Seems like it but even then the sword with a biju bomb only destroyed a mountain, biju bomb can already do that without a ps sword so in terms of destructive power it's pointless.

Enlightenment would only hasten the explosion because it doesn't catch the biju bomb it punches it so the results will remain the same without expending all that chakra.

The Ps swords were useless not the biju bomb. biju bomb was what was responsible for destroying those arms, the sword did do anything really.

If he didn't add swords, Sage Art: Wood Style: True Several Thousand Hands could have caught the Tailed Beast Bombs. Yes, it used only fists, but that's because it couldn't catch them due to the addition of the swords, making offense the only option.

He's not gonna catch a biju bomb mid way strike. Like I said he could've kept ricocheting the biju bomb without the susanoo sword and guard himself properly.

I meant distance does not matter as in Hashirama can catch them regardless of how far he is. What I believe you're insinuating is that Madara have Kurama jump away after firing the Tailed Beast Bombs, yes? This would indeed preserve distance and grant him a further level of security, but it in no way stops Hashirama from grabbing the attacks. It would only work in the middle of a clash, like I believe you're also considering, but that case wouldn't arise because Hashirama would be catching instead of attacking, and Kurama is not making anywhere near 1,000 Tailed Beast Bombs.

No he can't, biju bomb detonate faster in close proximity. You don't even need to whip the biju bomb up in front close.

Well for one the bold part is exactly what I'm talking about. He can't undo the enlightenment once mid way into the clash because many arms follow right behind the other.

As for the 1,000 bombs that is completely unnecessary considering that it takes 11 barrage of bombs is enough to destroy the arms so a 1,000 would just be overkill. And artifacts of the buddah cannot catch or hold a biju bomb at
