It was because of Obitos and Madaras actions, as well as the five kages who united to fight against Madara.

Naruto didn't do shit politically and had a lot of help in the entire war. His best action/ his peak was when he had his battle with Nagato/Pain. I agree on that point that the war would've been over a lot sooner, if people didn't interfere with Sasuke. Alive-Madara and Kaguya wouldn't have been a thing.

I'd give naruto the edge because he joined the war pretty much before sasuke did and turned the war into their advantage plus it was because of naruto that itachi was set free > cancel the edo tensei jutsu.

But it was Sasuke who help stop Edo Tensei.
It was Sasuke who got the Previous Hokage revived.
It was Sasuke's actions that prevented the SA from being nuked.
It was Sasuke who stood tall while Naruto was crying.

It was Sasuke who resisted the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
It was Sasuke who help stop Kaguya.
It was Sasuke who help undo the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Sasuke basically did everything. Hell.. had they listen to him about killing Obito then Madara or Kaguya wouldn't have been a thing.

It's funny they look at Naruto as the hero. When Sasuke put in more work than him.


Naruto only list of accomplishment that differ from Sasuke would be the Zetsu crisis. Did Naruto even motivate the Shinobi Alliance? How many times did he lose his will to fight? LOL. I'm not shitting on Naruto accomplishments, but it's kind of messed up how they leave Sasuke out.

I also think you seem to forget how Naruto saved everyone from the multiple bijoubombs that Obito fired on the whole shinobi alliance, by linking his chakra and the whole shinobi alliance, to Minato's.
He wiped out the Zetsu crisis.
Also Naruto shared his feelings with the whole alliance and even though he was almost collapsing, he stood up every time, strengthening the whole alliance their moral.
Naruto changed the hearts of all the bijou.
He also saved Obito, who rescued Sasuke out of that dimension.
Thanks to Naruto's help (and Itachi's crow), Itachi was set free, which allowed him to defeat Kabuto with Sasuke's help.

If naruto didnt defeat Sasuke in the end, than there wouldnt be this peace with a hero to begin with.

Of course in the end Sasuke has done a lot of useful stuff too, but not in a way that is fitting to include in the hero story, with him having been a big criminal and all as well.

Also even though Hamura helped Hagoromo, Hamura isnt as known.
Even though Minato wasnt the only one who stopped the ninetails attack 16 years ago, its still him who is mostly known as a hero in that fight.

Thats how those drawings with the hero on a stone like tablet work.

Sasuke having been able to change to the Boruto movie version is a great effort by him (with Naruto's help), but Sasuke hasnt done more to stop the war and create peace.
Equal at best and that is pushing it (seeing as he needed to be defeated to get to the current peace at all).
