im not caught up on bleach, I actually stopped watching because no one ever died. characters would lose gallons upon gallons of blood and pull through. I guess the series has picked up since then though, Ill have to find the time to catch up
